Having a Mingling Living Today to Consummate New Jerusalem, the Great Meal Offering

...Christ in you, the hope of glory. Col. 1:27 When Christ our life is manifested... Col. 3:4

As the mingling of the Triune God with the tripartite man, the New Jerusalem will be a great meal offering, the ultimate consummation of the mingling of the Triune god with the tripartite man.

Hallelujah, for eternity we will enjoy the Lord, partake of Him, and be filled with Him to be a continual, eternal meal offering for God to be satisfied and for man to be supplied.

Today our Christian life should be a banquet, feasting on the Lord as our feast of unleavened bread until He returns. Amen!

The church life needs to be a mingling living of humanity oiled by and with the Spirit, and joined to the Spirit.

We need to be brought into another realm, the realm of being mingled with the Triune God.

In this realm, we enjoy the Lord, partake of Him, and live because of Him.

He is our life and we become His living, His expression. May we be such ones in the church life today.

May we love the Lord and His appearing, and may we look forward to His coming so that we may be kept in the realm of having Christ as our humanity.

The humanity that we received by our birth from our parents need to be uplifted, resurrected, and brought into the realm of the humanity of Christ.

What we need is not more improvement or cultivation of our human virtues; what we need is to eat Jesus in His humanity, partaking of Him in His word, and living because of Him and in Him.

As believers in Christ, we need to not just live in an ethical or moral way but have the same human living as Jesus did.

We need to live one spirit with the Lord and live because of Him so that Christ lives in us the same kind of life that He lived while on the earth.

Especially as we are learning to serve the Lord, we need to be safeguarded in our humanity by praying in the Holy Spirit to keep ourselves in the love God.

May we have such a daily living. May we utter many short and living prayers to the Lord so that He would work Himself into our being little by little, day by day.

And may we die daily; may we die with the Lord a little bit day by day so that He would live in us.

When we die one with the Lord to the self, the world, and sin, Christ has a way to live in us.

As we die to ourselves, the reality of resurrection is manifested in us.

May the Lord gain a meal-offering church life among us for the satisfaction of God and the supply of man!

New Jerusalem will be a Great Meal Offering, the Consummation of the Mingling of God with Man

As the mingling of the Triune God with the tripartite man, the New Jerusalem will be a great meal offering, the ultimate consummation of the mingling of the Triune God with the tripartite man — Lev. 2:4; 2 Cor. 13: 14; 1 Thes. 5:23. 2023 Spring ITERO, outline 2

The meal offering has an eternal significance and consummation; it is not merely an offering mentioned in the Old Testament but something that we eat, are constituted with, and become, even something we will be for eternity!

Today in the church age we can eat Christ and live because of Him; we can eat the humanity of Jesus in His word, and we can live out the humanity of Jesus.

For eternity, as the New Jerusalem, we will be a great meal offering, the ultimate consummation of the mingling of the Triune God and the tripartite man (Lev. 2:4; 2 Cor. 13:14; 1 Thes. 5:23). Amen!

In the New Jerusalem, we see the consummation of the mingling of God with man, the mingling of the Triune God with the tripartite man.

It had a great and high wall and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names inscribed, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel...And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb...And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each one of the gates was, respectively, of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass. Rev. 21:12, 14, 21The mingling of God and man is seen in type in Lev. 2:4 with the meal offering, which is composed of fine flour mingled with oil.

It is fulfilled in the New Testament in the one loaf, the bread, the Body of Christ, of which we all partake and which we become.

And it consummates in the New Jerusalem as the consummation of the mingling of the Triune God and the tripartite man.

The New Jerusalem is not a physical, heavenly mansion, nor is it something that we go to or receive in an outward way; it is the consummation of the mingling of God and man.

Just as fine flour was mingled with oil and other elements to become an unleavened bread, so we are mingled with the Triune God to become an unleavened bread for God’s satisfaction and man’s supply.

The Triune God is being mingled with us today, day by day, and for eternity, and this mingling consummates in the New Jerusalem.

In the New Jerusalem, there are four sides with three gates on each side, totalling twelve gates.

The number four refers to God’s creation, and three refers to the Triune God.

In Rev. 4:6 we see the four living creatures, which represent all the other living creatures (Ezek. 1:5-14).

Four refers to us as God’s creatures, while three refers to the Triune God.

Twelve, therefore, being the multiplication of three and four, refers to the mingling of God and man, the blending of God with man.

The entire New Jerusalem is a blending, a mingling of the Triune God with the tripartite man.

God is mingled with us, His creature, to become an eternal entity called the New Jerusalem. God’s desire is to mingle Himself with man.

