Our Regeneration and Calling on the Name of the Lord are a Miraculous Normality

That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. John 3:6

Regeneration is the greatest miracle, yet it takes place in a normal way, a miraculous normality in our Christian life; similarly, calling on the name of the Lord is a normality, yet miraculously, when we call we get the totality of the Triune God. Hallelujah!

May we be those who live a life of ordinary days in the divine dispensing according to the miraculous normality of the divine economy. May our days be filled with normal things, routine matters, that are under the divine dispensing.

We just need to be open vessels to the Lord, opening our being to Him so that He would dispense Himself into us.

The things of God that we experience are miraculous, for we can experience the Triune God in His divine dispensing.

At the same time, these things are so normal, for we can experience what God is in a normal way, daily, without anything spectacular happening to us.

God is our Father; we are born of God, yet we are still men who live a daily, normal life under the divine dispensing.

As we are taking care of the daily matters of our human living, we can be one spirit with the Lord; this is both normal and miraculous.

There is another Person living inside of us; this One is our life and our life supply, and we can enjoy Him and live one spirit with Him.

But when we live one spirit with the Lord, though this is miraculous, yet it is so normal, with nothing out of ordinary. Oh, Lord!

Our Christian life is a life of daily living under the divine dispensing, a life of ordinary days in the miraculous normality of the divine economy. In His economy, God is dispensing Himself into us.

This is taking place from eternity to eternity. On our side, when we repent and open to the Lord, we receive the divine dispensing.

And now He is in us – He’s right there in our mouth and in our heart, and as soon as we exercise our spirit, we contact Him, we flow Him out, and He is expressed through us.

We are daily living in the process of learning to live one spirit with the Lord, doing the things of our ordinary daily life under the divine dispensing.

We don’t try to overcome or be victorious; we simply keep our vessel to the Lord, allowing Him to work Himself into us.

May we be open to the Lord to learn and be trained on how to live under the divine dispensing, enjoying Him day by day and even moment by moment, in all the daily things and in every situation.

It is our destiny to live a normal life in the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity.

Our heavenly Father destined us to live in an ordinary way under His continual dispensing.

May we learn to do this every day.

May we learn to live not just in the human history outwardly, taking care of so many things that are needed, but even more to live in the divine history by living ordinary days in the divine dispensing according to the miraculous normality of the divine economy.

Our Regeneration is a Miraculous Normality in our Christian Life

Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless one is born anew, he cannot see the kingdom of God...Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. John 3:3, 5-6Before we became a believer we may have wondered how can man contact God and receive God.

We may have read many books and realized that knowing God and contacting God is a great matter.

Even after our regeneration, we may have read some teachings of the inner-life Christian teachers who have tried to expound on what it is to be regenerated, and we may have been quite amazed and confused at this whole thing.

But according to the Bible, to be regenerated is to receive the divine life, the life of God, in addition to our human life.

Regeneration is a miracle, for a human being is born of God. When someone calls on the name of the Lord for the first time and receives the Lord into him, he receives another life, the divine life.

Therefore, such a person is regenerated with God’s life.

At the same time, this is something so normal, for there is nothing supernatural or extraordinary that happens outwardly.

When someone repents and believes into the Lord, there are no tongues of fire or lightning from heaven to confirm this; he simply receives the Lord into his spirit, and he is regenerated.

To be regenerated is to be born of the Spirit; when we were born of our parents, we were born of the flesh to be flesh, but when we’re born of God, we receive the divine life to be God-men (John 3:3-6).

We are regenerated not by the will of man or by the will of the flesh – we are regenerated by receiving the life of God, and by receiving this life, we have the authority to be called children of God (John 1:12-13).

When someone receives the life of God, he is born of God.

He may not feel much inwardly and there may not be any outward supernatural sign, but he is born of God in his spirit.

D. L. Moody once said, The greatest miracle in the universe is that man can be regenerated.

This is absolutely true; it is a miracle that we can be regenerated, yet this is so normal.

It is a miraculous normality that we can be regenerated with the life of God.

When we go to preach the gospel or we share concerning the Lord with our friends and relatives, we don’t command fire from heaven to prove that God is real; we simply share something concerning Christ, and if they open their heart and spirit, they are regenerated to be born again.

Having been regenerated not of corruptible seed but of incorruptible, through [the] living and abiding word of God. 1 Pet. 1:23 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the authority to become children of God, to those who believe into His name, Who were begotten not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:12-13There’s nothing outwardly that is spectacular or out of ordinary; however, inwardly someone receives the life of God to be a child of God. Hallelujah! This miraculous normality can be experienced day by day!

Regeneration is miraculous, yet it is so normal.

Regeneration is a normality that is miraculous, a miraculous normality in our Christian life (John 3:3, 5-6, 8; 1 Pet. 1:23).

