Our Eternal Blessing is the Divine Dispensing: the River flowing out of the Throne of God

And he showed me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb in the middle of its street. Rev. 22:1

Our eternal blessing is nothing else but the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity into us – the river of water of life flowing out of the throne of God and reaching us, flowing in us, and flowing through us!

The divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity can be seen in the New Jerusalem for eternity with the river of water of life proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb, with the tree of life on both sides of the river, to supply us for eternity!

Hallelujah, we will enjoy and experience the divine Dispensing of the Divine Trinity as our eternal blessing for all eternity!

Today we have a foretaste; in this age, we taste and see that the Lord is good, and we aspire to enter into the full taste.

For eternity, however, we will enter into the full enjoyment of this wonderful One who is everything to us.

Through regeneration, we believers in Christ received a new life; now we have the divine life in addition to the human life.

The divine life is not a static life – it is a living, flowing, dynamic life, a life that flows in us all the time.

We may have not realized this but, at the time of our regeneration, we were “plugged into the Triune God”, and He flows in us all the time.

He flowed into our spirit, and from our spirit, He wants to flow in every part of our being.

The Father is the fountain, the source; the Son is the springing up, the course; the Spirit is the flowing out of the Son with the Father.

God the Father is the source as love, God the Son as grace is the course of the love of the Father, and God the Spirit as fellowship is the flowing and transmission of the love of God and the grace of Christ for our enjoyment.

God is triune not for our theological study and understanding but for us to apprehend how God, in His marvellous and mysterious Divine Trinity, dispenses Himself into us so that we may enjoy God, participate in God, and flow out God.

Christ lives in us, the Spirit is in our spirit, and God is the One who inhabits us; the entire Triune God lives in us, flows in us, and moves in us.

As soon as we turn to Him simply by calling on His name, we enjoy the flow of the Triune God.

There is an inner circulating Triune God in our being. He is always moving and spreading, even though we may not feel it.

Just as we don’t feel the circulation of the blood in our human body but we know it is there and keeps us alive, so the Triune God is circulating, moving, and flowing in our being to maintain our spiritual life.

We simply need to contact Him, remain in the mingled spirit, and seek to be one with Him in everything we do and say.

When we contact the Triune God, He keeps flowing in us a little more.

When we meet with the saints and open to the Lord, the inner circulating Triune God keeps moving and flowing.

When we all allow the Lord to circulate, move, and flow in us, we will be filled with Him to dispense Him into others.

He is the unique blessing of the universe, He is our eternal blessing, and we have Him and can minister Him to others for the accomplishment of God’s heart’s desire, the testimony of Jesus!

Enjoy the Divine Dispensing under the Throne of God with the River of Water of Life

And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon that they should shine in it, for the glory of God illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb. Rev. 21:23

God’s heart is good toward us: He wants to dispense Himself into us not only now, in our lifetime, but also for eternity.

In the New Jerusalem, we see the river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb, and on both sides of the river there is the tree of life (Rev. 22:1-2).

On one hand, today we enjoy the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity by calling on the Lord’s name and having fellowship with Him.

On the other hand, we will be enjoying the divine dispensing for eternity, as seen in Rev. 21-22.

And today we can enjoy a foretaste of the New Jerusalem as we remain under the throne of God, are cleansed by the blood of the redeeming Lamb of God, drink the river of water of life, walk on the golden street of fellowship, and eat the tree of life.

In eternity the very God who sits on the throne is the Lamb-God, our redeeming God, from whose throne proceeds the river of water of life along with the tree of life for our supply and satisfaction.

And he showed me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb in the middle of its street. And on this side and on that side of the river was the tree of life, producing twelve fruits, yielding its fruit each month; and the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. Rev. 22:1-2God and the Lamb are on the throne in the center of New Jerusalem, the highest place in the holy city.

Also, the Lamb is the lamp, for God as the light is in Christ as the lamb to shine.

The One who redeemed us also the One who enlightens us, and the One who shines on us with God as light is the Redeeming One.

As the Lord enlightens us, we sense our need for His redemption; without His redemption, it is impossible for us to experience His enlightening.