He created man in His image and according to His likeness, and His intention is to mingle Himself with man so that man and God, God and man, would be a mingling entity.

Twelve – seen everywhere in the New Jerusalem – is the number of absolute perfection and eternal completion in God’s administration.

In the Old Testament God administrated His government through the twelve tribes, and in the New Testament, there were the twelve apostles preaching for the producing of the churches.

And on this side and on that side of the river was the tree of life, producing twelve fruits, yielding its fruit each month; and the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. Rev. 22:2 And I heard a loud voice out of the throne, saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will tabernacle with them, and they will be His peoples, and God Himself will be with them and be their God...And I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. Rev. 21:3, 22The churches are in the New Testament God’s government for His administration.

The number twelve indicates God’s governmental administration, and the entire New Jerusalem will be the consummation of God’s administration.

This is why the centre of New Jerusalem is God’s throne, which is for God’s governmental administration.

The whole Bible shows that the Triune God went through a process in order to accomplish His heart’s desire, so that He can gain what He is after.

He went through incarnation, human living, crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension, and He became a life-giving Spirit in order to enter into us and mingle Himself with us.

When we believe into the Lord, we are mingled with the Triune God, and we are daily in a process of being more mingled with the Triune God.

Eventually, the eternal Triune God becomes the New Jerusalem by being united, mingled, and incorporated with all of us, the believers in Christ. How wonderful!

Today we can have a foretaste of this by enjoying the Lord and by living in the mingled spirit; today we can become the church life as the corporate meal offering for God’s satisfaction and man’s supply.

And our destiny is for us to become the New Jerusalem, the great meal offering as the consummation of the mingling of God with man. Hallelujah!

Thank You, dear Lord Jesus, for coming into our spirit to mingle Yourself with us. We open to You to be mingled with You a little more today. Keep us in the process of being mingled with the Triune God. Hallelujah, we are joined to the Lord as one spirit, and we are in the process of being mingled with the Lord day by day! Amen, Lord, keep us in this mingling process until we become the New Jerusalem, the consummation of God being mingled with man! We open to You, dear Lord. Spread from our spirit into our mind, emotion, and will, and mingle Your divinity with our humanity. Mingle Yourself with us as we read the word of God. Mingle Yourself with us as we take care of the daily activities. We love our mingled spirit, Lord! Keep us in our mingled spirit and keep us in the process of being mingled with God until we become the New Jerusalem!

Having a Mingling Living as the Reality of the Body today to Consummate the New Jerusalem

As the living Father has sent Me and I live because of the Father, so he who eats Me, he also shall live because of Me. John 6:57 I am crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. Gal. 2:20What we enjoy and experience today is what we will enter into and inherit in eternity.

If today we enjoy the Lord, partake of His riches, and are mingled with Him, for eternity we will be enjoying the Lord, partaking of His riches, and being mingled with Him.

As believers in Christ, we need to live in the reality of the Body of Christ.

This reality is not just a corporate living but the mingling living in the eternal union of the regenerated, transformed, glorified men with the Triune God.

We need to live in the mingling living as the reality of the Body of Christ, that is, we need to live in the mingled spirit one with the Lord.

The reality of the Body of Christ is the mingling living in the organic union with the Lord.

We, the believers in Christ who are tripartite God-men in the process of being regenerated, transformed, and glorified, are being mingled with the Triune God.

On His side, the Triune God went through a certain process to become the pneumatic Christ, the life-giving Spirit, as the embodiment of the processed and consummated Triune God.

On our side, we simply need to remain in the mingled spirit and have a mingling living as we live in the reality of the Body of Christ today.

We need to remain in the process of being mingled with the Lord day by day.

The mingling living as the reality of the Body of Christ will consummate ultimately in the New Jerusalem in the new heaven and new earth for eternity.

If we today remain in the mingling living and thus live in the reality of the Body of Christ, we will eternally be God’s increase and expression as the New Jerusalem.

If we have a mingling living today, if today we remain in the mingled spirit and allow the Lord to mingle Himself with us, we will not be a trouble to anyone, and no one will trouble us.

Having mingling living means that we are delivered from ourselves and we are being transformed and perfected.

