Have an Ear to Hear what the Spirit Says to the Churches to Receive Christ’s Infusing

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. Rev. 3:6

The speaking of the Spirit always turns us to the infusing of Christ, for the Spirit’s speaking is Christ’s infusing for us to be transformed and built up; we need to have an ear to hear what the Spirit says to the churches so that we may be the Lord’s overcomers today.

Lord Jesus, we open to You. Circumcise our ear. Cleanse our ear. Cause our ear to be open to You. We want to hear Your speaking. We want to see what You are doing today. We give ourselves to You today. May we be those who have an ear to hear what the Spirit is speaking to the churches. May we be freshly infused with Christ so that we may grow in life unto maturity, be transformed, and be built up! Amen, Lord, make us Your overcomers! Amen!

We believers in Christ are those who realise that, as we live at the end of this age, we need to open to the Lord to receive His speaking.

Christ is the Son of Man as the High Priest walking among the local churches, and He sees the situation in every church.

He sees our condition, our situation, and our circumstances. So He speaks to us. He has a specific word to speak to every church. We need to be those who hear His speaking.

We need to not only enjoy the Lord with the saints in the local churches, but even more, have an ear to hear the Lord’s speaking.

His speaking in His word, and as we come to the Lord’s word, we exercise our spirit to contact Him, and the Spirit speaks to us the Lord’s word in a living and inward way.

The speaking Christ becomes the speaking Spirit; the word spoken by Christ is applied to us and revealed to us inwardly by the Spirit who is speaking to the churches.

Thank the Lord that the Lord today is the Spirit; as the Spirit, He is with our spirit, and we can exercise our spirit to contact Him, enjoy Him, partake of Him and hear Him.

As soon as we turn to our spirit, as soon as we’re in our spirit, we have the Lord’s presence and His speaking.

In this age of the degradation of the church and the corruption and darkness in the world, may we be those who have an ear to hear what the Spirit is speaking to the churches.

May we exercise our spirit again and again. As we do this and that, being at work, at home, on the street, or wherever we are, may we inwardly contact the Lord and touch Him.

We want to have His fresh speaking, His up-to-date speaking, so that we may be infused with the Lord and be produced as HIs overcomers today.

The Speaking of the Spirit Turns us to the Infusing of Christ: the Spirit’s Speaking is Christ’s Infusing!

I was in spirit on the Lord's Day and heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet...And I turned to see the voice that spoke with me; and when I turned, I saw seven golden lampstands. Rev. 1:10, 12

When we have the speaking of the Spirit, when we exercise our spirit, and we hear the Spirit’s speaking, we are turned to the infusing of Christ; we are simply infused with the Lord (see 2 Cor. 3:16-18).

Whenever our heart turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away, and we behold the Lord, who is the Spirit, with an unveiled face.

As a result of us beholding the Lord with unveiled face, we are infused with Him, and we’re even transformed into His image, from glory to glory, even as from the Lord Spirit.

The speaking of the Spirit always turns us to the infusing of Christ, for the Spirit’s speaking is Christ’s infusing.

Whenever we listen to the speaking of the seven Spirits of God to the churches, we are immediately under His infusing.

This is a precious, sweet, and dear transfusing, an infusing that changes us, transforms us, makes us the proper material, and builds us into God’s building.

The way the Lord obtains what He is after is through His speaking.

As long as we are under the speaking of the Spirit, as long as we have an ear to hear what the Spirit is speaking to the churches, we are infused with Christ, and there’s an inward process going on in us to make us into God’s building.

We simply need to keep ourselves under the speaking of the seven Spirits.

May we not be carried off or tricked by the subtle enemy. We may think that we need to be a better brother or sister, or just do a little better; even such endeavours are a distraction from the Spirit’s speaking.

We definitely need to be better, but it is not by us trying to be better; we simply need to place ourselves under the Spirit’s speaking so that we may be infused with Christ.

If we try to please God, if we try to be better, or if we try to improve this or that aspect of our life or character, we are distracted from the Spirit’s speaking, and in so doing, we miss out on the infusing of Christ.

