We Baptize People into the Triune God to bring them into an Organic Union with Him

Go therefore and disciple all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Matt. 28:19

As believers in Christ, we are commissioned by the Lord to disciple the nations by baptizing them into the name of the Triune God, that is, to baptize people into the processed Triune God by baptizing them into Him, into Christ (Matt. 28:19). Hallelujah!

The book of Matthew is quite amazing in the illustrations it gives to show us how the Divine Trinity works together to dispense Himself into man so that man would become part of God’s corporate expression.

Christ, the Son of God, did not do anything apart from the Father or the Spirit; rather, the Son cast out the demons by the Spirit of God for the kingdom of God to come in.

He could have done this and that in and of Himself and we would not have noticed, but Christ will not just do things in Himself apart from the Father and the Spirit, and the Triune God always works together to reach man and gain man.

When Christ was conceived and born, it was of the Holy Spirit and His name was Emmanuel, God (the Father) with us.

When Christ was baptized at the start of His earthly ministry, the Son was standing in the water, the Father spoke from the open heavens, and the Spirit descended upon the Son.

When the Son taught us how to pray, the main burden of the prayer was that the Triune God would be prevailing on earth as He is in heaven.

When the Son cast out demons, He did this by the Spirit of God and for the kingdom of God to come in.

We need to learn from the divine coordination in the Divine Trinity to not do things in ourselves, for ourselves, or by ourselves, but in the Body, for the Body, and by the Body.

We are members of the Body, and we follow the pattern of the Triune God to coordinate with the saints by exercising our spirit, taking up the cross and allowing the cross to deal with us, and seeking to minister Christ to others for the building up of the Body.

Amen, may the Lord gain such a sweet coordination among us in the church life!

May the Lord gain us – brothers and sisters in the Lord who live in the genuine church life – to live in the reality of the Body of Christ on earth today, a life under the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity!

May we have the experience of having fellowship and coordination with one another not only to carry out the will of God but also to do it in the principle of the Body, for the building up of the Body!

We are Commissioned to Baptize People into the Triune God to bring them into an Organic Union with Him

For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Gal. 3:27 And when they heard [this,] they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus. Acts 19:5

A well-known verse that shows us the Divine Trinity is Matt. 28:19, where the Lord, after His resurrection and before His ascension, commissioned the disciples to go and disciple all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

There is one name but there are three persons; there is one name for the Divine Trinity, and this name is the sum total of the Divine Being, equivalent to His person.

For us to baptize people into the Triune God is to immerse them into all that the Triune God is.

We have been commissioned by the Lord Jesus to baptize people into the Triune God; by baptizing them into the Triune God, we bring them into an organic union with the Lord.

When the Lord charged His disciples to go and disciple all the nations baptizing them into the Triune God, He had already passed through a process and was consummated and completed.

The Divine Trinity in His Divine Being is absolutely perfect and complete, but in His economy, He passed through a process.

We have been buried therefore with Him through baptism into His death, in order that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so also we might walk in newness of life. Rom. 6:4 For also in one Spirit we were all baptized into one Body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and were all given to drink one Spirit. 1 Cor. 12:13First, God became a man; the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us (John 1:14).

God picked up humanity; in eternity, He was only God, but when He stepped in time and was born of Mary, God put on humanity.

Then, the Triune God passed through human living and a beautiful, all-inclusive death. Human death is terrible and ugly, but the death of Christ is lovable and dear.

The Triune God passed through death and entered into resurrection to become a life-giving Spirit (1 Cor. 15:45).

In this Spirit all that Christ is, has, and has passed through, all this is compounded and mingled. In the all-inclusive, life-giving, compound Spirit we have the Triune God, the divine life, the divine nature, the human life, the human nature, the perfect human living, Christ’s wonderful and all-terminating death, and Christ’s death-overcoming resurrection.

In this all-inclusive “dose” there are many elements that supply us in a positive way, and there is also the element of Christ’s death which eliminates the negative things in us.

When we are baptized into the Triune God, we are brought into an intimate, organic, spiritual and mystical union with Him, and in this union, we enjoy and partake of the processed and consummated Triune God as the Spirit.

When we partake of Him, the element of His death deals with our natural man, our flesh, and our self, and all the positive elements in this dose work in us to supply us and uplift our humanity and living.

The death of Christ in the all-inclusive Spirit deals with and take away all the negative germs and things in our being, and the resurrection life in the Spirit resurrects and uplifts our human virtues to fill them with the life of God. Praise the Lord!

After Christ passed through the process of crucifixion, He entered into resurrection and became a life-giving Spirit, and He came to His disciples to charge them to make the nations the kingdom people by baptizing them into the Triune God.

We have been commissioned to baptize people into the Triune God; we are charged by the Lord to baptize people into the name, the person, the reality, of the Divine Trinity.

The Divine Trinity is now completed, consummated, and we can baptize people into the Triune God.

We need to not only preach the gospel and get people saved but also disciple them by baptizing them into the Triune God.

