God made us Sufficient as Ministers of a New Covenant, Appointing us to the Ministry

September 4, 2024 by aGodMan 11 Comments

Therefore having this ministry as we have been shown mercy, we do not lose heart. 2 Cor. 4:1

We thank and praise the Lord, Jesus Christ our Lord, that He has counted us faithful, appointing us to the ministry; God has made us sufficient as ministers of a new covenant, ministers of the Spirit and not of the letter, for the letter kills but the Spirit gives life. Amen! We are thankful to […]

Many Ministers have a Part of the Unique New Covenant Ministry for the Body of Christ

September 2, 2024 by aGodMan 12 Comments

For he was numbered among us and was allotted his portion of this ministry. Acts 1:17

In the Lord’s eyes, there is only one ministry – the unique new covenant ministry, the ministry of the New Testament, and we all have a portion in this ministry, having and carrying out our own ministry within and part of the new covenant ministry; one ministry – many ministers! This week we are in […]

The Need to be Constituted with God to Have the Ministry of Life for the Body

This week in our study we come to the topic, Ministry of Life. In Christianity today there are many “ministries”, and as soon as someone feels he has a ministry from the Lord, he goes ahead and does his best to carry it out, many times resulting in creating yet another division in the Body […]

Being Enlarged in Our Heart to Have the Intimate Concern of the Ministering Life

December 10, 2012 by aGodMan 2 Comments

We see a good pattern in the Apostle Paul in this respect: he was a minister of the new covenant and he had an intimate concern for the saints wherever he went.

All believers in Christ need to be the ministers of the new covenant – it is our privilege, our right, and our responsibility to not only enjoy the Lord but also minister Him as life to others for the building up of the church. We need to come up to God’s standard and become ministers […]

sowing the seeds of life, planting Christ into people, and watering others with living water

December 9, 2011 by aGodMan 4 Comments

The flow of the divine life in us makes us ministers of the new covenant (2 Cor. 3:6). A competent minister of the new covenant has six statuses in 1 Corinthians – a sower sowing the seeds of life, a planter planting Christ into others, a waterer with the water of life, a begetter of others in Christ, a feeder of the believers, and a builder of the building of God. God’s shining in our hearts brings into us a priceless treasure – the Christ of glory!

February 9, 2011 by aGodMan 12 Comments

This morning I was freshly impressed and supplied at the same time with God’s desire to shine in our hearts! In the Old Testament He was shining over people, mainly outwardly, but now in the New Testament, He can shine in our hearts! Without the Lord shining in us, we are in darkness; any part […]

Last night we were praying over Matt. 6:20-21 regarding the treasure and our heart – where our treasure is, there will our heart be also: 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consumes and where thieves do not dig through nor steal. 21 For where your treasure is, […]
