Seeing that Christ was Crowned with Glory and Honor and was Enthroned in His Ascension

Looking away unto Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who...has sat down on the right hand of the throne of God. Heb. 12:2

We need to see the objective aspect of the Lord’s ascension – in His ascension, He was crowned with glory and honour, and He was enthroned for God’s administration. Hallelujah!

This week we come to a new topic in our morning revival in the series of labouring on the all-inclusive Christ; the topic this week is, Knowing the Ascension.

For us to enter into the enjoyment and experience of the all-inclusive Christ, we need to know the ascension.

The entire Bible is a divine romance between God and man; God comes to court us and woo us, and He went through a long process in order to become a life-giving Spirit to come into us and regenerate us with His life to make us children of God.

Now as believers in Christ, we can enjoy and experience Christ in His all-inclusiveness. One aspect of Christ’s all-inclusiveness is ascension.

In Song of Songs 4:8, the Beloved tells His beloved to come with Him from Lebanon and look from the top of Amana, from the top of Senir in Hermon, from the top of the lion’s dens, from the top of the leopard’s mountains.

There’s a call here for us as believers in Christ to enter into ascension and experience Christ in His ascension.

Christ today is in ascension, and He is calling us to be where He is; if we are to enjoy the all-inclusive Christ, we need to realize He’s not only in resurrection but even more, He’s in ascension.

We need to go where He is, even be one with Him where He is, so that we may enjoy all that He is to us and in us.

Christ’s resurrection was not the stopping point or destination of His process; He went all the way into ascension to be crowned with glory and honour, and there He was enthroned for God’s administration.

And He is calling us to Himself so that, where He is, we would also be. We need to arrive at the peaks in ascension, to Amana and Senir. Amana means truth; when we’re in ascension, we are gazing at truth in divine reality.

Senir means soft armour, which means that the enemy has been defeated, and now we simply need to remain in His victory, wearing a soft armour for the display of His victory.

Hermon means destruction; it refers to the destruction of the enemy.

From there, from ascension one with Christ, we see the lion’s dens and leopards’ mountains.

Eph. 2:6 says that we’re seated with Christ in the heavenlies; we are now seated with Him where He is, and whenever we turn to our spirit and remain in our spirit, we’re in the heavenlies seated with Him. Hallelujah!

From here, from ascension, we see the enemies, we have a clear view of them, and we will know how to engage in spiritual warfare with them based upon Christ’s victory. Hallelujah!

May we all be brought on with the Lord until we know the ascension and are one with Christ in His ascension in our experience day by day.

The Lord’s Ascension caused Him to be Crowned with Glory and Honor

But we see Jesus, who was made a little inferior to the angels because of the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor, so that by the grace of God He might taste death on behalf of everything. Heb. 2:9After His resurrection, Christ ascended to the heavens, and He was crowned with glory and honour.

We need to see the objective aspect of the Lord’s ascension and be impressed with His accomplishments in His ascension.

The Man-Savior’s ascension was His inauguration into His heavenly office through the process of creation, incarnation, human living, crucifixion, and resurrection.

He went through a long process including the creation of all things, the incarnation of God into man, the perfect human living of Jesus, Christ’s crucifixion, and His resurrection, in order to enter into ascension.

In His ascension, Christ was inaugurated into His heavenly office as God and man, as the Creator and the creature, and as the Redeemer, the Savior, and the life-giving Spirit, to execute God’s administration and to carry out God’s New Testament economy.

All this happened in His ascension.

If we want to understand and properly appreciate Christ’s ascension, we need to see that it was His inauguration into His heavenly office.

Just as a president, after he is elected, goes through a process to be inaugurated into his office, so Christ, after He went through a long process, was inaugurated into His heavenly office.

In the objective aspect, the Lord’s ascension caused Him to be crowned with glory and honour (Heb. 2:9) and to be enthroned for God’s administration (12:2) and made Him the Lord to possess all and the Christ to carry out God’s commission. Hallelujah!

We need to see what happened in the heavenlies at the time of the Lord’s ascension.

When we see where He is, what He has accomplished, and what He has attained to, we will be filled with appreciation for Him, and we will realize that we are one with Him, even joined to Him in spirit.

On one hand, He is the heavenlies carrying out His heavenly ministry, and on the other hand, He is very subjectively in our spirit dispensing all He is to us and ministering to us for the carrying out of God’s eternal economy.

