Enjoy the Divine Capacity of the Law of the Spirit of Life Operating in us Today

April 8, 2025 by aGodMan 11 Comments

Because those whom He foreknew, He also predestinated [to be] conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the Firstborn among many brothers. Rom. 8:29

We believers in Christ have the inner law of life, the law of the Spirit of life, which functions in us and has the divine capacity to enable us to live God, be constituted with God, become the same as God in life and nature, and be constituted as members of the Body of Christ […]

Hold to Truth to Grow into Christ, the Head, and Function out of the Head for the Body

Unto the economy of the fullness of the times, to head up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens and the things on the earth, in Him. Eph. 1:10

The intrinsic building up of the organic Body of Christ is by the direct building by all the members – into the Head and out of the Head; we need to hold to truth in love and grow up into Him, and out of the Head we will be richly supplied to function in […]

As Building Members, we need Shepherding and Teaching to be Perfected in our Function

Shepherd the flock of God among you, overseeing not under compulsion but willingly, according to God... 1 Pet. 5:2

Thank the Lord for His giving of some gifts for the perfecting of the saints unto the work of the ministry for the building up of the Body of Christ by means of shepherding and teaching so that all saints may be perfected! How much we appreciate Him, our dear Head and Lord, who […]

Loving the Lord by Doing the Work of the Ministry to Build up the Body of Christ

For the perfecting of the saints unto the work of the ministry, unto the building up of the Body of Christ. Eph. 4:12

We need to love the Lord in incorruptibility by doing the work of the ministry for the building up of the Body of Christ; the work of the building up of the Body of Christ, as seen in Eph. 4, is eternal and glorious. Amen! Paul’s epistle to the Ephesians unveils the highest revelation […]

Cooperating with the Lord to Recover the New Testament Priesthood of the Gospel

February 8, 2018 by aGodMan 6 Comments

Whether it be in the vital group meeting, in the prophesying in the church meetings, in the preaching of the gospel by visiting people, or in the care for the new ones, the principle is the same — we must make all the saints the members of the Body of Christ, with everyone working, everyone functioning according to his measure, for the building up of the organic Body of Christ.

We need to be one with the Lord and cooperate with Him to recover the New Testament priesthood of the gospel, bringing every member of the Body into function in his measure in the Body of Christ. The revelation in the Bible concerning us as believers and members of the Body of Christ has been […]

The Church is an Organism, so we all are being Perfected to Function in the Body

February 6, 2018 by aGodMan 10 Comments

Eph. 4:11-16 v. 11 And He Himself gave some as apostles and some as prophets and some as evangelists and some as shepherds and teachers, v. 12 For the perfecting of the saints unto the work of the ministry, unto the building up of the Body of Christ, v. 13 Until we all arrive at the oneness of the faith and of the full knowledge of the Son of God, at a full-grown man, at the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, v. 14 That we may be no longer little children tossed by waves and carried about by every wind of teaching in the sleight of men, in craftiness with a view to a system of error, v. 15 But holding to truth in love, we may grow up into Him in all things, who is the Head, Christ, v. 16 Out from whom all the Body, being joined together and being knit together through every joint of the rich supply and through the operation in the measure of each one part, causes the growth of the Body unto the building up of itself in love.

The practice of the God-ordained way to meet and serve comes out of our seeing that the church is an organism as a mingling of God and man, produced by the Triune God in his Divine Trinity. We thank and praise the Lord for showing us the light and revelation regarding the scriptural way to […]

Rejecting any Traditional Way and taking the Scriptural Way to Meet by Living in Spirit

December 29, 2017 by aGodMan 4 Comments

The scriptural way to meet and to serve surely is against the religious and social way of meeting and service....This way is spiritual. It fits the taste of the living and spiritual man and requires man to be living and in the spirit. To take this way, we need to be revived, to live a victorious life, and to walk by and according to the spirit. For this way to be prevailing in our meeting and in our service, we also need to have an uninterrupted fellowship with the Lord daily and hourly. We need to contact the Lord from the beginning of each day by calling on His name and pray-reading His Word that we may enjoy Him and be supplied with His riches. We need to speak Him to people all day long whether in season or out of season. To live such a life for the scriptural way to meet and to serve surely requires us always to pay a price. The Scriptural Way to Meet and to Serve for the Building Up of the Body of Christ, p. 328, by Witness Lee

For the building up of the Body of Christ, we need to practice the scriptural way to meet and to serve, and we need to give up and forsake any traditional way in Christianity which may still influence us. First of all, we need to realize that we are the Body of Christ, and together […]
