The Gospel of the Kingdom must be Preached for All Men to Repent for the Kingdom!

July 24, 2019 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

Repent, for the kingdom of the heavens has drawn near. Matt. 3:2

God commands everyone to repent for the kingdom, and we in the church life need to bring the gospel of the kingdom to the whole inhabited earth for a testimony, and then the end will come! The gospel of grace, the gospel of the forgiveness of sins, has been preached throughout the earth; the gospel […]

We Maintain the Newness of our Heart and Spirit by having a Repentant and Soft Heart

June 25, 2018 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

2 Cor. 4:16 Therefore we do not lose heart; but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day.

In considering what should our heart and spirit be in serving the Lord, we all need to have a new start to maintain the newness of our heart and our spirit, and we can do this by having a continual repentance in our fellowship with the Lord daily. In serving the Lord and particularly in […]

Repenting and Doing the First Works – the Works Motivated by our Love for the Lord

November 16, 2016 by aGodMan 11 Comments

When we stand before the judgment seat of Christ (2 Cor. 5:10), we will surely not be praised for the greatness or volume of our work; what the Lord will investigate is how much of what we do is out of our love to Him. Watchman Nee

The Lord’s word to the church in Ephesus in Rev. 2:1-7 is a warning to us all; after He acknowledged the many works, labor, endurance, and suffering that the church in Ephesus had, the Lord said He has one thing against her, that she has lost her first love, and therefore she had to repent, […]

God Charges all to Repent for the Kingdom; we need to Repent to Live in the Kingdom!

May 6, 2016 by aGodMan 1 Comment

God commands everyone to repent for the kingdom. To repent means that originally we were rebellious and against God, but now we turn back to the Lord in submission. To repent is to have a change of mind issuing in regret, to have a turn in purpose. Witness Lee

As human beings we were born in the human kingdom to be men, and as believers in Christ we have been re-born into the divine kingdom to be citizens of the kingdom of God. We are not merely men part of the human kingdom, the highest created form of life, but we are also God-men, […]

Realising the Impotence and Insufficiency of Our Natural Being in the Things of God.JPG

In order for us to grow in the divine life and to serve God according to His heart’s desire, we need to deal with our natural constitution. How much we grow in life and how much we can minister life to others depends on our dealing with our natural constitution. We need to ask the […]

create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit / a right spirit within me

October 13, 2011 by aGodMan 1 Comment

Once we confess our sins, God forgives us of our sins and He also forgets them! To forgive literally means “causing it to leave” / “sending away” (Matt. 12:31; Rom. 4:7). When God forgives us of our sins, He forgives us of our sins because of the Lord’s blood which covers us and He also causes them to depart from us!
