Abide in the Lord and Pray in Fellowship of Eternal Life to Minister Life to Others

August 3, 2026 by aGodMan 12 Comments

If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin not unto death, he shall ask and he will give life to him... 1 John 5:16

We believers in Christ not only have eternal life and enjoy it, but also we can minister this life to other members of the Body, as seen in 1 John 5:14-17, for when we abide in the Lord and are one with Him to pray in the fellowship of eternal life, we can ask and […]

Pray ourselves into God to be Filled with the Spirit and Flow out the Spirit to others

Who has also made us sufficient as ministers of a new covenant, ministers not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. 2 Cor. 3:6

As those who are learning to be faithful and prudent slaves feeding the Lord’s folks until He comes, we need to be sons of fresh oil who are continually being filled with Spirit and flow out the Spirit for the shining of the lampstand, the testimony of Jesus! Amen! In Matt. 24 the Lord […]

Being One with the Lord to Minister Life to others by our Life-giving Petition

August 1, 2016 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

Many saints are not sick physically, but they are sick spiritually. They need us to pray for them and to give them life. We all need to be trained and to practice to take care of the weaker ones who are short of life and sick spiritually. In the churches it is often the case that death, rather than life, spreads from mouth to mouth. Therefore, there is the need of some stronger ones to minister life to stop the spread of death and to swallow up death. This is the main purpose of the service in the church. Witness Lee

The matter of the increase of Christ for the building up of the church is something very particular, touching on God’s heart’s desire to dispense Himself into man so that He may obtain a corporate expression. The increase of Christ is in us, the church, and the increase and spread of the church is the […]

Our Service in the Church should Minister Life to Others to Supply them with Life

July 18, 2016 by aGodMan 2 Comments

The church service is to supply life, for it is a service of life. If we merely handle business affairs or manage matters but do not supply others with the life of God, our service is a failure and is vain. No matter what our service may be, we should be clear that our service is a means to supply life to others (1 John 5:16; 2 Cor. 4:12). Witness Lee

Our service for the building up of the church is a life-ministering service, a service that ministers life to the saints. We have seen that we need to serve God by knowing the age, by realizing the way Christ fulfills His economy, by seeing the world situation as the indicator of the Lord’s move, and […]

Fighting for the Brother by Praying for Him to Rescue Him and Give Life to Him

Lot made his choice to separate from Abraham and move his tent close to Sodom, even moving into the city of Sodom. When the four kings came and defeated the five kings of the plain, Lot was also taken captive with all his family and his possessions. When Abraham heard this, he could have been […]

The Tree of Life in the Bible: its Identity, Enjoyment, Operation, and Ministry

August 28, 2013 by aGodMan 1 Comment

The Tree of Life in the Bible: its Identity, Enjoyment, Operation, and Ministry. Christ is the Tree of Life!

The way God fulfills His purpose of having a corporate man to express Him and represent Him is by His life. As seen in Gen. 1-2 and Rev. 21-22, there are four organic items mentioned, which are the procedure God takes to fulfill His purpose: the tree of life, the river of water of life, […]
