The New Man is the Christ Constituted into us through our Enjoyment and Experience of Him

May 10, 2018 by aGodMan 14 Comments

The one new man is Christ constituted into us.

The one new man was created in Christ on the cross, and this new man is actually Christ constituted into us through our experience and enjoyment of Him. The one new man is a corporate God-man, the aggregate of all the God-men. We believers in Christ are the many God-men, and the one new man […]

The Church is a Corporate One New Man, a Corporate God-man Fulfilling God’s Purpose

May 9, 2018 by aGodMan 11 Comments

The church is a universal, corporate one new man, a corporate God-man, to fulfill God's eternal purpose.

The church is a corporate one new man, a corporate God-man, a universal man who fulfills God’s purpose of expressing God and representing Him. On the one hand, the church is the Body of Christ, and we need to take Christ as our life and everything for the Body, realising that we are members of […]

The Church is the One New Man to Fulfill God’s Purpose to Express and Represent God

Eph. 4:23-24 ...Be renewed in the spirit of your mind and put on the new man...

The highest definition of the church is that the church is the one new man, and for this new man we all need to take Christ as our person. We may know that the church is the household of God and we are the many members of this divine-human household, and we may enjoy the […]

God Intends to have the Church as the One New Man to Express Him and Represent Him

February 12, 2018 by aGodMan 6 Comments

The one new man was created by Christ on the cross with two kinds of materials — the redeemed created man and the divine element; on the cross Christ put these materials together to produce a new man. In the creating of the new man, first our natural man was crucified by Christ, and then through the crossing out of the old man, Christ imparted the divine element into us, causing us to become a new entity (Rom. 6:6; 2 Cor. 5:17). The phrase in Himself in Ephesians 2:15 indicates that Christ was not only the Creator of the one new man but also the sphere in which and the essence with which the one new man was created. Witness Lee

This week is our sixth and last on the topic of, The Genuine Church Life, and we are focusing on, Practicing the Church Life in the Consciousness of the One New Man. We need to see the church as the one new man and practice the church life with this consciousness. When we realize that […]

The Goal of the Lord’s Recovery is to Bring Forth the One New Man to End this Age

January 6, 2018 by aGodMan 1 Comment

What is here in the Lord’s recovery is nothing but Christ, and this Christ is all and in all. You cannot be an individual believer, and you cannot keep your local church separate from all the others. Today is the day to have a new man constituted with all the local churches, including all the saints as one in Christ, who is all and in all. This vision will rescue us from all things other than Christ. Witness Lee, The One New Man, ch. 6

God desires to gain the church as the Body of Christ to be the one new man, and the goal of the Lord’s recovery is to bring forth the one new man. But if we look at ourselves, at the local church where we meet, and at the country we are in, can we say […]

Today is the day to have a New Man Constituted of All the Local Churches on earth

January 5, 2018 by aGodMan 9 Comments

Col. 4:15-16 Greet the brothers in Laodicea, as well as Nymphas and the church, which is in his house. And when this letter is read among you, cause that it be read in the church of the Laodiceans also, and that you also read the one from Laodicea.

The application of the new man spoken of in Eph. 2:15 and Col. 3:10-11 is that all the local churches in the different countries are one new man. So our practice of the church life should be with the Body of Christ and the new man as the goal in view. The constitution of the […]

Taking Christ as our Life and Person so that Christ is All and in All in the New Man

January 4, 2018 by aGodMan 10 Comments

Col. 3:10-11 And have put on the new man, which is being renewed unto full knowledge according to the image of Him who created him, where there cannot be Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free man, but Christ is all and in all.

In the new man Christ is all and in all. What does it mean in reality and in our experience for Christ to be all in all in the church as the one new man? We need to ask the Lord to make this real to us, and even to make this our reality in […]
