Seeing that the Triune God is Involved with us, we Pray Prevailing Prayers for God’s Goal

But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Matt. 6:33

Our present situation and God’s need today are the same in principle as the situation and the need in the time of Samuel; we need to see that the Triune God is involved with us so that we may cooperate with the Divine Trinity to bring in the kingdom of God.

Why did our wise and sovereign God allow the enemy to bring in such a pandemic, which by now reaches almost the end of the second year? Why did He allow the enemy to do this?

God is sovereign, and we honor His wisdom and sovereignty; we don’t dare to give our own ideas and opinions, but we honor the Lord and His wisdom.

What we see, however, is that we live in a degraded, chaotic situation, and we know from what the Lord said in Matt. 24 and in Luke 14 that, just as it was in the days of Noah, so it shall be in the days of the coming of the Son of Man.

People are doing this and doing that, as if there’ll never be any problem; then, the flood came.

It is likely that we are just at the beginning of the degradation and the chaos, and eventually in a certain part of the earth will issue in a powerful leader who will become the Antichrist.

And then, after the rapture of the firstfruits, the great tribulation will begin.

But prior to that, God has a need; the Lord cannot just return without a group of people cooperating with Him in prayer.

He needs some people who see His need and join themselves with Him to meet His need through prayer.

We need to see that our present situation today is very similar to the situation and the need in the time of Samuel; at the same time, the Triune God is involved with us, His people, so that He may have a way to bring in His kingdom through us.

May we be those who cooperate with the Divine Trinity by praying the prayers that He needs to cooperate with Him and bring in the kingdom of God on earth.

The Urgent Need for some to Pray Prevailing Prayers for God’s Goal and some to Cooperate with God to Terminate the Confused Situation and bring in God’s Kingdom

The kingdom of the world has become the [kingdom] of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever. Rev. 11:15

Today there is an urgent need for some to pray prevailing prayers for God’s goal, as Hannah did (1 Sam. 2:35).

Also, there is a need for some who are like Samuel, the qualified ones, some who are Nazarites, priests, prophets, and the last judges, those who are used by God to terminate the confused situation among God’s people and bring in the king with the kingdom.

Our involvement begins with seeing the urgent need for prevailing prayers.

In the life-study on ch. 8 of Revelation (life-study msg. 23), we see an Angel, referring to Christ, and he was given much incense; he added the golden bowls, which signify the prayers of the saints.

Then, He added the incense to make the prayers fully acceptable to God; immediately, the throne reacts in a powerful way.

The time will come in our situation when we will inwardly sense the need to pray desperately for a certain kind of prayer; we will call out to God that He would come in and change the situation.

Such a prevailing prayer is not something that can be stirred up in our emotion after reading the Bible or hearing a message on this topic.

It has to come from a vision and a realization of God’s intention to bring His kingdom to earth, and the enemy’s opposition to God carrying out His intention.

There is an urgent need for some to pray prevailing prayers for God’s goal, as Hannah did, and for qualified ones to be like Samuel — a Nazarite, a priest, a prophet, and the last judge — who was used by God to terminate the confused situation among God’s people and bring in the king and the kingdom — 1 Sam. 2:35. Crystallization-study of 1&2 Samuel, outline 1God’s will and intention are to bring the kingdom of God to the earth; for this, He needs some who see the urgent need to pray prevailing prayers for God’s goal, and some who rise up to be one with God to terminate the confused situation and bring in the kingdom of God.

Some will sense this urgent need and will pray desperately; the Lord is gaining throughout the earth many vital groups, small groups, who pray prevailing prayers for God’s goal.

The Lord is gaining sisters, especially, who are grouped together to pray for God’s need, and many brothers will join in to be the corporate Hannah praying and bringing forth Samuel.

Also, the Lord is raising many who are part of a corporate Samuel who is one with the Lord to represent Him, function as His representative, to be the acting God.

When there is this combination of those who pray prevailing prayers for God’s goal and those who are the acting God on earth, the kingdom of God will be brought in.

This kind of prevailing prayer will be not just for one or two weeks; it will become deeper and deeper, and it will give the Lord the cooperation He needs to raise up a corporate Samuel who acts one with God to bring in the kingdom of God.

We don’t just pray that His kingdom would come and His will be done on earth; we will pray specifically for the overcomers to be produced, for the saints to see the Divine Trinity being fully involved with man for the bringing in of the kingdom of God, and for the Lord to return with the kingdom.

