What does it mean in our Experience for us to be Measured by God’s Building?

October 12, 2017 by aGodMan 9 Comments

If what we are and what we do cannot match God’s building, it amounts to nothing in the sight of God.

Our main concern as believers in Christ and members of the Body of Christ should be not with behaving ourselves or becoming spiritual but with being measured by God’s building and fitting into God’s house. If what we are and do can’t match God’s building, it amounts to nothing in the sight of God. As […]

Dropping any Routine and Learning to be Revived by Touching the Lord in the Morning

August 17, 2017 by Guest God-man Blogger Leave a Comment

We need to view our morning time as an intimate conversation with our Lord. Then we will have the proper attitude in coming to Him in the morning, not to get something done, but just to enjoy Him.

I would like to talk share about my experience of being revived by the Lord day by day. For many years, I would only felt really “revived” after going to a big conference or hearing a living message. But this “feeling” of buoyancy only lasted for a few days, and then I would be back […]

We have a New Spirit, and we need to Constantly Exercise our Spirit to Contact God

April 27, 2017 by aGodMan 8 Comments

2 Tim. 1:6-7 For which cause I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God....For God has not given us a spirit of cowardice, but of power and of love and of sobermindedness.

How we thank and praise the Lord for giving us a new heart to love Him and a new spirit to receive Him, so that we may be inwardly recovered by Him! Now we can exercise our heart to love the Lord and enjoy Him, and we can exercise our spirit to contact God. In […]

5 Main Ways to Enjoy the Humanity of Jesus in our Christian Life and Church Life

July 2, 2016 by aGodMan 2 Comments

We must pray for the entire situation of the Lord’s recovery so that all the brothers and sisters in the local churches may have a full enjoyment of the humanity of Jesus. Witness Lee

As believers in Christ, our emphasis in our Christian life and service is not on outward things such as eating, drinking, behavior, or anything of this kind; our emphasis is on Christ, our mingled spirit, the church life, and the Body of Christ. If we pay attention to the intrinsic things such as enjoying the […]

Daily Drinking the Humanity of Jesus to be Jesusly Human in the World for the Church

July 1, 2016 by aGodMan 1 Comment

We must enjoy the Spirit of the humanity of Jesus for the church service, for our daily walk, and for the Lord’s recovery. The believers are the salt of the earth, those who kill and eliminate the earth’s germs of corruption and rottenness; the basic element of the salt is the humanity of Jesus. The believers are the light of the world, those who let their light shine before men to dispel the world’s darkness; we can be the light only by taking the humanity of Jesus. Witness Lee

It will make a great difference in our Christian life and work when we realize that the humanity we should have – the humanity of Jesus – can be ours only by eating and drinking the humanity of Jesus in the Spirit. Too many Christians have endeavoured to “imitate Jesus” and to “live like Jesus” […]

qualifications of a genuine church: the church of God enjoying grace upon grace!

February 14, 2012 by aGodMan 3 Comments

One particular aspect I was encouraged with is that a genuine church accepts and welcomes everyone who calls on the name of the Lord – who is THEIRS and OURS! Jesus Christ belongs to and is in all the believers, and He is our all-inclusive portion – we are those who call on the name of the Lord in every place! Oh, Lord Jesus! We flee youthful lusts and pursue with those who call on the name of the Lord out of a pure heart (2 Tim. 2:22). Wherever we are – at home, at work, cooking in the kitchen, walking on the street, shopping, driving, traveling, resting, working, playing sports, jogging, etc – we CALL on the name of the Lord, who is OURS! God’s economical Spirit of power is for us to receive to preach the gospel (2011 WST)

January 15, 2012 by Christian Student 4 Comments

Praise the Lord that when we feel weak or powerless, we can call on the Lord’s name and have this Spirit to strengthen our inner man so that we can preach the gospel! Without being in spirit, we cannot preach the gospel because we would be doing this in our self, not in the spirit. Thus, we need to call upon His name and have Him flow into us whenever we want to prophesy, preach the gospel, or to even talk! [sharing from the Winter School of Truth from a young brother]
