We believers in Christ have been rooted in Christ as the soil, and in Him we do not lack anything; as we take time to absorb the Lord as the all-inclusive land, we enjoy and partake of His fullness, His crucifixion, His burial, His raising up, His vivifying, and everything that He is to us as the soil. Amen!
It is amazing to see that, when we believed into the Lord Jesus, we were planted into Him as the rich soil.
Someone cooperated with the Lord to plant us in Christ, even as Paul worked together with God to plant the believers into Christ.
Many others worked together with God, in our case, to water us so that we may grow.
However, the growth is given only by God.
As those planted into Christ as the rich soil, we need to contact the Lord every day and enjoy Him as our rich supply.
Day by day we need to spend time with Him, even take time to adequately enjoy Him in His word and in our spirit.
This doesn’t necessarily mean that we need to keep our Bible reading schedule and that’s it; rather, we need to contact the Lord every day.
He is the rich soil into whom we have been rooted, and now we’re being built up in Him by enjoying Him in our time with Him, in our daily life, and in the meetings of the church (Col. 2:6-7).
When we spend time early in the morning to absorb the Lord by exercising our spirit, He adds Himself to us.
We can worship Him, adore Him, praise Him, offer Him thanks, and speak freely to Him.
We can open to Him about all things, we can enquire of Him concerning what is in His heart, and we can simply just talk to Him about us, our day, our problems, and our situation.
The more we speak to the Lord and open to Him, the more He can have a way to infuse us with Himself.
We open to Him, and He opens to us. In this mutual fellowship of God and man, there is a dispensing of God into man.
Like the Lord said in Matt. 6:6, for us to contact the Lord, we need to enter into our private room, close the door behind us, and just pray to our God who is in secret, and the One who sees in secret will reward us.
He is the wonderful One in our spirit, but He is also in secret, desiring that we contact Him personally, individually, intimately, affectionately, and spiritually.
Amen, as we contact Him day by day, we absorb Him.
There’s a continual absorbing of the elements of Christ as the rich soil into whom we’re rooted.
As we absorb Him, we grow in life, for God gives Himself to us to be the growth in us.
Little by little and day by day, we can grow in life with the growth of God, and this is for the building up of the Body of Christ.
Take Time to Absorb the Lord as the All-inclusive Land by Exercising our Spirit
In Col. 2:6-7 we are told that we have been rooted in Christ and are being built up in Him, and in vv. 8-15 we are presented with a full description and definition of Christ as the soil.
Christ as the rich soil into whom we are rooted is full of nutrients and elements.
In Him as the soil we do not lack anything, but rather, we are being made full in Him. As believers in Christ, we need to take time to absorb Christ as the all-inclusive land; as we do this, the facts in these verses become our experience.
What the Lord has accomplished and attained many years ago can become our experience today as we exercise our spirit to contact Him, enjoy Him, and partake of His riches.
The facts are in Christ, and the experience is by Christ and with Christ.
Paul was very wise when he wrote the book of Colossians; he didn’t just tell us that we are rooted in Christ and that’s it but rather, he gave us a full description and definition of this rich soil into whom we’re rooted.
The following verses after Col. 2:7 give us a clear picture of what we have in Christ.
These are all facts in the spiritual realm, and they can be experienced by us by Christ and with Christ; the reality of all these facts are the all-inclusive Christ into whom we are rooted. Hallelujah!
We need to see what are the rich elements of the soil into whom we’re rooted and how we can absorb the Lord as the all-inclusive land by exercising our spirit today.
We have been Rooted in Christ as the Soil: He’s the One in whom All the Fullness of the Godhead Dwells Bodily
Col. 2:9 shows us the first aspect of Christ as the rich soil into whom we’re rooted: He is the One in whom all the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily. Amen!
As we exercise our spirit to absorb Christ as the good land, the first thing we enjoy is this One, the Christ in whom all the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily.
Fullness refers not to the riches of God but to the expression of the riches of God; what dwells in Christ is not only the riches of the Godhead but even more, the expression of the riches of what God is (v. 9; 1:15, 18; 3:10-11).