The reality of the Body of Christ is not just a corporate living but…the mingling living in the eternal union of the regenerated, transformed, glorified tripartite God-men with the Triune God in the resurrection of Christ. This Triune God is the very pneumatic Christ as the embodiment of the processed and consummated Triune God, who is the all-inclusive Spirit as the reality of the pneumatic Christ and as the consummation of the processed Triune God. Such a mingling living as the reality of the Body of Christ will consummate ultimately in the New Jerusalem in the new heaven and new earth as God’s increase and expression for eternity. Anyone who lives such a mingling life would never be a trouble to anyone. They have been delivered out of themselves and have been transformed and perfected. Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1994-1997, vol. 1, “The Practical Points concerning Blending,” pp. 130-131May we remain here, in this mingling living, for the Lord to work Himself into us.

May we allow the Lord to transform and perfect us, and may we yearn to abide in the Lord, in the eternal union with the Triune God.

We may touch this union with God from time to time, but we need to learn to abide here, and remain in the reality of the Body of Christ by having a mingling living in the eternal union with the Triune God in the resurrection of Christ.

Instead of trying to perfect ourselves or improve the things that seem to be defects or weaknesses, we need to simply have the mingling living in the reality of the Body of Christ.

And if we don’t know how to do this, we can simply open to the Lord and ask Him how to do it.

We can have many intimate, personal, face-to-face conversations with the Lord, telling Him to mingle Himself with us and just allowing Him to mingle Himself with us so that we can have a mingling living consummating in the New Jerusalem as a great meal offering, the consummation of the mingling of God with man.

The Spirit of reality in us will guide us into all the reality when we ask Him to bring us into the mingling of God with man.

We need to just learn to open to the Lord and ask Him,

Lord Jesus, we want to have the mingling living today so that we may live in the reality of the Body of Christ. Thank You for making us one with You in spirit. Mingle Yourself more with us today. Keep us in the eternal union of the Triune God with the tripartite man. We want to have the mingling living in the union of God with man until we become the New Jerusalem! Amen, Lord Jesus, keep us in the reality of the Body of Christ today. Keep us living a mingling life so that we may be delivered out of ourselves, be transformed, and be perfected. Dear Lord Jesus, we love You! We want to be mingled with You today. More mingling, dear Lord! Mingle Yourself with us until we become a great meal offering, the New Jerusalem as the consummation of the mingling of God with man!

There are three gates on each of the four sides of the holy city…Therefore, there are a total of twelve gates on four sides. The number four refers to God’s creation.

In Revelation 4:6 we see that the four living creatures represent all other living creatures (cf. Ezek. 1:5-14). Four refers to us as God’s creatures, and three refers to the Triune God…

The number twelve is mingled, or blended, by three times four. This means that the entire New Jerusalem is a blending, a mingling, of the Triune God with us human beings. God is mingled with His creature man in His eternal administration in the New Jerusalem. Twelve is the number of absolute perfection and eternal completion in God’s administration. In the Old Testament, God administrated His government through the twelve tribes…

In the New Testament the twelve apostles’ preaching was for the producing of the churches, and the churches are God’s government for God’s administration…The number twelve indicates God’s governmental administration, and the entire New Jerusalem will be the consummation of God’s administration.

This is why the center of the New Jerusalem is God’s throne, which is mainly for God’s governmental administration.

The New Jerusalem is the full mingling – the consummation of the meal offering of fine flour with the oil – the Triune God with the Tripartite man. Praise the Lord!

God not only took the trouble to save us, for us to be redeemed but also to join Himself to us to be regenerated.

Hallelujah! Mingling is the way for to become the New Jerusalem! Yes , Lord we need a deeper mingling!

What wonderful God we have brother!

Praise to Him for all He passed through many processes:

1) Incarnation,
2) living 33 & half years on this spoiled earth,
3) Crucifixion,
4) Resurrection
5) Ascension so that He can build His Church as one body by His mathematical multiplication of:

3X4=12 (foundation)
Which is mingling of the TRIUNE GOD WITH HIS CREATURES!

Therefore, Christianity is not an individualistic life, but it is the many-one or Church life. The Lord’s main heart desire is on His One body. We all are called to be members of this one organic body, The church, His bride so that we can feast together in His wedding soon!

Praise to the Lord for His Judicial redemption and Organic Salvation of us to live with Him eternally.

Amen

This week, we have seen that the reality of the Body of Christ isn’t just a corporate living but the mingling living of the God-men with the Triune God in the resurrection of Christ.

It’s this kind of living which will consummate in the New Jerusalem as God’s increase & expression for eternity. God isn’t seeking good ethical people.

He desires His people to be one spirit with Him all the time.

May we lay aside the old man and the sin that so easily entangles us, and look away to Jesus, believing that He is fully able to transform & perfect us to be in the reality of the mingling living.

We need to so learn Christ and allow Him to make home in our hearts…

Yes, mingling is the way!