The goal and issue of our experience of the light and the redeeming blood is that we are brought under the Lord’s authority; we enthrone Him as our Lord.

The Lord shines on us, we see our sin and confess it, and He forgives us; we then enthrone Him as Lord in our being.

However, sometimes we are not under the throne of God; rather, we dethrone God and we put ourselves on the throne.

Sometimes neither the husband nor the wife is under the headship of Christ but under “their own headship”.

Hence, there are arguments and exchanges of words. But if we go to the Lord and allow Him to shine on us, we will be brought into the light; we will realize how selfish, natural, soulish, and even fleshly we are.

We may feel that we are right, but under the Lord’s light, we realize we’re utterly wrong.

When the Lord really shines on us, we see our true condition and real situation. We then repent and apply the Lord’s redemption.

The Lord shines on us, and He then becomes the redeeming One to wash us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

This brings us under Him as our Head, and we enthrone Him in our being.

When both the husband and the wife are under the authority and headship of Christ, they will have the real Christian life and the real church life.

When Christ is on the throne in our being, there is a river of water of life flowing out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

When we enthrone the Lord Jesus, we sense the flow of life.

When we experience the shining of Christ, the redemption of Christ, and the reigning of Christ as the center on the throne in a practical way, we sense the flow of the Spirit in us.

We will experience the fullness of the Holy Spirit and the riches of the divine life.

There will be a living stream flowing from the throne of God into our being all the time.

And with this flow of water of life, there is the tree of life, that is, our hunger is quenched by Christ as our life supply.

Every month there are new fruits, for the tree of life has an ever-fresh fruit available for us to enjoy and partake of.

As we drink and eat the Lord in such a way, enthroning Him in our being and being under the shining of Christ and with His redemption, we have fellowship with the saints.

The river of water of life reaches all those in the New Jerusalem, and it flows in the middle of the one street in the city.

This means that there’s only one fellowship in the New Jerusalem, and all those who are under the throne of God and drink the river of water of life and eat the tree of life can fellowship together.

We should go to the Lord to contact Him. He is the lamp; He will enlighten us and bring us into the light of God. He is the Lamb; He will cleanse us and apply His redemption to us once more. He is on the throne; He will cause us to realize His headship and lordship and to submit ourselves to His authority. The issue of experiencing the Lord in this way will be a wonderful flow. A wonderful stream will flow within us with the rich life supply, the divine way, and the spiritual fellowship. Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1963, vol. 3, p. 520In the stream of life from the throne of God we can have real fellowship.

We may serve together with someone but we may not have real fellowship because we don’t enjoy the river of water of life.

But when we drink from the flowing river of life, we are built together and we fellowship according to the divine nature in us (signified by the golden street).

We all can testify that in this flow of life, we are perfectly blessed, and it is in the stream of living water flowing from the throne of God that we can really have fellowship with one another.

May we all go to the Lord and contact Him.

He as the Lamb is the lamp having God as light shining through Him.

As the Lord shines on us and exposes our shortcomings, defects, and sins, we confess and apply His precious blood (1 John 1:9), and the shining One becomes the redeeming One to cleanse us.

This brings us under His authority, and He is enthroned in our being.

As we enthrone the Lord, there’s a river of water of life flowing from the throne, for we submit ourselves to His authority.

The issue of experiencing the Lord in such a way will be a wonderful flow of life; there’s a stream of living water flowing from within us with the rich supply, the divine way, and the spiritual fellowship.

As the consummation of the entire record of the Bible, the New Jerusalem is the very God in His Divine Trinity — the Father, the Son, and the Spirit — united, mingled, and incorporated with His chosen, redeemed, regenerated, transformed, and glorified people as their eternal blessing; such a blessing is the ultimate fulfilment of God’s blessing to Israel in Numbers 6 (see Rev. 21:3, 12, 14, 22; 22:1-2).

May we have such a sweet and practical foretaste of the New Jerusalem in our experience today!