When we are rooted in Christ as the soil, we are made full in Him; we are filled up with the divine riches to become His expression (Eph. 3:8, 19).
As we enjoy Him as such a One by exercising our spirit, we are made full in Him (Col. 2:10), who is the Head of all rule and authority.
In Greek, the word for “made full” implies completion, perfection, satisfaction, and full accomplishment. Wow, Hallelujah!
In Christ as the soil we are filled, completed, perfected, satisfied, and thoroughly supplied; in Him, we do not lack anything (Phil. 1:19).
How can this be applied to our experience? We may think that this is too high, the fullness of the Godhead dwelling in Christ bodily and we being made full in Him.
Actually, this has to do very much with us.
As we are enjoying the Lord in calmness, in quietness and in private, we may not see much happening outwardly, but there’s the element of the fullness of expression of God being wrought into us.
We may go to school or to work, living our day, and we spontaneously express Christ.
We enjoy Christ and absorb the Lord as the all-inclusive land, and as we live our daily life, we have the Lord’s presence, and He is expressed through us.
This is not in a deliberate way but in a spontaneous way.
We may not even be conscious of it, but we just manifest Him, and we are made full, completed, perfected, satisfied, and fully at peace and rest in Him.
The fullness in the rich soil we’re enjoying makes us full, perfects us, completes us, satisfies us, accomplishes everything for us, and thoroughly supplies our every need. In this fullness we have everything that we need, for it is all-inclusive.
In the rich soil into whom we’re rooted, the all-inclusive Christ, we have justification, righteousness, holiness, sanctification, and everything we need.
We simply need to take time to absorb the Lord as the all-inclusive land and we will absorb the rich nourishment which He is.
We have been rooted in this fullness, and in Him we are made full, perfect, and complete!
Thank You, Lord, for rooting us into the all-inclusive Christ as the good land for us to absorb all His riches! Hallelujah, the land into whom we’re rooted is the One in whom all the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily! Wow, Lord, we are rooted in the fullness! Amen, we open to You today to enjoy the riches of what You are. We open to enjoy the fullness of the expression of God so that we may be made full, completed, perfected, and thoroughly satisfied. Praise the Lord for the all-inclusive Christ as the good land into whom we’re rooted to absorb all His riches! Amen, Lord, keep us turning to You today to enjoy the fullness of God in Christ. Make us Your expression today. Keep us enjoying You and absorbing Your riches until You are the One manifested in us and through us!
Christ as the Soil is the Head of All Rule and Authority
In Col. 2:10 we are told that we’re made full in Christ, who is the Head of all rule and authority.
When we spend time to absorb Christ with all His riches, we are one with Him in His ascension.
We are one with Him in His enthronement, and we are seated with Christ, far above all things.
We can testify that, even though we go through difficulties and have problems, when we spend time with the Lord and really enjoy Him as the good land, we transcend our situation and soar above all things.
This One, the soil into whom we’re rooted, causes us to be one with Him in His ascension.
When we enjoy Him and absorb Him in our time with Him, we share in His ascension, in His rulership over all, in His headship over all things! Praise the Lord!
This can be our experience today in Christ and with Christ as we take time to absorb the Lord as the all-inclusive land, the rich soil into whom we’re rooted
In Christ as the Soil there’s the Killing Power, Putting the Flesh to Death
Col. 2:11 shows us that in the rich soil of Christ into whom we’re rooted there is the killing power, which puts the flesh to death. Wow!
In this soil there’s the circumcision, not made with hands of flesh but in the spirit.
In Him we are circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, but in the putting off of the body of the flesh, in the circumcision of Christ.
What is this and how can we experience this?
When we absorb Christ in our personal and intimate time with Him, we are enjoying the all-inclusive Spirit, and in this Spirit there’s the element of the crucifixion of Christ, the putting to death of Jesus.
One of the ingredients of the compound ointment in Exo. 30:23-25 was myrr, the sweetness and effectiveness of Christ’s death.
