The Church Life is Fellowship, and it is the Continuation of the Divine Glorification

Eph. 3:21 To Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus unto all the generations forever and ever. Amen.

The church life as seen in God's word is so wonderful, and in a practical way, the church life is fellowship - it is the mutual flowing of the divine life in the Body of Christ. The reality of the church life is fellowship; if we want to see … [Continue reading]

The Church Life is a life of being Headed up in Christ, the Unique Head of the Body

The church life is a life of being headed up. If we truly want to have a glorious church, we must be willing to be headed up. All around us, at school, at work, and in the government, we see nothing but a state of collapse; nothing is headed up. But in the proper church life we are being headed up. This heading up in the church life is the beginning of God’s heading up of all things. Under Christ and through the church, God will head up all things in the universe. This is the mystery of God’s will. Ultimately, the mystery of God’s will in the universe is to head up all things in Christ. Witness Lee, Life-study of Ephesians, p. 70

Due to the rebellion of Satan and of man, the whole universe is in a heap of collapse and in rebellion against God, but in the church life we are being headed up in Christ so that, through the church, God would have a way to head up all things in the … [Continue reading]

Having a Genuine Experience of Christ and Being Transformed for the Church Life

The genuine experience of Christ always issues in and requires the church life. The more we experience Christ, the more something within requires that we live in the proper church life. When we experience Christ in a genuine and living way, He will require us to get into the church life because the dispensing of Christ into us is for the producing of the church - Rom. 8:11; 12:2-21. God dispenses Himself into us as everything for the purpose of gaining His corporate expression, which is the church - Eph. 3:16-21. When we take Christ as our life, our person, and our everything, this Christ within us will require the proper church life; in fact, the Christ in us will become the church life. The Recovery of the Church (2017 fall ITERO), outline 5

The church life is nothing else but Christ lived out through us in a corporate way, so we need to learn to be inward Christians who are being transformed for the practice of the church life. The church life is a new living, a new society, a new … [Continue reading]

I have the assurance that before the Lord comes back, He will fully recover the proper church life. Witness Lee

Being Properly Aggressive in the Lord’s Recovery for His Interests on Earth Today

Acts 26:22 Having therefore obtained the help which is from God, I have stood unto this day, testifying both to small and great, saying nothing apart from the things which both the prophets and Moses have said would take place.

Nehemiah is a pattern to us, and him being properly aggressive for the Lord and His interest, having a heart for the Lord's recovery of the city of God, the rebuilding of the wall of the city, is something we all need to learn to have. The crucial … [Continue reading]

God’s Recovery of His Kingdom goes Together with His Recovery of His House

1 Pet. 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people acquired for a possession, so that you may tell out the virtues of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

The crucial point in the book of Nehemiah is the rebuilding of the city of Jerusalem with its wall as a safeguard and protection for God's house within the city; this typifies God's recovery of His kingdom, which goes along with His recovery of His … [Continue reading]