Lord Jesus, we come to You to contact You; shine on us and enlighten us. Expose anything in us that does not correspond to You. Amen, Lord, we need You as the redeeming One; cleanse us and wash us with Your precious blood. Apply Your redemption to our being and to our experience. We enthrone You, Lord, and we place ourselves under Your headship. You are on the throne, and we take You as our Lord and King. We submit ourselves to Your authority. May there be a river of water of life flowing from the throne of God and into our being. We open to You, Lord, and we drink of You as the river of water of life flowing from the throne! We want to walk according to the divine nature and have fellowship in the flow of life with the saints. Amen, Lord, grant us to have a foretaste of the New Jerusalem in our experience! May we enjoy and experience the divine dispensing of the Divine Trinity today and for eternity!

Turning to the Triune God and Contacting Him to enjoy Him as our Eternal Blessing!

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. 2 Cor. 13:14The divine revelation in the holy word of God is so high and rich, and the high peak of the divine revelation clearly shows us that God became a man to make us the same as He is in life and nature.

But sometimes, when we consider our situation, we may be disappointed, for we feel that we don’t have anything.

Others may be much better than us, and we may even think that people in the world are nicer, more well-behaved, and more elevated in their living than us.

We may look at the things around us, the things we have, and the things we do, and we may think that everything under the sun is vanity of vanities.

We may think that even the things in the spiritual field are vain, for we believe in such high things but our experience many times is not up to this standard. Oh, Lord!

What should we do when we feel this way, and what should our attitude be when we have such thoughts and feelings?

We need to turn to the Triune God and contact Him again. In ourselves, there is no hope.

Looking at our situation and trying to improve it does not work. We cannot improve ourselves, and there’s no way for us to make ourselves better.

We simply need to turn to the Triune God and contact Him. Only He is the real blessing. The Triune God in His divine dispensing is the real blessing, even the eternal blessing.

We need to contact Him so that we have the shining of His face, the lifting up of our countenance, and His rich blessing. Our blessing is nothing outwardly; it doesn’t have to do with anything material or physical.

We may get a good job and we may think this is our blessing, but eventually, this excellent job becomes a big headache.

We may get a new car and we may love it, thinking it is such a blessing to have a car like that.

But after a while when it breaks down or we need to maintain it, or when someone scratches it, it becomes clear to us that our car is not a blessing to us.

We may have a good family life, and our children may be so good; we may think that this is a blessing.

Sometimes when we consider our situation, we may be disappointed and feel that we do not have anything. It may seem to us that everything under the sun and even everything in the spiritual field is vanity of vanities. We may feel that nothing is real, not even in the church life. What should we do when we feel this way? We should turn to the Triune God. He is our real blessing and portion. What a blessing it is to have Him as the blessing! What a blessing it is to have His face, His presence, and to enjoy Him daily as grace! The more we suffer, the more we enjoy Him as grace. What a blessing it is to have His countenance smiling upon us, assuring us, and confirming us! And what a blessing it is to have peace in Him, by Him, and with Him! This is the Triune God as our blessing. Oh, may the grace of Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all! Witness Lee, Life-study of Numbers, p. 83However, this is not a real blessing; people change, children grow up, and things happen, and we realize that only God is our unique blessing.

Even a nice house is not a real blessing to us; we may get a nice house, brand new, but we may still need to fix this or that thing, and the bills are going through the roof, while the mortgage rates are increasing. Oh, Lord Jesus!

The real blessing – the eternal blessing – for us is the Triune God dispensing Himself in His Divine Trinity into us.

What a blessing it is for us to have the Lord’s countenance smiling upon us, assuring us and confirming us!

What a blessing it is to enjoy the Lord as grace. And what a blessing it is for us to have peace in Him and by Him, and to have peace with Him!

The Triune God is truly our real blessing, and we can touch and enjoy Him as our eternal blessing when we turn to Him and contact Him.

Simply by calling, Lord Jesus! we contact Him from deep within and are filled with Him as our eternal blessing.

May we enjoy the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God the Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit being with us day by day!

Lord Jesus, we look away from our situation and condition and focus our eyes on You! Though everything around us may seem to be vanity of vanities, we come to You as we are and we contact You in spirit. Oh, Lord Jesus! You are our real blessing. We come to enjoy You as our love, grace, and peace. What a blessing it is to have Your face, dear Lord, shining on us day by day! What a blessing is to have Your countenance smiling upon us! What a blessing it is to have peace in You, by You, and with You! Amen, Lord, may the Triune God be our real blessing in our experience! Oh, may the grace of Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all!

