The Renewing of the New Man depends on our Seeking the Things which are Above

January 30, 2021 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

If therefore you were raised together with Christ, seek the things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things which are above, not on the things which are on the earth. Col. 3:1-2

The renewing of the new man depends on our seeking the things which are above; we need to seek the things above so that we may respond to and reflect Christ’s activities by receiving the divine transmission in our organic union with Him. As believers in Christ, we need to be renewed day by day […]

We must Desire to Prophesy, to Speak for God, so that God may Speak through us

October 25, 2019 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

For you can all prophesy one by one that all may learn and all may be encouraged. 1 Cor. 14:31

God wants us – the saved and regenerated ones – to prophesy as prophets; God wants us to be so one with Him that He speaks within us and through us according to the principle of incarnation, and we should also desire to prophesy. In Num. 11:29 we see Moses’ desire that not just him […]

Developing our Organic Function as Members and Prophesying to Build up the Church

February 7, 2018 by aGodMan 5 Comments

The saints who are perfected by the gifts should pursue and desire prophesying, speaking for the Lord, speaking forth the Lord, and supplying others with the Lord, that the church may be built (1 Cor. 14:1, 3-5). This kind of prophesying that is for the building up of the church and that excels over all other gifts is a matter of speaking and listening in mutuality (vv. 12, 24, 31). This kind of prophesying that is full of speaking and listening in mutuality stirs up the spiritual organic function of the members of the Body of Christ; it edifies and builds up the church (v. 4b; cf. Matt. 16:18). The Genuine Church Life (2017 Thanksgiving Conference), outline 5

As we are being perfected in the group meetings we should all pursue and desire prophesying, speaking and listening in mutuality, for the stirring up of the spiritual organic function of the members of the Body for the building up of the Body. The church is an organism, the mingling of God and man, produced […]

As we Breathe in the Lord, His Spirit comes in to Enliven us and Form us as His Army

September 1, 2017 by aGodMan 9 Comments

When Ezekiel prophesied the first time (Ezek. 37:7), there was a noise and a rattling, and all the bones came together; when we come together in the meetings and make a joyful noise by calling on the Lord and praising Him (Psa. 95:1; cf. Lam. 3:55-56; John 20:22; Hymns, #255), we are truly one. When Ezekiel prophesied the second time (Ezek. 37:10), the breath came into the “very dry” (v. 2, cf. v. 11) and dead bones, “and they lived and stood up upon their feet, an exceedingly great army” (v. 10), to fight the battle for God. Crystallization-Study of Ezekiel (2), outline 1

In Ezek. 37 God told the prophet to prophesy His word over the dead bones, and then the wind, the breath, and the Spirit came; we need to exercise to prophesy God’s word, breathe in the Lord, and allow God to breathe out His word and His Spirit for His purpose to be fulfilled. A […]

God’s Words are Good for us to Eat: we need to Eat the Word of God as our Food

April 10, 2017 by aGodMan 11 Comments

Jer. 15:16 Your words were found and I ate them, and Your word became to me the gladness and joy of my heart.

Ezekiel was asked by God to take the scroll and eat it, then speak the word of God (Ezek. 2:8-3:4); as believers in Christ we need to eat the word of God, digest them, assimilate them into our being, and then speak the word of God. This week in our crystallization-study of Ezekiel we come […]

Praise the Lord that we can gather together in His name! He was surely in our midst the entire conference in Porto, Portugal. the Word of God needs to become our reality and our speaking (sharing from the conference in Portugal)

March 13, 2011 by aGodMan 4 Comments

The recent conference we had in Portugal was about speaking God’s Word. I was really touched that we need to read His Word, and then we will be filled with it so that we can speak it to others! His Word has to become reality in us – if we read it in the same […]