To you therefore who believe is the preciousness; but to the unbelieving, "The stone which the builders rejected, this has become the head of the corner." 1 Pet. 2:7 For He received from God the Father honor and glory, a voice such as this being borne to Him by the magnificent glory: This is My Son, My Beloved, in whom I delight. 2 Pet. 1:17He is now carrying out His heavenly ministry, praying for us non-stop, caring for us, and shepherding us.

This God-man Jesus Christ went through a long process in order to enter into His ascension.

He was made a little inferior to the angels because of the suffering of death, but He was crowned with glory and honor in His ascension (Heb. 2:9). Hallelujah!

Glory and honour are considered a crown; glory is the splendour related to the Lord’s person, and honour is the preciousness related to Jesus’ worth (1 Pet. 2:7).

The Lord’s dignity is related to His position (2 Pet. 1:17).

Christ is the ascended One crowned with glory and honour.

After going through the process of incarnation, human living, crucifixion, and resurrection, Christ was ascended and crowned with glory and honour.

Now Christ is in a state of glory and has a rank of honor.

He is above all and over all, and everything and everyone is under His feet.

To this One we are joined in spirit, and we are one with Him in His ascension. Hallelujah!

From Him as our ascended Head there is a transmission going on to us as the church, and we can share into all that He has attained to to be one with Him. Praise the Lord!

Lord Jesus, we praise You for Your ascension! Hallelujah, in His ascension the Lord Jesus was inaugurated into His heavenly office through the process of creation, incarnation, human living, crucifixion, and resurrection! Praise the Lord Jesus Christ, our ascended Head, who is not only God but also man, not only the Creator but also the creature! Hallelujah for Christ as our Redeemer, our Savior, and our life-giving Spirit! Amen, Lord, grant us to see a vision of what You have attained to and what You have obtained in Your ascension! We praise You for being crowned with glory and honor in Your ascension! What a Christ we have! His person is full of glory and splendour! His worth is full of preciousness, and He is full of honor! We praise You, Lord Jesus Christ! You are glorious in state and honourable in rank! You are above all kings and rulers! Praise the Lord!

The Lord’s Ascension Caused Him to be Enthroned for God’s Administration

Looking away unto Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down on the right hand of the throne of God. Heb. 12:2 And he showed me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb in the middle of its street. Rev. 22:1 He who overcomes, to him I will give to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat with My Father on His throne. Rev. 3:21Heb. 12:2 is a very encouraging and significant verse; on one hand, this verse encourages us to look away from anything else unto Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, and on the other hand, it tells us who this Christ is.

For the joy set before Him, Christ endured the cross, despised the shame, and has set down on the right hand of the throne of God. Hallelujah!

This is a wonderful, even glorious, aspect of Christ’s ascension. In His ascension, Christ has been enthroned for God’s administration.

Christ is now on the throne of God, seated above all, ruling over all things, and carrying out God’s administration.

May the Lord shine on us and cause us to realize that right now Christ is on the throne.

Rev. 3:21 says that the Lord sat down with His Father on His throne.

This may give us the impression that God is on the throne, and there may be another throne next to Him for Christ to also sit.

But this is not the right interpretation.

Rev. 22:3 says concerning the holy city, New Jerusalem, that it has the throne of God and of the Lamb.

Rev. 22:1 and 3 do not speak of thrones – one throne for God and another for the Lamb – but of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

There’s one throne, and God and the Lamb are on it.

Rev. 21:23 further says that the city has no need of the sun or of the moon that they should shine in it, for the glory of God illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb.

Here we see that the Lamb, Christ, as the lamp shines out with God as the light to illumine the city with the glory of God.

In other words, God and Christ are on the throne, just as the light is in the lamp and is expressed through the lamp to all those around it. Wow!

The fact that God in Christ is sitting on the throne means that God administrates the entire universe from within Christ and through Christ, just as the light shines from within the lamp and through the lamp.

Christ is now on the throne to administrate the entire universe.

Christ is the unique Administrator, the King of kings and the Lord of lords, and He is the Ruler of the kings of the earth (Rev. 1:5; 17:14; 19:16).

God is in Christ, sitting on the throne, and God rules through Christ and from within Christ over all things. Hallelujah!

He is administrating the universe and all things are under His control. The presidents and rulers of the nations, the mayors and CEOs, and everyone in authority are under His control.

He administrates over the prime minister of England and the president of the United States.

He does it in His ascension, where He was crowned with glory and honour and was enthroned to carry out God’s administration.