As believers in Christ who already have the life of God in their spirit, we can live this miraculous normality of bringing others to be regenerated.

There’s great joy in heaven when a sinner believes into the Lord, and in our heart there’s much appreciation and amazement; however, outwardly nothing spectacular takes place. How wonderful!

As believers in Christ, we realize that we are born of God, for many times we want to do something or say something, and this One in us speaks to us, limits us, bothers us, or supplies us.

How amazing yet now normal this is! In our daily living we, the regenerated ones, do not just do things or go places, we don’t just say things or act outwardly; we learn to live by this another life, the divine life, and though this is amazing and miraculous, yet it is so normal!

Lord, thank You for regenerating us with Your life to make us children of God! Hallelujah, we who received the Lord as our life have the authority to be children of God! Wow, we were born of God, and this is not of the will of man or of the flesh but we are born of God, and God is our Father! Thank You, Lord, for imparting Your life into us. We are born of the Spirit to be not just men but God-men. What a miracle, yet how normal! What a miraculous matter that we can be born of God, yet this is so normal. Thank You, Lord, for this miraculous normality in our Christian life, that we can be born of God and that we can help others to be born of God!

Calling on the Name of the Lord is a Normality that is Miraculous, for by Calling we Receive the Triune God!

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord is Lord of all and rich to all who call upon Him. Rom. 10:12

Not only is regeneration a miraculous normality, but our calling on the name of the Lord is also a miraculous normality.

When we call on the name of the Lord, we receive the processed Triune God!

When we call on the name of a living person, that person comes to us and we have their presence; then, they can help us with things or can give something to us.

When it comes to the matter of calling on the name of the Lord, there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord is Lord of all and rich to all who call upon Him (Rom. 10:12).

Whether we are a Jew or Greek, British or Ghanaian, Polish or American, Russian or Ukrainian, Romanian or Turkish, or any other nationality: as long as we call on the Lord, we are saved!

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord is Lord of all and rich to all who call upon Him; For "whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Rom. 10:12-13 But the righteousness which is out of faith speaks in this way, Do not say in your heart, "Who will ascend into heaven?" that is, to bring Christ down; Or, "Who will descend into the abyss?" that is, to bring Christ up from the dead. Rom. 10:6-7Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord is saved and enjoys the riches of God in Christ.

When we call someone’s name, he may come to us, and this is not that extraordinary.

But when we call on the name of the Lord, we receive and enjoy the processed and consummated Triune God.

When we call, O Lord Jesus, we can enjoy all that God is! When we call, O Lord Jesus! again and again, we enjoy His riches.

And it is so normal to call on the name of the Lord! Wherever we are, whatever we do, and whoever we are, we can just call on the name of the Lord!

We can call on the Lord’s name in any way, at any time, in any place, and all the time! As we call, O Lord Jesus! O Lord Jesus! we are saved from ourselves and we enjoy the riches of Christ.

When we call on the name of the Lord, though it is so normal, we miraculously enjoy God!

It is miraculous to receive and enjoy the processed and consummated Triune God, yet this is so normal and so easy: we can simply call on the name of the Lord!

There’s no need to do certain rituals, to improve ourselves, or to go through a certain routine before we can contact God.

We can come to Him as we are and simply call on the name of the Lord. This is so normal, yet it is altogether miraculous.

We don’t need to wait until we get better and we don’t need to wait for a while until we can touch God; we can simply call, O Lord Jesus, and we contact the Triune God and receive more of His divine dispensing! Wow, Hallelujah!

We may be driving to work or we may be about to go to bed, and we can simply call on the name of the Lord and receive the riches of God into our being.

We can take the dog for a walk or we may cook dinner, and as we do this, we can call on the name of the Lord to enjoy His sweet presence and partake of His riches!

Rom. 10:6-7 shows us how normal it is to call on the Lord and enjoy His riches; we don’t have to go up to heaven to bring Christ down nor do we need to descend to the abyss to resurrect Him from the dead: we can simply call on His name!

He is right there in our heart and in our mouth, and we can just say, O Lord Jesus!

God prepared everything for us: He went through a process to be a life-giving Spirit, and as the Spirit He’s everywhere around us and even in us, waiting for us to call on Him to breathe Him in!

When we call, O Lord Jesus, we obtain salvation. When we call, O Lord Jesus, we receive God’s riches.

The Lord as the Spirit is already in our mouth and in our heart.

He as the Word is in our hands and within us.

We just need to receive His word and contact Him as the Spirit, and He will be our supply.

When we contact the Lord again and again by calling on His name, we are miraculously filled with the Triune God yet normally living a normal Christian life, with nothing spectacularly happening outwardly. Wow! What a miraculous normality!