May we be those who are produced by the Divine Trinity operating in us in an unhindered way to pray such a prayer and do such work.

In order for us to pray to meet God’s need today, we need Christ as the embodiment of Triune God (the reality of the tabernacle) and as the reality of all the offerings, and we need the fulfillment of the Tent of Meeting, which is the church as God’s dwelling place (Col. 2:9-10; Eph. 2:21-22; Eph. 2:21-22; Heb. 8:1-2; 10:8-10).

In a sense, Christ our King is not here yet, and we are still in a confused situation, as in the age of the judges (Judg. 21:25).

Just look at what happens around us, the rebellion, protests, rioting, looting, warfare, immorality, and corruption.

What we see is blatant rebellion, and certain politicians take advantage of it, with no concern for how much damage it does.

Your kingdom come; Your will be done, as in heaven, [so] also on earth...And do not bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. Matt. 6:10, 13 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit. 1 Cor. 6:17 And working together with [Him,] we also entreat you not to receive the grace of God in vain. 2 Cor. 6:1May we not be pulled down by it, but may we realize that the Lord is raising up on earth Hannahs and Samuels to be the means through which the King will come with His kingdom. He will come!

And eventually, when the man-child is raptured, there will be war in heaven; the devil will be cast down to the earth, and all of his evil angels will be on the earth.

We don’t want to be on earth then; we want to be on the throne, joining our Victorious Husband on our journey in a hidden way as the bridal army.

This will happen; this is not just a teaching that may inspire us for a day or a week, nor is it merely a doctrine.

The fulfillment of God’s kingdom is the coming of the kingdom, which will be brought in by the Lord Jesus, but there is the need for some like Samuel to cooperate with the Divine Trinity by bringing in the kingdom (Matt. 6:33; 1 Cor. 6:17; 16:10; 2 Cor. 6:1).

How do we cooperate with the Divine Trinity? We are learning to do this; we need to ask the Lord to train us to cooperate with Him, so that He may do what He desires to do.

We just need to give ourselves to Him to cooperate with Him by praying prevailing prayers and being produced as those who are useful in His hands to bring in the kingdom of God.

We need to realize how greatly the Divine Trinity is needed to pray prevailing prayers and to bring in the kingdom of God (Matt. 6:10, 13; Rev. 1:4-7; 8:3-5).

Our God knows that we are not able to pray this way on our own; He knows that, and He is in us as the praying One, and He is also the One interceding on the throne for us to pray.

If we know that the Divine Trinity is needed for us to pray prevailing prayers, we will realize that He is on the throne right now praying prevailing prayers, intercessory prayers, victorious prayers, warfare prayers, and governmental prayers.

And He wants His counterpart to match Him, so He transmits into us His way of praying, His burden, and then He trains us to pray prevailing prayers to bring in the kingdom.

The Triune God with His embodiment, His redemption, and His Spirit is constituting us into useful persons for His coming and His kingdom (2 Cor. 13:14).

He is doing it; the fact that we are here, reading this and enjoying the Lord with the saints in the church life shows that we are learning, we are being discipled.

The Triune God with His embodiment, His redemption, and His Spirit, is constituting us into useful persons. May we simply cooperate with Him in this process by telling Him,

Lord Jesus, show us what it means to cooperate with the Divine Trinity. We want to give You our best cooperation for You to gain what You are after. Amen, Lord, gain the prevailing prayers that will cause You to produce those who are useful in Your hand to end this age and bring in the kingdom. Train us, Lord. Disciple us to cooperate with You. Make us those who pray the prayers that You need for You to move Your hand and end this age. Produce us to be those who end this confused situation, end this age, and bring in the age of the kingdom! Amen, Lord Jesus, show us the urgent need for some to pray prevailing prayers for God’s goal and for the qualified ones to be used by God to terminate the confused situation among God’s people and bring in the age of the kingdom with Christ the King!

