God Wants only our Cooperation: we need to Stop Ourselves and Let God Speak and Work

June 22, 2016 by aGodMan 1 Comment

The unique prerequisite for receiving God’s revelation is, by dying, to stop our speaking, our opinion, our view, and our self (Gal. 2:20). In the matter of serving God, we must stop ourselves in order to give God the absolute opportunity to speak (Ezek. 1:25). Witness Lee

The Bible doesn’t give us a specific list of things we should do when serving God, but throughout the Bible we see a few important principles which we need to apply to our daily life for our cooperation with Him. One of these principles is that all our work and service in the church must […]

All our Service in the Church must be Initiated by God According to His Desire

June 21, 2016 by aGodMan 3 Comments

Anything that is initiated or started by man, regardless of how much it is for God, is a religious activity (Gal. 1:13-16). In God’s eyes this kind of activity is not His service or His work. In all our service we should have a regard for God and fear God; we should be fearful that what we are doing for God is not initiated by God but by ourselves. Witness Lee

In serving God we need to take Him as the source of all our service: God has to be the originator, initiator, operator, motivator, and source of our service; our service should be initiated by God. As believers in Christ we are sons of Abraham, who is the father of faith; like our father, we […]

God the Father is the only Originator and the Holy Spirit is the only Initiator

June 20, 2016 by aGodMan 1 Comment

God the Father is the only legitimate Originator in the universe, and His Holy Spirit is the only legitimate Initiator in our hearts (Gen. 1:1; Acts 13:2, 4). God must be the Originator of all spiritual work, and His will must govern the beginnings of all our service (Matt. 7:21-23). 2016 Spring ITERO, msg. 4

As believers in Christ we are saved by God and now we all serve Him; however, we need to be careful how we serve Him so that our service to Him would be pleasing and rewarded by Him. There are two kinds of service: the service for the building up of the church, and the […]

Our Work for the Lord in the Gospel is by the Lord’s Resurrection Life and Power

June 18, 2016 by aGodMan 1 Comment

When we do not live by our natural life but live by the divine life within us, we are in resurrection; the issue of this is the reality of the Body of Christ as the goal of the gospel of God (Phil. 3:10-11; Eph. 1:22-23). 2016 Spring ITERO, msg. 3

What does it mean to serve God in our spirit in the gospel of His Son (Rom. 1:9)? Much of the service rendered to God today by His people is outwardly good, great, and even wonderful, but do the Lord’s believers serve Him in their spirit in the gospel of His Son? First of all, […]

Not Bringing Anything of our Natural Life or the Flesh in our Service to God

June 17, 2016 by aGodMan 1 Comment

Matt. 3:13-15 Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to John to be baptized by him. But John tried to prevent Him....But Jesus answered and said to him, Permit it for now, for it is fitting for us in this way to fulfill all righteousness. Then he permitted Him.

As believers in Christ, we have turned to God from the idols to serve a living and true God (1 Thes. 1:9), and our God is living to us and in us in all the details of our daily living. Now we live under the control, direction, and correction of a living God – and […]

Exercising our Spirit to Learn, Experience, and Minister the Full Gospel of God

June 15, 2016 by aGodMan 3 Comments

Rom. 15:16 That I might be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, a laboring priest of the gospel of God, in order that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, having been sanctified in the Holy Spirit.

As believers in Christ, we need to have the same realisation as the Apostle Paul: we were separated unto the gospel of God, and now we are priests of the gospel. The gospel of God is an all-inclusive, complete, full, and high gospel including the entire divine revelation in the New Testament, and when we […]

Spreading the Truths of the Lord’s Recovery is a Preparation for the Lord’s Return

June 11, 2016 by aGodMan 1 Comment

We are not preaching a partial gospel but the full gospel that encompasses everything from Matthew through Revelation — the gospel of God’s eternal economy to dispense Himself in Christ as the Spirit into His chosen ones through His judicial redemption and by His organic salvation for the building up of His Body in the local churches to consummate the New Jerusalem as His bride, His wife, for His eternal expression (1 Tim. 1:3-4; Rom. 1:1; 5:10; Rev. 1:10-11; 21:2-3, 9-11; 22:1-2). Witness Lee

As believers in Christ we are those who serve God first by knowing the age, then by realizing the way Christ fulfills His economy, by seeing the world situation as the indicator of the Lord’s move, and by spreading the truths of the Lord’s recovery for His coming back. We need to serve God in […]