And from Jesus Christ, the faithful Witness, the Firstborn of the dead, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and has released us from our sins by His blood. Rev. 1:5 These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and they who are with Him, the called and chosen and faithful, [will also overcome them.] Rev. 17:14 And He has on His garment and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. Rev. 19:16He does it by us being joined to Him in spirit and uttering the prayers that He needs to do what He wants to do.

Christ’s administrating is related to the universe, but His carrying out of God’s New Testament economy is to propagate Himself for His reproduction to build up the church, His Body, which will issue in the New Jerusalem (Acts 5:31).

On one hand, Christ in ascension is administrating the entire universe for God’s purpose; on the other hand, He is propagating Himself to be reproduced in us and in many believers in Christ for Him to gain His Body for His increase. Amen!

May we consider the Lord’s ascension in a prayerful way to see that the enthronement of the Man-Savior Jesus Christ involves the Divine Trinity, and may we give Him the praise and honour He deserves.

May we as the many members of the Body of Christ take Him as our ascended and enthroned Head, and may we hold to Him, be one with Him, and pray in Him and with Him to release His will on the earth and carry out His administration in this universe.

We may think that it is the hate of a certain group of people that caused the war in Israel and the unrest in the Middle East, but the Lord is the One who is carrying out what is on His heart.

He is on the throne; He administrates the entire universe.

He is in control, He rules over all things, and He will carry out what is in His heart concerning His people for the carrying out of God’s administration in the universe!

Lord Jesus, we praise You for being enthroned for God’s administration in Your ascension! Hallelujah, Christ is now seated on the right hand of the throne of God! Amen, Lord, we praise You for Your ascension. You are now on the throne of God, and God administrates the entire universe from within Christ and through Christ! Wow, Lord, just as the light shines from within the lamp and through the lamp, so God rules and reigns in Christ and through Christ! Amen, Lord, we enthrone You in our being. You are on the throne to administrate the entire universe You are the unique Administrator, the King of kings and the Lord of lords! Praise the Lord, Jesus Christ is Lord and king, the Ruler of the kings of the earth! Your administration is related to the universe and Your carrying out of God’s New Testament economy is related to the church as the Body of Christ! Praise the Lord Jesus Christ, our ascended Head!

Revelation 21:23 says, “The city has no need of the sun or of the moon that they should shine in it, for the glory of God illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb.”

Here we see that the Lamb, Christ, as the lamp shines with God as the light to illumine the city with the glory of God, the expression of the divine light. Christ, the Lamb, is the lamp, and God is the light within the lamp.

Because the light is in the lamp, the light cannot be separated from the lamp. We can see from this how both God and Christ are sitting on one throne.

Just as the light is in the lamp, so God is in Christ. Since God is in Christ sitting on the throne, both God and Christ sit on one throne in the heavens.

God administrates the entire universe from within Christ and through Christ, just as the light shines from within the lamp and through the lamp. From this we can see that Christ is enthroned with God.

God is on the throne, and this very God is in the enthroned Man-Savior. As we consider this, we see that the enthronement of the Man-Savior involves the Divine Trinity.

How Christ and God are one in the New Jerusalem?

Christ, the Lamb, is the lamp, and God is the light within the lamp.

Amen brother yes, oh what a glorious accomplishment. Christ glorified in the Heavenly’s which was accomplished through His accession; it began with creation, went through process of incarceration, human living, crucifixion, and resurrection finally ending in His inauguration as the King above kings and the ruler of rulers, He is crowned in glory and honour. Enthroned for God’s administration.

I also enjoyed that Christ, the lamb, is the lamp, and God is the light within the lamp. Meaning the two cannot be separated because the light is in, the lamp.

Praise the Lord for such a revelation. Hallelujah for our King crowned in glory and honour.

*Glory is the splendor related to Jesus’ person; honor is the preciousness related to Jesus’ worth, value, and dignity, which is related to His position (2 Pet. 1:17; cf. 1 Pet. 2:17; Rom. 13:7). In 1 Pet. 2:7 the Greek word for preciousness is the same as that for honor here.

*The Lord Jesus’ redemption was accomplished, not only for people, but, for everything created by God. Thus, God can reconcile all things to Himself through Christ (Col. 1:20). This is clearly typified, by the redemption accomplished through Noah’s ark, in which, not only eight persons; but, all living things created by God were saved (Gen. 7:13-23).

Dear brother, the Jesus we see today and one to whom we look away unto is the one whom God made both Lord and Christ, through whom and within whom He administrates the entire universe.

It was through the processes of incarnation, human living, death and resurrection that God the Creator, became a God-man to redeem us and save us to enter into us the Life giving Spirit to reproduce Himself in us!

