July 25, 2026 by aGodMan 10 Comments

And I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. Matt. 16:18

The Christ who is making His home in our heart is the unlimited and immeasurable Christ, and He is filling us with Himself unto all the fullness of God to issue in the genuine church life; we need to let Christ make His home in our heart for the building up of the church as […]

Being Willing to Let Go of our Ordinances for the Sake of the Church as the New Man

May 29, 2025 by aGodMan 14 Comments

Wiping out the handwriting in ordinances, which was against us, which was contrary to us; and He has taken it out of the way, nailing it to the cross. Col. 2:14

On the cross, Christ created the new man in Himself by abolishing in His flesh the law of the commandments in ordinances, the middle wall of partition; all our ways of living and worship – which create enmity and division – have been terminated on the cross, and now we only have Christ and the […]

July 29, 2023 by aGodMan 6 Comments

That Christ may make His home in your hearts through faith, that you, being rooted and grounded in love. Eph. 3:17

The genuine church life is through the inner experience of the indwelling Christ, especially His making His home in our heart; to have the genuine church life, we need to experience and enjoy the riches of Christ by pray reading the word of God. Amen! This week we have been enjoying the matter of […]

Experience Christ as Everything and Taking up our Cross for the Genuine Church Life

July 28, 2023 by aGodMan 13 Comments

For if we have grown together with Him in the likeness of His death, indeed we will also be in the likeness of His resurrection. Rom. 6:5

The way for us to realize the genuine church life is to experience Christ as everything to us; furthermore, the genuine church life requires us to take up our cross and follow the Lord, for only when the self is crossed out can Christ come to be the reality of the church life. The […]

Enjoying and Experiencing the Riches of Christ issues in the Genuine Church Life

July 27, 2023 by aGodMan 11 Comments

To me, less than the least of all saints, was this grace given to announce to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ as the gospel. Eph. 3:8

The issue of our being brought back to Christ Himself is the genuine church life; the genuine church life is the issue of the enjoyment of the riches of Christ so that we may become His fullness, and it is Christ realized, experienced, and expressed by the saints in a corporate way. Amen, may […]

Continually Experiencing Christ in His Inward Parts for the Church as the One New Man

February 17, 2018 by aGodMan 4 Comments

2 Cor. 11:10 The truthfulness of Christ is in me. 1 Cor. 16:24 My love in Christ Jesus be with you all. Phil. 1:8 For God is my witness how I long after you all in the inward parts of Christ Jesus.

We need to be those who are continually experiencing Christ in His inward parts for the church as the one new man. We need to learn from the apostle Paul to remain in the inward parts of Christ, have a feeling for the Body, and live the church life with the consciousness of the new […]

Living in the Inward Parts of Christ and Realising our Equal Status in the New Man

February 16, 2018 by aGodMan 6 Comments

In the new man the members love one another in faith (Titus 3:15). The relationship is of love through faith. The apostle appreciates the fellowship of Philemon’s faith (Philem. 6) and is encouraged by his love (v. 7); thus he entreats him to receive Onesimus because of this love (v. 9). These two virtues are referred to in a combined way. Philemon has both of them, not only toward the Lord, but also toward all the saints. Witness Lee, Life-Study of Philemon, p. 2

In the church as the one new man all believers have an equal status, for they all are filled and saturated with Christ, and they love one another in faith by living in the inward parts of Christ. In Colossians we see both the definition and the practical application of the one new man with […]