Seeing that the Triune God is Involved with us to accomplish His Will, Fulfill His Purpose, and Satisfy the Desire of His Heart

We must learn to cooperate with the Divine Trinity. The Divine Trinity is the model of our Christian life. Among the Divine Trinity there is no warfare. The Father is happy to exalt the Son, the Son is very willing to subject Himself to the Father, and the Spirit is willing to testify concerning the Son. Our “human trinity” is not like this. Therefore, we need a Savior. This Savior is the Divine Trinity, who has come into our spirit. After we are saved, our “human trinity” needs to follow the indwelling Divine Trinity. In our salvation we should cooperate with the Savior who is indwelling us. Eventually, our entire being—spirit, soul, and body—will glorify the Divine Trinity. This cooperation with the indwelling Trinity will result in His glorification, His expression, and His manifestation. Messages to the Trainees in Fall 1990, Chapter 6, by Witness LeeIt is crucial for us to see that the Triune God is involved with us today, fr He operates in us to accomplish His will, fulfill His desire, and satisfy the desire of His heart (Phil. 2:13; Heb. 13:21; Eph. 1:5, 9, 11; 5:17; Col. 1:9; Rom. 12:2; Rev. 4:11).

May the Lord enlighten our eyes to see and realize that the Triune God is involved with us today. He is not expecting us to do this and that without Him being fully involved.

He has a heart’s desire, a purpose, and a will, and the Divine Trinity is needed for all these to be accomplished.

1 and 2 Samuel reveal that the bringing in of the king and the setting up of the kingdom depend on the involvement of the Divine Trinity with us today.

The Triune God is involved with us to operate in us for the accomplishing of His will, the fulfillment of His purpose, and the satisfying of the desire of His heart.

We need to learn to cooperate with the Divine Trinity as He operates in our Christian life. The Divine Trinity is our pattern, our model in our Christian life.

There’s no warfare among the Divine Trinity; rather, the father is happy to exalt the Son, the Son is very willing to subject Himself to the Father, and the Spirit is willing to testify concerning the Son.

We are not like this, so we need a Savior; we need the Divine Trinity, which has come into our spirit to save us.

We need to realize that the Divine Trinity is involved with us to accomplish His will and carry out the desire of His heart.

For it is God who operates in you both the willing and the working for [His] good pleasure. Phil. 2:13 Perfect you in every good work for the doing of His will, doing in us that which is well pleasing in His sight through Jesus Christ; to Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen. Heb. 13:21 You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, for You have created all things, and because of Your will they were, and were created. Rev. 4:11May we open to the Lord concerning this and ask Him to make us clear about how the Triune God is involved with us today.

May we pray this to Him and allow Him to shine on us. He wants to return; He wants to produce the overcomers so that He may end this age and bring in the age of the kingdom with the King.

However, for this, He needs our cooperation. And we cooperate by first realizing that the Triune God is involved with us, being one with us and doing everything in us for the fulfilment of His will.

If we see the vision of the Triune God being involved with us to operate in us for the fulfilling of His heart’s desire, our concept about what it means to be a Christian will be revolutionized (see Acts 26:19; Rom. 12:7-8; 2 Cor. 5:14-15; Eph. 3:16-17).

Our natural, religious, cultural, moral, and ethical concepts concerning the Christian life need to be replaced with a vision of the fully involved Triune God (Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14; Eph. 4:4-6; Rev. 1:4-7).

We do not know how much our natural, religious, cultural, moral, and ethical concepts concerning the Christian life are different from what the Bible says concerning it; it is under the Lord’s shining that we realize it, and it is His mercy that these can be replaced by a vision.

May we all see a vision of the fully involved Triune God and realize that the Triune God is involved with us for the fulfillment of His purpose.

And the best thing we can do is to pray,

Lord Jesus, we present ourselves to You, in You, and through You as the burnt offering, for You are the only One absolute for God. We renew our consecration to You, Lord, for the sake of the will of God, the purpose of God, and the desire of God’s heart. Work Yourself as the Divine Trinity into us to make us useful brothers and sisters who, by our prayer, serving, gospel preaching, and functioning in the church life, will open the way for You the King to come with the kingdom on the earth. Lord, change our concepts and renew us in every way. Open our mind to understand that the Triune God is involved with us for the fulfillment of God’s desire. Amen, Lord, constitute us with Yourself that we may be those whom You need, the Hannahs and Samuels of today, to open the way for the King and the kingdom to come soon! Amen, Lord, we believe that it is You who operate in us to carry out Your will, for the Divine Trinity is fully involved with us. Have Your way in us and with us, Lord, for the crushing of Your enemy, the ending of this age, and the bringing in of Your kingdom!