It is the infusion of Christ that changes us and transforms us. Only by beholding the Lord face to face, even with an unveiled face, can we be infused with Him to be transformed into the same image.

What the Lord wants in us is not behaviour improvement or bettering of our relationships but that we would exercise our spirit and listen to the Lord’s speaking as the Spirit.

When we do this, He has the ground to infuse His life into us to make us proper material for God’s building.

The material that is proper for the building up of the church is not natural; it is both divine and human, the mingling of God and man.

We need the divine element to be imparted into us; this takes place through the speaking of the seven Spirits of God to the churches.

But whenever their heart turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. And the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. But we all with unveiled face, beholding and reflecting like a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord Spirit. 2 Cor. 3:16-18In meeting after meeting, conference after conference, training after training, the Lord has a way to speak to us.

We need to remain in the feasts with the saints, feasting before the Lord and with the Lord, being infused with Christ through the speaking of the Spirit, so that we may be transformed, conformed to His image, and built up together.

In today’s age, the age of degradation and darkness, the Spirit is intensified; as we remain under the speaking of the Spirit, we are infused with the Lord, and He works in our being.

Whatever must go to the lake of fire is burned away by the seven lamps (Rev. 4:5), and we’re under the seven eyes (5:6), being infused with all that Christ is in order that we may become part of the New Jerusalem!

May we remain under the Spirit’s speaking for the infusing of Christ into our being!

May we realise that only when we’re infused with Christ in a fresh way that we can be transformed and conformed to the Lord’s image to be suitable materials for God’s building!

Lord Jesus, we open to Your speaking today. We open to the speaking of the Spirit so that we may be infused with Christ. Amen, Lord, we give up our struggling and fighting; we simply come to You to be under Your speaking to be infused with You. May we listen to the speaking of the seven Spirits of God to the churches so that we may be under Your infusing! Oh, what a precious, sweet, and dear transfusing takes place in us when we are under the Spirit’s speaking! We open, dear Lord, and we want to remain here, under the Spirit’s speaking, so that we may be infused with Christ! Amen, when we’re infused with Christ, we are inwardly changed, transformed, and made into the proper material to be built into God’s building! Hallelujah! Oh Lord, have Your way as the seven lamps to burn what needs to burn and as the seven eyes to infuse us with all that Christ is so that we may become part of the New Jerusalem! Hallelujah, the Spirit’s speaking is Christ’s infusing!

Have an Ear to Hear what the Spirit Says to the Churches to be the Lord’s Overcomers

The Lord Jehovah has opened my ear; / And I was not rebellious, / Nor did I turn back. Isa. 50:5

How can we hear the Lord’s speaking? As we realise that it is by His infusing that we can be transformed, and His infusing is by His speaking, we need to be those who have an ear to hear what the Spirit is speaking to the churches.

Even though we believers in the churches are in a position to hear the Spirit’s speaking and thus can easily have ears to hear, not all of us will closely follow His speaking; this is why the Lord has a call for the overcomers.

We need to have an ear to hear what the Spirit says to the churches so that we may be the Lord’s overcomers today.

You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in hearts and ears, you always oppose the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, you also do. Acts 7:51 To whom shall I speak and testify, / That they may hear? / Indeed, their ear is uncircumcised, / And they are unable to listen. / See, the word of Jehovah has become a reproach to them; / They have no delight in it. Jer. 6:10Those who have an ear to hear what the Spirit says to the churches should hear, and those who hear will be overcomers.

Overcoming is not being a super-Christian, someone who is holier than others and more spiritual than them; overcoming is a matter of hearing what the Spirit is speaking to the churches.

Overcomers have an ear to hear and they hear what the Spirit is speaking to the churches, thus being transfused with the Lord’s element and being transformed into His image.

The Lord always wants to open our ears to hear His voice so that we may see things according to His economy (Job 33:14-16; Isa. 50:4-5; Exo. 21:6).

We need to let the Lord awaken our ear, even to make our ear as of an instructed one.

As He opens our ear, may we not be rebellious nor turn back; may we deal with our heart, our listening, so that we may receive the Lord’s speaking as the Spirit.