We go to disciple the nations, baptizing them. The word disciple is a strong word. A number of messages would be needed to explain this word thoroughly. The disciples were to disciple the unbelieving nations by baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. This means that discipling includes baptizing. We have to disciple people by baptizing them, putting them into a person, the Triune God. When they get into this person, they are discipled. We should not preach the gospel to people without baptizing them. That is not scriptural. We should baptize people immediately after they have believed in the Lord. To disciple them by baptizing them is to make them the very citizens of the kingdom of the heavens. If we do not put them into the Triune God, we cannot bring them into the kingdom of God. We must put them into God Himself. Then we place them into the kingdom of God. Living In and With the Divine Trinity, Chapter 5, by Witness Lee The Lord’s desire is that we would put the people who received our preaching of the gospel into the Triune God. Amen!

Christ’s being the center of the processed Triune God is for the disciples to baptize people into the processed Triune God by baptizing them into Him (Acts 8:16; 19:5; Gal. 3:27; Rom. 6:3-4; 1 Cor. 12:13).

When we baptize people into the Triune God, we bring them into an organic, spiritual, and mystical union with Him.

Actually, all that we do in relation to people, whether we preach the gospel, shepherd them, care for them, visit them, etc is so that we bring them into an organic union with the Triune God, that is, so that we put them by faith into the Divine Trinity.

Being baptized is not a form or ritual for one to be part of the church; rather, it is to baptize people into the Triune God to bring them into an organic union with Him.

Our work for the Lord is according to the Lord’s commission to disciple the nations, and it cannot be divorced from the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity.

We are here not only to enjoy the divine dispensing but also to help others to enter into the experience and enjoyment of the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity! This is our commission today.

Thank You, Lord, for passing through a process to become the completed and consummated Triune God into whom we can be baptized! Hallelujah, we believers in Christ are brought into an organic, spiritual, and intimate union with the Triune God by being baptized into the Triune God! Amen, Lord, we love to be here under the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity, and we love to bring others also into this organic union with the Lord! Wow, we believers in Christ can cooperate with our ascended Lord to preach the gospel, help people get saved, and baptize people into the Triune God so that they may enter into an organic, spiritual, and mystical union with Him! Amen, Lord, make us such ones who do such a work!

Praying that the Spirit of Reality would Guide us into the Reality of the Divine Economy and we would Live in and with the Divine Trinity Today

But when He, the Spirit of reality, comes, He will guide you into all the reality; for He will not speak from Himself, but what He hears He will speak; and He will declare to you the things that are coming. John 16:13 Abide in Me and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither [can] you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing. John 15:4-5What should we as believers in Christ do and say as we see the desire of God’s heart to dispense Himself in His Divine Trinity into us, and how He works and moves in His Divine Trinity to work Himself into us?

We simply need to pray that the Spirit of reality would guide us into all the reality of the divine economy with the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity in the divine move and in our experience (John 16:13; 15:4-5).

The Spirit of reality is in us, mingled with our spirit, and He is in us to guide us into all the reality of what God is, has, has accomplished, has done, and is constantly doing.

We need to be those who live in and with the Divine Trinity, having Him as the very substance and element of our living.

The Spirit of reality is willing and ready to guide us into all the reality; in particular, the Spirit wants to guide us in the reality of the divine economy with the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity.

May we be those who pray and open to the Lord, asking Him to come in as the Spirit of reality to guide us into and bring us fully under the divine dispensing, so that we may live in and with the Divine Trinity today.

This is what Paul did in Ephesians 1 and 3. In Eph. 1 Paul prayed that our inner eyes would be open and we would have a spirit of wisdom and revelation to see the divine move of the Divine Trinity.

We need to pray to be filled with a spirit of wisdom and revelation to see all the processes of this Christ and His move, and how He produces the church, the fullness of the One who fills all in all.

In Eph. 3 Paul prayed another prayer, also structured with the Divine Trinity; he prayed to the Father to strengthen us through His Spirit into the inner man so that Christ may make His home in our heart, so that we can apprehend the rich dimensions of this all-inclusive Christ.

This is a prayer for our experience of the Divine Trinity in our daily living.

We need to pray not only for a spirit of wisdom and revelation but also for the experience of the Divine Trinity in our daily life, so that Christ may make His home in our heart as the Father strengthens us through His Spirit into the inner man, with the result that we become the fullness of God.

We need both of these prayers today – we need both to see the move of the Divine Trinity and to experience the Divine Trinity in His divine dispensing.

On one hand, we are commissioned by the resurrected and ascended Christ to baptize people into the Triune God.

On the other hand, we need to pray for the Spirit of reality to guide us into all the reality of this wonderful Christ, and so that we may experience the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity in our daily life.

Lord Jesus, guide us as the Spirit of reality into all the reality of the divine economy with the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity! Amen, Lord, we open to Your inner guiding and leading as the Spirit of reality so that we may know and enjoy the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity in our experience. Lord, grant us to have a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the full knowledge of Christ so that we may see and enjoy all that God in Christ as the Spirit has done, is doing, and will do. Amen, Father, strengthen us into our inner man through the Spirit so that Christ may make His home in our heart for us to apprehend with all the saints what the universally vast dimensions of the all-inclusive Christ are! Amen, Lord, grant us to see and enter into the experience of the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity in our daily living!
