The Process of God’s Holiness and the Goal of God’s Glory in the Divine Dispensing

In every church there must be the base of God’s righteousness, the process of God’s holiness, and the goal of God’s glory; today we are in the process of being sanctified to be holy as God is holy, and the ultimate goal of God’s dispensing is that God would be expressed through the Body of Christ for His glory in the church.

Lord Jesus, thank You for dying for us on the cross. Thank You for taking away the sin of the world. We believe into You and we receive the accomplished fact of Your justification. Hallelujah, Christ is our righteousness as the base for us to be under the divine dispensing! Amen, Lord, continue to sanctify us and even be glorified in us for You to gain Your corporate expression, Your glory! Amen!

This week we have been prayerfully considering the dispensing of the Triune God as life into the tripartite man according to His righteousness, through His holiness, and unto His glory.

We have been mainly reading the book of Romans in a prayerful way to see how God dispenses Himself into us as life. God’s eternal economy is to dispense Himself as the law of the Spirit of life into man so that His divine attributes of righteousness, holiness, and glory would become our human virtues for God’s corporate expression.

Christ came and died on the cross to satisfy the requirements of God’s righteousness, holiness, and glory, and He was resurrected to become the life-dispensing Spirit as the reality of the tree of life to be our righteousness, holiness, and glory.

Wow, not only did Christ open the way for us to enjoy the tree of life but even more, He was resurrected to be the life-dispensing Spirit to bring us into the enjoyment of Christ.

Through faith in Christ, our spirit becomes life because of righteousness. When we set our mind on our spirit, our mind becomes life.

And the Spirit will impart life even to our mortal body. Hallelujah!

God is truly making us the same as He is in the way of life. His appearance both in Ezekiel and in Revelation is like a rainbow, and we are becoming the spiritual reality of the rainbow in the church life today.

The way this is carried out is God’s dispensing, the continual transmission of Christ as wisdom to us from God to be righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. Hallelujah!

This wonderful book of Romans shows us that today we need to have the procedure of God’s righteousness, the process of God’s holiness, and the goal of God’s glory. He will gain His glory in the church! Amen!

The Process of God’s Holiness: the Divine Sanctification is Subjective and Carries out the Divine Economy

The divine dispensing is according to God’s righteousness as the base and through God’s holiness as the process.

What is God’s holiness, and how can we partake of it? Sanctification is the subjective activity of holiness; it is holiness in action.

Sanctification is primarily an individual matter, for we need to be individually sanctified by being separated unto God and saturated with God’s holy element.

Sanctification is the resurrected Christ as “the Spirit the Holy,” the sanctifying Spirit in our spirit (1 Thes. 5:23; Rom. 6:19, 22; 15:16; 8:4).

The Spirit is holy; the Holy Spirit is with our spirit, sanctifying us and working Himself as God’s holy nature into our being to make us the holy city.

In our daily experience, we may have a wonderful time with the Lord in the morning, and we are sanctified in His word. But then we say a word to our spouse or someone looks at us in a particular way, and we come out of the fellowship with the Lord. Oh Lord!

If we lose our temper with our spouse, our personal sanctification is damaged. We may confess to the Lord we may receive His cleansing, but we may not be able to express the Lord’s glory.

But if we stay in fellowship with the Lord, even when our spouse or someone around us gives us a hard time, we will be able to remain in the process of God’s holiness, that is, in the process of sanctification.

The divine sanctification is the holding line in the carrying out of the divine economy (Heb. 2:10-11; Eph. 1:4-5; Rev. 21:2).

From our regeneration all the way to the redemption of our body, what holds us in God’s economy and what carries out God’s economy in us is the divine sanctification.

First of all, we were “hooked” by God’s sanctification; the divine sanctification caught us, and we are now on this line of the divine sanctification.

We are now in the process of God’s organic salvation as God moves to deify man, making man God in life and in nature but not in the Godhead. Hallelujah!

Just as a person who goes fishing puts bait on a hook and then lets the line go far, where the fish are, and when the fish is caught, he reels the fish in, so we were caught by the divine sanctification to be in the process of God’s holiness.

Our whole Christian life is a life of sanctification until we become the same as Christ, having God’s life and nature and living by His life and according to His nature.

Every step of God’s economy in His work with us and in us is to make us holy.

To be made holy doesn’t mean that we are merely separated unto God, awaiting the Lord’s return. To be made holy means that we are partakers of God’s holy nature (2 Pet. 1:4) and we are being made holy in our very nature.

God sanctified us, He is sanctifying us, and He will bring us all the way into glory!

He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are both of one, for which cause He is not ashamed to call them: brothers.

We are now in the process of God’s holiness being wrought into us, and the God of peace is sanctifying us wholly (1 Thes. 5:23).

As He sanctifies us, our spirit and soul and body are preserved complete, without blame, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We are in the process of being soaked, saturated, united, mingled, and incorporated with God in our spirit, soul, and body! Amen!

We may be like some of the fish who are caught by the fishermen, and we may struggle very much, but the Lord has a way to bring us where He wants us to be, in the process of God’s sanctification.

Sometimes the Lord asks us to go somewhere and we run away, as Jonah did, but the Lord has a way to bring us where He wants us to be.