The heavy ears need to be circumcised (Jer. 6:10; Acts 7:51). Sometimes the Lord speaks to us, but our ears are heavy, uncircumcised; therefore, we’re unable to listen.

We need the Lord’s mercy; we need to have circumcised ears, ears that are not dull of hearing or heavy in hearing.

We need to consecrate our ears to the Lord; we need to sanctify our ears to receive the Spirit’s speaking.

We hear a lot of things. We listen to a lot of things. We listen to the news, to the people around us, to our family members, and to our friends.

We listen to podcasts, entertainment, social media, and all kinds of things. But we need to come to the Lord concerning our hearing.

We need to spend time with the Lord so that He can circumcise our ears so that our ears may be cleansed, washed in the blood, and open to Him to hear the Spirit’s speaking.

Especially when we come to the Lord in His word to spend time with Him and when we come to the meetings of the church, we need to come to the Lord concerning our ears.

We need to have an ear to hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

We want to hear not only the Lord’s word in general but also gain a particular word from Him, a rhema word, a living word that really becomes meaningful to us and supplies us.

May we not be stiffnecked and uncircumcised in hearts and ears, those who oppose the Holy Spirit (Acts 7:51). May we allow the Lord to circumcise our ears.

The sinner’s ears need to be cleansed with the redeeming blood and anointed with the Spirit (Lev. 14:14, 17, 28).

The Lord’s blood cleanses us. We come to Him, we apply His blood, and His blood cleanses both our hearing, our doing, and our walking. Our ears need to be cleansed for us to hear the Lord’s speaking.

When we hear the Lord’s speaking, we can enter into a seeing of what is in HIs heart in a spiritual sense.

Our ability to hear what the Spirit is speaking is crucial; if we miss out on the Spirit’s speaking, we miss the benefit, and we may even become critical or opposing. Oh Lord Jesus!

For us to serve the Lord as priests, we must have our ears cleansed with the Lord’s redeeming blood (Exo. 29:20; Lev. 8:23-24).

As the Spirit is speaking to the churches, we all need an open, circumcised, cleansed, and anointed ear to hear the Spirit’s speaking.

The Spirit is always speaking; the problem is on our side: do we hear the Spirit’s speaking? Is our ear opened, circumcised, cleansed, and anointed?

When our ear is open and cleansed, when we have a circumcised and anointed ear, we can receive the things of the Spirit and gain the benefits of His speaking.

And to the messenger of the church in Smyrna write: These things says the First and the Last, who became dead and lived again...He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes shall by no means be hurt of the second death. Rev. 2:8, 11Many times, our experience is that we’re in the meetings of the church, but we don’t get that much; we may even be critical toward those who speak in the meeting.

The problem is not with the meeting; the problem is with the condition of our ears, for we’re occupied with so many things.

We may have something on our mind, we may be offended, and we don’t want to listen to the brother who is speaking. Oh Lord!

This is why we need to deal with our ears to have an ear to hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

We may leave a meeting with the saints without gaining that much, and we miss the benefit of the Spirit speaking to the churches.

May we be those who come before the Lord concerning our hearing and our seeing; we need Him to open our eyes to see and our ears to hear, for we want to see the Lord and His economy and hear the Spirit’s speaking.

Lord Jesus, grant us to have an ear to hear what the Spirit is speaking to the churches today. Thank You for putting us in the right position to hear Your speaking; we want to deal with our ears so that we can hear! Oh Lord, may we be the overcomers You need today, those who have an ear to hear Your speaking and who closely follow Your speaking! Open our ears to hear Your voice. May we hear the Spirit’s speaking and see things according to God’s economy. Circumcise our ears; deal with anything that makes us dull of hearing or heavy in our hearing. Cleanse our ears with Your precious blood. Anoint our hearing. Oh Lord, we apply the blood and then the ointment so that we can both see and hear! We love You and we love Your speaking. May we have an open, circumcised, cleansed, and anointed ear to hear the Spirit’s speaking today! Amen, Lord, speak to us! Keep us open to Your speaking. Gain in us what You are after by Your speaking! Make us Your overcomers by Your speaking!