Amen, brother, may we come to the Lord and allow Him to shine on us and wash us with His precious blood. This will issue in us being under the throne of God, and we will drink the river of water of life and eat the tree of life. We will then have fellowship with all the saints in the flow of life. Oh Lord, we enthrone You in our being. May there be a living stream flowing in us all the time. Keep us in the fellowship in thr Body in the flow of life!

Amen. As we remain in the flow we become enlightened and apply the redeeming blood. Oh Lord Jesus .
This enlightening brings us to the throne of the lamb where the river flows down to us. On the one hand we receive the flow into us on the other hand we are under his authority Christ ruling .

Wow… I have just been touched that sometimes we put Christ off the throne and become selfless … and hence no flow!!!oh lord

We need to remain under the throne to recieve the flow which brings the tree of life as our rich supply and the flow brings us into the fellowship of all saints as this river flows in the city touching all areas .

Lord I open to the flow this morning take u as my lamb on the throne . Flow in us and out of us.
Lord Jesus.

The authority and headship of Christ will be in our family. Wow brother… that is sweet and deep.

Amen brother. How wonderful redemption is. The redeeming Lamb is the enlightening lamp.

The goal & issue of the light & the redeeming blood is that we are brought under TL’s authority. When we apply the shining and the blood to ourselves and to our situation, we spontaneously recognise the authority & headship of Christ.

When we have the flow of the river of the living stream, we have Christ as the rich and fresh supply of life. We need so much to contact Yeshua. Only He is able to enlighten us and bring us into the light of God.

Each time we turn to Him, He will cleanse us & apply His redemption to us afresh, and He will cause us to realise His headship & lordship & to submit to His authority.

A wonderful stream can flow within us, brother, and it will bring us into the rich life supply, the divine way, & the spiritual fellowship.

Yes, without the lamb there is no light, without the light of the lamb we are unable to see our dark so as to confess and receive our redemption. Therefore redemption comes to us from the lamb with one of His attributes, the light. This unique light strengthens our virtue to have strong fellowship with all other saints so as to be His dwelling house, the church.

Praise to Him for all the way to pass through incarnation, living on this earth for 33 and have years, crucifixion, resurrection, Ascension, which He became all inclusive of Christ.

What a very wonderful Lord we have.

O! Lord! help us to be strong and responsible for your move of this age.

Amen!

The river of the water of life that we see in Revelation 22:1 shows us that the processed and consummated Triune God as the Spirit flows from the throne of authority bringing the divine nature into us in the one unique way, for the joint particpitation in the New Jerusalem – the ultimate blessing of the Triune God through the ultimate mingling of God and man.

Today, as we contact the Lord, the Lamb who is the lamp, we experience His enlightening to see our real situation and to apply the redeeming blood to experience the divine dispensing to realise the Headship of Christ that we may enjoy Him for the real Christian life and Church life as a forestaste of the New Jerusalem. Praise the Lord!

Amen – O Lord keep us in the fellowship of the Body through the divine dispensing in the flow of life!

If we have this stream, we also have fellowship with all the members of the city, for this stream brings us to every part of the city. In this city there is only one street, and by this street we can reach every part of the city. This street is the fellowship. Hence, with the flow of the stream there is the real fellowship. I may serve with a brother every day and even live with him, but I cannot fellowship with him and he cannot fellowship with me unless we are enjoying the river of water of life. Although some outward contact is possible, in order to contact one another inwardly, there is the need of the stream. The throne of God and of the Lamb, showing that there is one throne for both God and the Lamb, indicates that God and the Lamb are one — the Lamb-God, the redeeming God, God the Redeemer. In eternity the very God who sits on the throne is our redeeming God, from whose throne proceeds the river of water of life for our supply and satisfaction. This depicts how the Triune God — God, the Lamb, and the Spirit, who is symbolized by the water of life — dispenses Himself to His redeemed under His headship (implied in the authority of the throne) for eternity.

Rev. 22:1, footnote 5, Recovery Version Bible