Praise the Lord that such a one, sitting at the right of the throne of God, was crowned with glory and splendour to be the Lord of Lords and King of Kings to be the ruler of the kings of the earth, for the administration and propagation of God’s New Testament economy to bring forth the church as the Body of Christ, to issue in the New Jerusalem!

Hallelujah! Amen! O Lord we need to know You in ascension as the One who is far above all!

Yes, He is now in His heavenly ministry sitting at the right hand side of God. This doesn’t mean that there are two thrones, but Jesus is the expression of God as the light in the lamp. Because Christ, the lamp, is the lamb. Therefore both are (The Triune God) sitting on one throne in heaven.

Another revelation in this morning revival is the right expression of glory and honor, which are:

Glory is for His human part to reborn in the power of resurrection as the first fruit of God from the dead so that He can present Himself as a perfect God-man,

First fruit. Whereas honor is for the worth of Jesus Christ due to His passing through all sufferings on this spoiled earth by sin.

The good thing is that both, glory and honor, are for His throne in heaven to administrate all things in the universe as the King of kings and Lord of lords.

Praise the Lord for all His walks of life on this earth in doing all things for our full salvation and for the consummation the new Jerusalem.

Yes, brother, our Christ is in a state of glory and He has a rank of honour.

Glory is related to His person; honour is related to His status.

His ascension was His inauguration into His heavenly office.

This One who is enthroned is fully able to lead us to lay hold of the good land and to enjoy & experience all its riches.

The real Joshua is able to empower us to defeat the giants, to labour on Christ our land, and to absorb all His divine attributes.

How marvellous!

05/06/24 Knowing the Ascension (Week 7, Day 1)
“The Man-Savior’s Ascension is His Inauguration into His Heavenly Office… to Execute God’s Administration and to Carry out God’s New Testament Economy” (Part 1) In the Objective Aspect, the Lord’s Ascension Caused Him: (a.) to Be Crowned with Glory and Honor, (b.) to Be Enthroned for God’s Administration

The Man-Savior’s ascension was His inauguration into His heavenly office through the process of:

a.) creation,
b.) incarnation,
c.) human living,
d.) crucifixion, and
e.) resurrection

This process involved the Man-Savior, being:

a.) God,
b.) man,
c.) the Creator,
d.) the creature,
e.) the Redeemer,
f.) the Savior, and
g.) the life-giving Spirit

As the One inaugurated into His heavenly office through His ascension, the Man-Savior has a wonderful status. He is both God and man, both the Creator and a creature. Some theologians would agree that Christ is God, man, and the Creator, but would deny the fact that He is also a creature. However, Colossians 1:15 says that Christ is the Firstborn of all creation, indicating that with respect to His humanity He is a creature. With respect to His Divinity, He is the Creator. Therefore, Christ is both the Creator and the creature.

Furthermore, Christ is Triune God and the tripartite man, He is the whole God and a perfect man. Let us all learn to say, “My Savior is the Triune God and a tripartite man. He is the Creator and also a creature. He is the Redeemer and the life-giving Spirit, and this life-giving Spirit is the consummation of the Triune God.

The more we realize this, the more we shall be “electrified” and beside ourselves with joy in the Lord.

The Lord’s inauguration into His heavenly office has a two-fold purpose:

a.) to execute God’s administration and
b.) to carry out God’s New Testament economy or dispensation.

In His ascension, Christ is now on the throne to administrate the entire universe. He is the unique Administrator, the King of kings and the Lord of lords. All the rulers of the earth are under Him. He is the Administrator to execute God’s administration and also to carry out God’s New Testament economy.

Christ’s administrating is related to the universe, but His carrying out of God’s New Testament economy is to propagate Himself for His reproduction to build up the church, His Body, which will issue in the New Jerusalem.

In the objective aspect, the Lord’s ascension caused Him:

a.) to be crowned with glory and honor (Heb 2:9),
b.) to be enthroned for God’s administration (Heb 12:2).

In His ascension, the Man-Savior was crowned with glory and honor. Hebrews 2:9 says, “But we see Jesus, who was made a little inferior to the angels because of the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor.” Here glory and honor are considered a crown.

Glory is the splendor related to Jesus’ person; honor is the preciousness related to Jesus’ worth (1Pet 2:7). Here we may also point out that the Lord’s dignity is related to His position (2Pet 1:17). As the ascended One crowned with glory and honor, Christ is in a state of glory and has a rank of honor.