On the positive side, when we absorb the Lord as the all-inclusive land we’re one with Him in His ascension, we enjoy all His riches, and we’re made full in Him.
On the negative side, all the negative elements in us are put to death, for in this land there’s the crucifixion of Christ.
Our murmuring and reasoning are put to death.
When we’re about to complain or murmur, there’s something in us, an element from the rich soil of Christ, that puts to death our complaining and murmuring.
There’s just grace, the grace for us to not say something or do something or have an attitude that expresses our complaining or murmuring.
It’s all in the rich soil of Christ into whom we are rooted.
This really works! This can become our experience!
The crucifixion of Christ can be applied to us and we can experience it in our daily living simply by turning to our spirit to contact the Lord and absorb Him as the rich soil.
In this soil there’s the killing element of the cross of Christ, which can be compared to the salt.
Salt is added to kill the germs and remove the corruption.
When we absorb the Lord as the all-inclusive land, the negative things in us are killed.
In our daily living, even without us being aware, the negative elements in our being are put to death. Praise the Lord!
Lord Jesus, we want to take more time to enjoy You so that we may absorb the Lord as the all-inclusive good land with all His riches. Hallelujah, in the rich soil of Christ into whom we’re rooted there’s the putting to death of Jesus, the crucifixion of Christ. Amen, Lord, we come to You to enjoy You. Apply to us all the riches that are in You as the soil. May all the negative elements in our being be removed and killed by the application of the cross of Christ included in the all-inclusive, life-giving Spirit! Hallelujah, in Christ we were circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, and every negative thing has been terminated! Amen, Lord, operate in us today in a living way to put to death anything that is not You and does not match You.
In Christ as the Soil there’s an Element that Causes us to be Buried, Raised up, and Vivified
In Col. 2:12-13 we see that in the rich soil of Christ, there’s an element that causes us to be buried with Christ, raised up with Christ, and vivified, made alive with Him. Hallelujah!
His crucifixion and putting to death are not the end; after being crucified and having the negative things put to death, we are buried with Him.
Not only are we terminated but also buried with Christ.
We have died with Him and in Him, and we were buried with Him. This is our fact today.
As we take time to absorb the Lord with His all-inclusive riches as the soil into whom we’re rooted, we will be buried with Him.
Furthermore, we will be raised up with Him, made alive with Him, and filled with life in Him and with Him. Hallelujah!
It’s all in the soil. It’s all in Christ. It is all in the rich Christ into whom we’re rooted.
We don’t need to worry about what do we need to experience or apply in our experience; it’s all in the rich soil into whom we are rooted.
After being put to death with Christ, we are buried with Him, and then – in the Lord’s time and in His way – we are raised with Him, made alive with Him. Praise the Lord!
The elements in the rich soil of Christ operate in us in a rich way to put us to death, bury us with Christ, raise us up with Him, and give us life in Him and with Him. Wow, praise the Lord!
Through the killing and the burial, the negative things are taken away from us, and through the raising up and giving life we receive all the positive things of Christ as the rich soil.
There’s an element in Christ that, no matter what our situation outwardly is, causes us to be vivified and filled with His life.
We may be so down, but this element, inexplicably, raises us up and gives us the divine life.
What a rich soil is the all-inclusive Christ into whom we are rooted!
Lord Jesus, keep us enjoying You today. You are the rich soil into whom we’re rooted, and in You we lack nothing. We want to enjoy all that You are. Make all that You are and have accomplished real to us in our experience. We want to absorb the riches of the all-inclusive Christ so that, in our experience, we may be buried with Him, raised up with Him, and vivified with Him! Praise the Lord, in Christ and with Christ we are buried, we are raised up, and we are made alive! Amen, Lord, keep us absorbing Your riches today. Operate in us. Be constituted into our being. We want to enjoy and experience You as the rich soil with the wonderful nutrients into whom we’re rooted!
In Christ as the Soil there’s the Wiping out of the Handwriting in Ordinances and the Victory over the Evil Spirits in the Atmosphere
Col. 2:14 shows us that in the rich soil of Christ into whom we’re rooted there is the wiping out of the handwriting in ordinances, which was against us.
