We need God to Establish our Heart Blameless in Holiness, for our Heart is Changeable

November 11, 2025 by aGodMan 11 Comments

My heart is steadfast, O God; / My heart is steadfast. / I will sing, indeed I will sing psalms. Psa. 57:7

Because our heart is changeable, we need to allow God to establish our heart blameless in holiness, and we need to be renewed continually in our heart by the sanctifying Spirit so that our heart may be established and built up in a state of being holy. Amen, Lord, we turn our heart to You! […]

Our Heart is Deceitful and our Nature is Evil but God can write His Law of Life on us

September 2, 2020 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is incurable; who can know it? Jer. 17:9

In Jeremiah God exposes what we are in our fallen condition: our heart is deceitful above all things, even incurable, and our fallen nature is unchangeable. Just as the Cushite cannot change his skin nor the leopard his spots, so we who are accustomed to doing evil cannot simply change ourselves to do good. The […]

We Maintain the Newness of our Heart and Spirit by having a Repentant and Soft Heart

June 25, 2018 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

2 Cor. 4:16 Therefore we do not lose heart; but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day.

In considering what should our heart and spirit be in serving the Lord, we all need to have a new start to maintain the newness of our heart and our spirit, and we can do this by having a continual repentance in our fellowship with the Lord daily. In serving the Lord and particularly in […]

The Lord Gives us a New Heart to Love Him, a Soft and Pure Heart that Loves Him

April 26, 2017 by aGodMan 14 Comments

Lord Jesus, we love You! Nothing else and no one else deserves our heart. We love You with no reservation. We abandon ourselves wholly to You, and we love You absolutely! If ever we loved You, Lord, it is now!

According to Ezek. 36:26, for the inward recovery of His people God gives them a new heart and a new spirit; in His organic salvation God revives us, renews our heart, and gives us a heart to love Him, and He gives us a new spirit to receive and contact Him. On the negative side, as […]

Only God is NEW; God Wrought into us Makes us NEW until We’re Becoming NEW Jerusalem

June 23, 2014 by aGodMan 1 Comment

Revelation 21:2 And I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. [Recovery Version]

Why is the holy city in Rev. 22:1 called, the New Jerusalem? Why is it not called “the eternal Jerusalem” or “the Jerusalem of God”? There is an intrinsic significance to the name of “new Jerusalem” and we need to see it and enter into its reality today. The intrinsic significance of the name “new […]

Allowing the Indwelling Christ to Make His Home in Our Heart and Feel at Home in us

August 2, 2013 by aGodMan 1 Comment

Allowing the Indwelling Christ to Make His Home in Our Heart and Feel at Home in us. Lord, make Your home in my heart!

The highest point and the most profound aspect of Christ dwelling in us is found in Eph. 3:16 – Christ making His home in our heart. Why does God want to dwell in man? The desire of God’s heart is to have a house, a habitation, a dwelling place, and for this He comes to […]
