Releasing our Spirit to Minister Life to others in our Service in the Church

October 5, 2022 by aGodMan 11 Comments

So then death operates in us, but life in you. 2 Cor. 4:12

We need to learn to release our spirit to minister life to others in our service in the church life. The service in the church life is a life-ministering service, a service of supplying others with the divine life by the release of our spirit, where the divine life resides, dwells, and grows. Amen, […]

Our Service in the Church should Minister Life to Others to Supply them with Life

July 18, 2016 by aGodMan 2 Comments

The church service is to supply life, for it is a service of life. If we merely handle business affairs or manage matters but do not supply others with the life of God, our service is a failure and is vain. No matter what our service may be, we should be clear that our service is a means to supply life to others (1 John 5:16; 2 Cor. 4:12). Witness Lee

Our service for the building up of the church is a life-ministering service, a service that ministers life to the saints. We have seen that we need to serve God by knowing the age, by realizing the way Christ fulfills His economy, by seeing the world situation as the indicator of the Lord’s move, and […]

All our Service in the Church must be Initiated by God According to His Desire

June 21, 2016 by aGodMan 3 Comments

Anything that is initiated or started by man, regardless of how much it is for God, is a religious activity (Gal. 1:13-16). In God’s eyes this kind of activity is not His service or His work. In all our service we should have a regard for God and fear God; we should be fearful that what we are doing for God is not initiated by God but by ourselves. Witness Lee

In serving God we need to take Him as the source of all our service: God has to be the originator, initiator, operator, motivator, and source of our service; our service should be initiated by God. As believers in Christ we are sons of Abraham, who is the father of faith; like our father, we […]
