Offering Ourselves Willingly to the Lord in the Day of His Warfare to Bring in His Kingdom

August 4, 2018 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

The Lord wants us to pray, “Our Father who is in the heavens, Your name be sanctified; Your kingdom come; Your will be done, as in heaven, so also on earth” (Matt. 6:9-10). If the coming of the kingdom of God was automatic, the Lord would never have taught us to pray in this way. But since the Lord asked us to pray in this way, He simply showed us that this is the work of the church. Yes, the church should preach the gospel, but much more, the church should pray to bring in the kingdom of God. Some people think that whether or not we pray, the kingdom of God will come automatically. But if we know God, we will never say this. The principle of God’s work is to wait for His people to move. Then He will move. Watchman Nee, The Glorious Church, pp. 61-63

If we see that we are in the day of Christ’s warfare, we will offer ourselves willingly to the Lord for His purpose, being a voluntary offering to Him to be part of the new man as the corporate warrior to deal with God’s enemy and bring His kingdom in. The Lord is not after […]

If we offer ourselves to God sincerely, fire will descend from heaven and burn us; this burning will become the energy that moves us, and the issue of this burning will be our service. Witness Lee

All the service that we as believers in Christ offer to God should be based on the fire that comes from God; we need to be those who are offering ourselves to God for His fire to burn in us and energize us to serve Him. In the Old Testament all the service of the priests […]

In His Heavenly Ministry Christ is the Both the King and the High Priest

In His Heavenly Ministry Christ is the Both the King and the High Priest

In the book of Hebrews we see that Christ is the High Priest – not only the High Priest according to the order of Aaron (to accomplish judicial redemption for us) but all the more a High Priest according to the order of Melchizedek (to carry out His organic salvation). The entire book of Hebrews […]