We need to have an ear to hear what the Spirit is speaking to the churches.

We need to let the Lord cleanse, circumcise, and anoint our ear so that we may hear His speaking.

The speaking of the Spirit brings in the infusing of Christ, which transforms us, makes us proper material, and builds us into God’s building.

Lord Jesus, cleanse and circumcise our ears. Grant us an ear to hear what the Spirit is speaking to the churches. Infuse us. Transform us. Make us proper materials for Your building.

Amen, Lord Jesus. Amen, if we have an ear to hear the speaking of the seven Spirits, we will be turned to Christ’s infusing that changes and transforms us to be proper material into God’s building.

If we have dull ears, we cannot see therefore we need an open, circumcised, cleansed and anointed ear.

Oh Lord Jesus, grant us ears to hear and eyes to see.

Indeed. The ear is in the centre of our belief. Even the Bible says that faith comes from ear-ing.

O Lord, cleanse our ears so that we may hear what the Spirit would transmit what He wants to transmit to us all.

Yes, we live in the world, where too many speakings and voices are there.

Therefore, we need the circumcise ears with the discernment spiritual skill to identify His exact voice.

To hear and see the Lord walking in the midst of the lampstand, our position must be also in the genuine church, where His rich supply of grace is fully expressed smoothly.

Praise the Lord for His revelation.

Amen. We need the Spirit’s speaking for our transformation for God’s building!

We need to be in spirit and turn with an opened, uncircumcised ear to hear what the Spirit, sevenfold, intensified, is speaking to the churches.

For this we need to be in the churches, listening to the word of God with a cleansed and anointed ear to be infused with Christ through the speaking Spirit to be transformed into precious stones to be proper material to be built together as God’s building.

Lord, give me ears to hear through Your precious, cleansing blood, what the Spirit is speaking for Your building!

Amen, brother!

Today, the seven Spirits are speaking to the churches, and anyone who has an ear and listens to this speaking will be turned to Christ’s infusing to transform and make us proper materials for God’s building.

Yet, because not all will hear and closely follow His speaking, there’s the call for the overcomers.

May we be those who have ears to hear and heed the Spirit’s speaking to be overcomers.

Lord, we confess we need an opened, circumcised, cleansed, and anointed ear to hear the Spirit’s speaking today! Grant us the turning to see the vision of the 7 golden Lampstands and the Son of Man!

This morning, I pray:

“Lord, I need to both see and hear. Have mercy on me, Lord, and grant me eyes to see and ears to hear!”

Hallelujah for the speaking of the Spirit brother.

The speaking of the Spirit turns us to the infusing of Christ. This infusing renews our mind, transforms our inner being, and makes us precious stones with which Christ can build the New Jerusalem.

It also burns away all the negative elements in us. We must be in the local church to be rightly positioned to hear the Spirit’s speaking and to closely follow His speaking. Those who have “an ear to hear” will be the overcomers.

The overcomers are those who gladly follow the teaching that the New Testament apostles have received of God. The vision of Christ in Rev 1 is condensed into the all-inclusive Christ and the speaking Spirit in ch 2.

Seeing depends on hearing. First we hear the Spirit’s voice, and then we see the up-to-date move of God’s New Testament economy.

We all need to be cleansed with the redeeming blood and anointed with the Spirit. May the Lord empower us to both see & hear…Amen! May we continually turn to our spirit that we may hear & see…

At the beginning of each of the seven epistles recorded in chs. 2 and 3, it is the Lord who speaks (vv. 1, 8, 12, 18; 3:1, 7, 14). But at the end of each epistle, it is the Spirit who speaks to the churches (vv. 7, 11, 17, 29; 3:6, 13, 22). This not only indicates that the Spirit is the Lord and the Lord is the Spirit, but it also emphasizes that in the darkness of the church’s degradation the Spirit is vitally important, as indicated by the sevenfold intensified Spirit in Rev. 1:4. The same emphasis is seen also in Rev. 14:13 and Rev. 22:17.
