Becoming a City that is Lovely to the Lord and an Army that is Terrible to the Enemy

August 16, 2018 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

Eph. 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the stratagems of the devil.

We as lovers of Christ should be both lovely and lovable to the Lord and terrible to the enemy, both a city and an army with banners. Loving the Lord with the best love and advancing in the divine romance will bring us into spiritual warfare with the enemy. On the one hand, we enjoy […]

Becoming a Garden for Christ’s Private Enjoyment and as Terrible as an Army with Banners

August 15, 2018 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

Through her living in Christ’s ascension as the new creation in resurrection, Christ’s transformed bride becomes a garden for Christ’s private enjoyment (Song of Songs 4:12-16).

As we progress in the divine romance, we as the lover of Christ become as beautiful as Tirzah, as lovely as Jerusalem, and as terrible as an army with banners (Song of Songs 6:4, 10). It seems that love and war are opposite, and it is true, but in the spiritual realm, if we love […]

Called by Christ to Live with Him in Ascension and Wrestle the Enemy from His Victory

Song of Songs 2:14 My dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the covert of the precipice, let me see your countenance, let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your countenance is lovely.

As seen in Song of Songs 4:8, Christ calls us, His lovers, to live with Him in ascension, in the heavenlies, where there’s a spiritual warfare and where we fight from victory. In the Song of Songs, which depicts a loving romance between God and man, we see the matter of the spiritual warfare. When […]

Having a Will that is Subdued and Strong in Resurrection for the Spiritual Warfare

August 13, 2018 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

Fighting the Spiritual Warfare through Living in Christ’s Ascension as the New Creation in Resurrection to Become Christ’s Duplication and Counterpart

Spiritual warfare can also be seen in the Song of Songs, for spiritual warfare is a major part of our love affair with the Lord; our will needs to be subdued and strong in resurrection, and it will be like the tower of David, the armory for spiritual warfare. In our prayerful consideration of the […]

The Resurrection of the Victorious Christ Declares that He is Victorious over Death

August 9, 2018 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

Rev. 1:18 And the living One; and I became dead, and behold, I am living forever and ever; and I have the keys of death and of Hades.

The resurrection of the victorious Christ declared that He is victorious over death – He overcame death, He took the keys of death and Hades, and He is the living One. Hallelujah for our victorious Christ who, in every step of His living and every stage of His work, has fought the spiritual warfare, has […]

Offering Ourselves Willingly to the Lord in the Day of His Warfare to Bring in His Kingdom

August 4, 2018 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

The Lord wants us to pray, “Our Father who is in the heavens, Your name be sanctified; Your kingdom come; Your will be done, as in heaven, so also on earth” (Matt. 6:9-10). If the coming of the kingdom of God was automatic, the Lord would never have taught us to pray in this way. But since the Lord asked us to pray in this way, He simply showed us that this is the work of the church. Yes, the church should preach the gospel, but much more, the church should pray to bring in the kingdom of God. Some people think that whether or not we pray, the kingdom of God will come automatically. But if we know God, we will never say this. The principle of God’s work is to wait for His people to move. Then He will move. Watchman Nee, The Glorious Church, pp. 61-63

If we see that we are in the day of Christ’s warfare, we will offer ourselves willingly to the Lord for His purpose, being a voluntary offering to Him to be part of the new man as the corporate warrior to deal with God’s enemy and bring His kingdom in. The Lord is not after […]

The Purpose of Spiritual Warfare is to Bring in the Kingdom of God on the Earth

August 3, 2018 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

Rev. 11:15 ...And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever.

Because Satan and his kingdom is against God and His purpose, there is a need for spiritual warfare in this universe; the purpose of spiritual warfare is to bring in the kingdom of God. Throughout the ages since the creation of Adam there has been a spiritual struggle between the kingdom of God and the […]