The Lord as the Spirit is already in your mouth and in your heart. The Lord as the Word is also already in our hands and within us. Now you need only to receive the word and contact this Spirit, and the Lord will become your supply. Then day by day you will be saved and filled with the Holy Spirit, and you will allow the Holy Spirit to descend upon you. This should be your daily experience…Brother Moody once said, “The greatest miracle in the universe is that man can be regenerated.”… Every day in the spiritual life, we can experience this great thing in the universe. It is miraculous yet normal. Therefore, it is a miraculous normality. Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1987, vol. 2, “Words of Training for the New Way,” pp. 172-173Day by day we can be saved and filled with the Holy Spirit by calling on the name of the Lord simply by calling on the name of the Lord.

We can testify that in the church life, we experience calling on the name of the Lord in a normal, daily, and even routine way, and we receive the Lord as our life and everything.

We may be on an airplane travelling somewhere or we may just take a shower; no matter what we do, can call on the Lord’s name in a normal way and miraculously be saved and enjoy the riches of the Triune God inwardly!

This is the kind of life that we should live today as believers in Christ; we need to live daily as an open vessel being satisfied with an ordinary life under the divine dispensing.

We need to call on the name of the Lord day by day, even moment by moment so that we live not only in the outward, human realm but even more, live in the divine realm.

Such ones who live in the two realms at the same time, living one spirit with the Lord as they take care of the outward things, are rapture ready.

The Lord can steal us as His treasures, His overcoming ones, when He returns hiddenly to rapture His overcomers when we live an ordinary life in the divine dispensing according to the miraculous normality of the divine economy.

Even when we’re tired, we can still remain in contact with the Lord, abiding in Him and calling on His name to live in the divine realm as the reality of living in the human realm outwardly.

Dear Lord Jesus, grant us the grace and mercy to be an open vessel to You for the rest of our days. No matter what our situation is and no matter how we feel, keep us calling on Your name to be freshly saved and enjoy the riches of the Triune God. Lord, we open to You from the depths of our being. We hold nothing back from You. You know where we are and what we are. We love You. We trust You. Do whatever You will in us, with us, through us, and around us. O Lord Jesus! We are satisfied with normal days in the divine dispensing. We want nothing more than ordinary days in the divine dispensing according to the miraculous normality of the divine economy!

According to my study of the Bible and my Christian experiences, I realized that in my Christian life the things that I experience of Christ, of the Triune God, of the Spirit, and of the divine life with the divine nature are altogether normal to me. They are a normality. At the beginning of my Christian life, I read the writings of some inner-life teachers who taught that all these spiritual and divine things were great miracles that were not easy to attain. They indicated that a number of requirements had to be fulfilled for us to reach a point at which we were qualified to receive these miracles. I tried to experience these things according to the instructions given in their books. Eventually, I found out that the experiences of the Spirit in God’s New Testament economy were not according to what they taught. Actually, all the spiritual and divine things that are provided by God for our enjoyment are altogether normal. They are normalities. But I also found out that these normalities are miraculous to the uttermost. Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1987, vol. 3, “The Scriptural Way to Meet and to Serve for the Building Up of the Body of Christ,” p. 387

Wow, brother, regeneration is the greatest miracle, yet it takes place in a normal way; thus, regeneration is a normality that is miraculous, a miraculous normality in our Christian life.

Calling on the name of the Lord is so normal, yet it causes us to touch God.

Hallelujah. Lord, keep us calling. Keep us contacting You in a normal and daily way day by day to enjoy all Your riches!

How wonderful redemption is. Our regeneration is the greatest miracle in the universe.

And yet it’s a miraculous normality. Once we are regenerated, the Lord-Spirit is in our mouth and in our heart.

We need simply to invoque Jesus name at any time and in any place and we immediately receive the Triune God! How marvellous!

Surely to be able to receive the Triune God is the top miracle in life.

Regeneration is a marvellous miraculous normality.

Our God has prepared all His salvation for us.

We only need to open our mouths and call O Lord Jesus! and we get the person of that name.

This miraculous normality is truly the miracle of miracles.

It’s miraculous and yet normal & straightforward.

Thank You Lord for making Yourself so accessible & available.

Yes, very true brother.

Whenever we call His name, the Triune God is coming into us without making any effort.

It is like the normal breathing of Oxygen.

If we stop breathing, our body will die. The same is true with the calling of His name.

That means whenever we stop calling His name, our spirit will definitely die.

Therefore, we need to experience calling this wonderful and powerful name, Jesus, every time and place.

Praise the Lord for His passing through all the processes so that we can be saved all the time till the end.

Dear brother, regeneration – the addition of the divine life to our human life – is a miraculous normality.

We can be saved and supplied by simply receiving the word and contact the Spirit at any time or in any place simply by calling O Lord Jesus!

When we call on the Lord we receive Him and are filled with the Holy Spirit to enjoy and experience Him, day by day.

Both regeneration and calling are both normal and miraculous – miracles because in these we receive the processed Triune God and all that He is – Hallelujah!