Now we are learning to live and serve as a minister of the new covenant by walking in newness of life and serving in newness of spirit as a labouring priest of the gospel of God in order to present the saved sinners to God as an acceptable offering sanctified in the Holy Spirit (Rom. 6:4; 7:6; 15:16).

Lord Jesus, we open to Your divine dispensing today. May we remain in the process of God’s holiness in all our Christian experience until we are made holy, even as God is holy! Amen, Lord, may the Spirit the Holy have a way to sanctify us in every part of our inner being. Work Yourself as God’s holy nature into our being to make us the holy city! Amen, Lord, we want to remain here, in this process of the divine sanctification. Keep us in the holding line in the carrying out of the divine economy! We want to remain in the process of God’s organic salvation as God moves to deify man! Hallelujah, God is working in Christ as the Spirit to make man God in life and nature but not in the Godhead! Amen, Lord, we simply open to Your divine dispensing today. We want to walk in newness of life and serve in newness of spirit today! May we be the labouring priests of the gospel of God to present sinners to God as an acceptable offering sanctified in the Holy Spirit! Amen!

The Goal of God’s Glory: the Ultimate Goal of the Dispensing of the Triune God is that God would be Expressed through the Body of Christ for His Glory in the Church!

The ultimate goal of God’s dispensing is that God would gain all the glory, that God would be glorified in us.

This doesn’t mean that we do great works in God’s name and then we say, To God be the glory in all these. Rather, glorification is something corporate, for God gains His glory in the church.

The ultimate goal of the dispensing of the Triune God is that God would be expressed through the Body of Christ for His glory in the church (Eph. 3:20-21; Rom. 8:19, 21, 28-30; 16:27).

God is after His glory in the church; this is God’s goal in His dispensing. The base is God’s righteousness, the process is God’s sanctification, and the goal is God’s glory.

The dispensing of the Triune God is according to His righteousness, through His holiness, and unto the goal of His glory. Amen!

We can liken these three to the three parts of the tabernacle in the Old Testament: the outer court corresponds to God’s righteousness, the Holy place corresponds to God’s holiness, and the Holy of Holies corresponds to God’s glory.

God wants us to enter all the way into the Holy of Holies to be one with God and express God. We are sinners not merely because we sin; we are sinners because we fall short of the glory of God.

But when we stand on the base of God’s righteousness and remain in the process of God’s holiness so that we may be sanctified, we will be identified with Christ, grafted into Christ, and one with Christ.

Sanctification implies the mingling of God with man, the divine nature with the human nature. After we are being sanctified, as the consummation of the lifelong process of the divine sanctification, we will be glorified.

The oneness in John 17 is the church; when the oneness is realised in a thorough way, by the full denial of the self, the Son glorifies the Father in the church (John 17:1, 21-23).

We have oneness in His life, we have oneness in His Word, and we have oneness in the divine glory.

But when we are in our natural life with our natural ability and our natural strength, we do not have oneness. Oh Lord! Wherever there is the proper church life, there is the glorification of the Father, for the church life expresses the Father.

For us to live and serve as ministers of the new covenant is to do all to the glory of God for the exaltation of Christ (Rom. 11:36; 1 Cor. 10:31; Phil. 1:20; 2 Cor. 4:5).

We are learning to serve the Lord in spirit and be ministers of the new covenant. We are doing all things to the glory of God so that Christ may be exalted. Amen!

The dispensing of the Triune God as life according to His righteousness, through His holiness, and unto His glory is for us to become the New Jerusalem with Christ as our solid foundation of righteousness, our pure constituent of holiness, and our radiant expression of glory (Rev. 21:2, 9-11). Amen!

God dispenses Himself in His Divine Trinity into us according to His righteousness, through His holiness, and unto His glory. As we remain in this process of divine sanctification, we are becoming the New Jerusalem to express God, even having Christ as our radiant expression of glory!

Eventually, the Spirit and the bride will be one loving pair for eternity (Rev. 22:17; 1 Cor. 6:17).

The processed and consummated God together with the bride, the processed and consummated church, are joined to become a loving pair of one entity in life for eternity.

Not only are we justified by faith to enjoy God’s dispensing based on His righteousness, and not only are we being sanctified to partake of God’s holiness and be made as holy as He is holy.

Even more, we are becoming part of God’s glorious expression! The church life today is the Triune God mingled with us, His chosen people.

God the Father as the source is embodied in Christ and realised as the Spirit, and we believers in Christ are justified, sanctified, glorified, and built together to form the tabernacle, the Body, the church. Hallelujah!

Praise the Lord, the ultimate goal of the dispensing of the Triune God is that God would be expressed through the Body of Christ for His glory in the church! Amen, Lord, gain Your glory in the church today! We come to You as we are, we deny the self in a full way, and we want to be one with You in Your life, in Your Word, and in Your glory! Lord Jesus, may we have a proper church life today for the glorification of the Father. May the church life we live today be for the expression of the Father in glory. We give ourselves to live and serve as a minister of the new covenant, doing all things to the glory of God for the exaltation of Christ. Amen, Lord, gain Your glory in Christ through the church! We exalt You, Lord! We let You be expressed through us! Praise the Lord, the dispensing of the Triune God as life according to His righteousness, through His holiness, and unto His glory is for us to become the New Jerusalem! Amen, in the New Jerusalem, Christ is our solid foundation of righteousness, our pure constituent of holiness, and our radiant expression of glory! Amen!