The law makes demands on us, and there are many ordinances laid out in it.
Furthermore, we may have other self-made laws, even our own ordinances in our family life and in the church life.
The more we live in a particular locality and meet with the saints there, the easier it is to practice the church life in a particular way, which we think it is good, but it may be our local ordinance.
When we visit other localities we realize that the saints there practice the church life slightly different than us, and we may want to impose or teach our ordinance. Oh, Lord!
The more we absorb Christ as the rich soil with His wonderful nutrients, the more all our ordinances are wiped out and wiped away.
We will not bring ordinances with us where we go – we will simply bring the aroma of Christ, the rich soil into whom we’re rooted and whom we absorb.
We will enter into others’ labour and practice of the church life with no problem, for there are no ordinances with us.
Nothing will bother us, even though others may have their ordinances and ways of doing things, for in Christ as the rich soil we have everything we need.
Col. 2:15 further tells us that in Christ as the rich soil there’s the victory over the evil spirits in the atmosphere.
Many times we realize that it’s not that people are evil and want to do evil things but it is the evil powers in the air that operate among the sons of disobedience and cause them to do certain things.
The more we grow in life and partake of the riches of Christ, the more we will enjoy being enthroned with Him and having victory over the evil spirits in the atmosphere.
The One in whom we are rooted has already destroyed them, stripped them off, and triumphed over them through the cross. We are joined to Him. His victory is our victory.
As we realize that there’s something in the air, an evil atmosphere that operates and influences the people today, we need to give ourselves to absorb the Lord with His riches! Amen!
The more people today try to be good, the more they just can’t do it.
But praise the Lord, in the rich Christ as the soil there’s the stripping off of the rulers and the authorities, and there’s a public display of shaming them, even triumphing them through the cross.
The victory over the enemy in the air is in the soil.
If we just take time to absorb Christ, that victory will be our constitution and experience today.
Lord Jesus, we want to just take time to absorb You. Everything we need is in You as the rich soil. In You we have the wiping out of the handwriting in ordinances. Hallelujah, Christ has wiped out the handwriting in ordinances, which was against us, and now in Him we have no more ordinances! Amen, Lord, in You we are released from any ordinance, whether it is self-made or self-imposed. Praise the Lord, in the Lord we are free to enjoy the all-inclusive Christ and He is our everything! Amen, Lord, we want to enjoy You as the rich soil today so that we may enjoy and experience the victory over the evil spirits in the atmosphere. Wow, Lord, in You we have victory over the enemy and all his evil spirits! We do not want to try to be better Christians; we simply want to spend more time with You to absorb Your riches today! Hallelujah, if we take time to absorb Christ, the victory of Christ will be ours, and the enemy will be beneath our feet!

What a full description and definition of Christ as the soil!
As we take time to absorb Him as the allinclusive land, the facts become our experience.
5/16/24 Experiencing and Enjoying the All-inclusive Christ as the Good Land – a Land in Which We Do Not Lack Anything (Week 8, Day 4)
Colossians 2:8-15 forms a complete section of the book. This section begins with a word of warning: “Beware that no one carries you off as spoil through his philosophy and empty deceit” (Col 2:8). This section is also followed by another warning: “Let no one therefore judge you in eating and in drinking or in respect of a feast or of a new moon or of Sabbaths” (Col 2:16).
The warning in verse 8 is based on the verses which precede it. According to these verses, Christ is the mystery of God, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge (Col 2:2-3). In verse 6 Paul says that as we have received Christ, we should walk in Him. In order to walk in Christ, we must fulfill the two conditions mentioned in verse 7:
a.) we must be rooted in Him and
b.) we must be in the process of being built up in Him.
Then we must beware that no one carries us off as spoil from the very Christ who is the mystery of God and in whom we should walk. We have received the wonderful Christ who is the mystery of God with all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Now, having been rooted in Him and being built up in Him, we should walk in Him.