In His ascension, the Man-Savior was, not only crowned with glory and honor, but He was also enthroned for God’s administration. We need to remember that Christ is the embodiment of God, that is, all that God is and all that God has are embodied in Christ (Col 1:15; 2Cor 4:4). John 10:30 says, “I and the Father are one.” Therefore, when we read Revelation 22:1 and 22:3, there is only one throne for both God and the Lord, as the Lamb.

Finally, Revelation 21:23 says, “And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon that they should shine in it, for the glory of God illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb.” This verse reveals to us that God as Light is embodied in Christ as the Lamp to shine forth the glory (the shining of the divine life) of God, which illuminates the entire City of the New Jerusalem. The New Jerusalem, which is the spiritual City, is the totality of all of God’s chosen, redeemed, regenerated, transformed, and glorified people, who finally are fully saturated with the divine life, which shines forth corporate, as the glory of God, typified by jasper stone in appearance (Rev 21:10-11, 18).

“We praise You, Lord Jesus, for having ascended into the third heaven, which is the inauguration to Your heavenly office, which caused You to be crowned with glory and honor and be enthroned to sit with God in order for You to execute God’s administration and to carry out God’s New Testament economy. Amen.”

Truly wonderful to see that the Lord’s ascension is His inauguration into His heavenly office. In His inauguration He was crowned with glory and honor, enthroned with God for God’s administration, made Lord to possess all,  and made Christ to carry out God’s commission.

In the heavenly office, God is executing His administration in the universe from within Christ and through Christ.

Furthermore, the Lord is carrying out God’s New Testament economy.

This is truly amazing!!!

Lord, we are truly amazed by Your person and Your work. Praise You for all Your attainments and obtainments through the process that You went through.🙏🙏🙏

From 1:3 this book points us continually to the Christ seated in heaven. In all his other Epistles Paul presents to us mainly the Christ who dwells in our spirit (Rom. 8:10; 2 Tim. 4:22) as the life-giving Spirit (1 Cor. 15:45) to be our life and our everything.

But in this book he points us particularly to the Christ who has sat down in heaven and who is of so many aspects, that He may care for us in every way. In Paul’s other Epistles the indwelling Christ is versus our flesh, self, and natural man. In this book the heavenly Christ is contrasted to the earthly religion and all earthly things.

To experience the indwelling Christ, we need to turn to our spirit and contact Him. To enjoy the heavenly Christ, we need to look away from all things on earth unto Him, who has sat down on the right hand of the throne of God. By His death and resurrection He accomplished everything that is needed by both God and man.

Now in His ascension He is sitting in the heavens, in the person of the Son of God (Heb. 1:5) and the Son of Man (Heb. 2:6), in the person of God (Heb. 1:8) and man (Heb. 2:6), as the appointed Heir of all things (Heb. 1:2), the anointed One of God (Heb. 1:9), the Author of our salvation (Heb. 2:10), the Sanctifier (Heb. 2:11), the constant Succor (Heb. 2:16), the instant Helper (Heb. 4:16), the Apostle from God (Heb. 3:1), the High Priest (Heb. 2:17; 4:14; 7:26), the Minister of the true tabernacle (Heb. 8:2) with a more excellent ministry (Heb. 8:6), the surety and the Mediator of a better covenant (Heb. 7:22; 8:6; 12:24), the Executor of the new testament (Heb. 9:16-17), the Forerunner (Heb. 6:20), the Author and Perfecter of faith (v. 2), and the great Shepherd of the sheep (Heb. 13:20).

If we look to Him as such a wonderful and all-inclusive One, He will minister heaven, life, and strength to us, transfusing and infusing us with all that He is, that we may be able to run the heavenly race and live the heavenly life on earth. In this way He will carry us through all the lifelong pathway and lead and bring us into glory (Heb. 2:10).

In His ascension the Man-Savior was crowned with glory and honor…[𝙄𝙣 𝙃𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙚𝙬𝙨 2:9] 𝙜𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙝𝙤𝙣𝙤𝙧 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙖 𝙘𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙣. 𝙂𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙤𝙧 𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙨’ 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣; 𝙝𝙤𝙣𝙤𝙧 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙨’ 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙝 (1 𝙋𝙚𝙩. 2:7). Here we may also point out that the Lord’s dignity is related to His position (2 Pet. 1:17). As the ascended One crowned with glory and honor, Christ is in a state of glory and has a rank of honor. He is above all kings and rulers; this is His honor…This glory and honor are the crown with which He has been crowned.