Colossians chapter 2, verses 8 through 15 is a description of the very soil in which we have been rooted. These verses present a full description and definition of the soil. The first aspect of this very special soil is found in verse 9: “For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.” We have been rooted in the One in whom all the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily.
We should not allow anyone to carry us away from such a soil. To be carried away from this soil is to be uprooted from it. When the book of Colossians was written, some were trying to uproot the believers from Christ. The believers had been rooted in Christ as the good land, as the One in whom all the fullness of the Godhead dwells. Instead of allowing anyone to carry us away from this soil, we must stay rooted in it.
In Colossians 2:10 Paul continues, “You have been made full in Him, who is the Head of all rule and authority.” The Greek word translated full in verse 10 implies completion, perfection. Because all the fullness of the Godhead dwells in Christ bodily, and Christ, as the Life-giving Spirit dwells in us, we are thus made full in Him, filled up, with all the divine riches. Hence, we need no other source. In Christ, we lack nothing, for in Him we have been perfected and completed. There is no reason for us to turn to anything other than Christ.
Colossians 2:8-15 mention many elements of Christ that we can enjoy and experience that are embodied in Him as the Soil inside of us. What He had experience can then be experienced by us because all the fullness of the God head, being embodies in Christ, is now in our regenerated spirit. These elements of Christ that we can enjoy and experience subjectively are:
(1.) we have been made full in Him (Col 2:10) ~ “Made full” implies completion, perfection, satisfaction, and full accomplishment. Because we are rooted in Christ as the Soil, we too can experience this fullness by remaining rooted in Him.
2.) Christ was made the Head of all rule and authority (Col 2:10) ~ Christ being made Head of all rule and authority killed the heresy and practice of angel worship.
(3.) we were circumcised with the circumcision of Christ (Col 2:11) ~ Circumcision of Christ denotes cutting and killing. It is not a physical circumcision made by hands, but it is the putting off of the flesh, our natural man.
(4.) we were buried together with Him in baptism (Col 2:12) ~ To be buried with Him in baptism signifies burial of our old natural man.
(5.) we were raised together with Him from the dead (Col 2:12) ~ This refers to our being resurrected together with Christ.
(6.) we were made alive together with Him (Col 2:13) ~ The divine, eternal life which is in Christ is also in us.
(7.) the ordinances were wiped out (Col 2:14) ~ When Christ was crucified, the handwriting in ordinances was nailed on the cross, releasing us from trying to comply with the demands of the ordinances.
(8.) the stripping off of the rulers and authorities (Col 2:15). In His ascension, Christ had stripped off the rulers and the authorities, and made a display of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
As the soil, Christ includes all these marvelous elements. Praise Him that He is such a rich soil! We have been rooted in this soil. Day by day, our roots need to sink deeper into Christ as the unique soil in Order for us to enjoy and experience every aspect of the elements of Christ, now hidden in our innermost being. Only by remaining rooted in Christ as the rich Soil can we enjoy and experience them in a deeper and fuller way.
The “fullness”, not only refers to the riches of God that are embodied in Christ, but also to the expression of the riches of God. When we continually remain rooted in Christ as the rich Soil, we shall gradually absorb and be saturated with these riches, causing us to be fully filled unto overflowing. This overflowing becomes the expression of the riches of God that we have gradually enjoyed and experienced until we are fully filled unto overflowing (Col 2:9-10).
LORD JESUS THANK YOU THAT YOU ARE THE ALLINCLUSIVE LAND/SOIL YOU ARE THE GREAT I AM WHATEVER WE NEED IS IN YOU .HOLY FATHER CAUSE US TO STOP OUR WANDERINGS, NO MORE DO WE NEED TO STRUGGLE TRYING TO FIND THE WAY IN , THANK GOD WE HAVE GOT YOU ALREADY KEEP US ABIDING IN THE REAL DIVINE SOIL SO WE WILL GROW UNTO MATURITY AND BARE FRUITS ABUNDANTLY AMEN THANK YOU FATHER.

Christ is the good land in which we have been rooted, we have been rooted in this fullness; in it we have been made full, complete, and perfect.
