Praise the Lord, as believers in Christ we were born again to be part of the divine history, part of the new man, to live and write the history of God in man, and we can experience God’s organic salvation and preach the gospel of peace to become the one new man in reality and be His overcoming bride. Hallelujah!
We were born in the human history when we were born physically in the family where the Lord put us, but we were reborn, born again, to be part of the divine history when we repented and believed into the Lord Jesus, and we became part of God’s history in man.
In the Old Testament God moved among men and with men, but beginning with the Lord Jesus, He has been moving in man.
In the Lord Jesus, the first God-man, God had a way to move in an unhindered way, for Jesus expressed the bountiful God in His rich attributes through His aromatic virtues.
In this one man, Jesus Christ, the fullness of the Godhead was pleased to dwell, and He didn’t just live a divine life or merely a human life – He lived a human life by the divine life, and in Him, God was expressed in a fragrant, aromatic, beautiful, and marvellous way.
Jesus Christ was the first man who ever lived and fulfilled in full the purpose of God in creating man; through Him, God was expressed to the uttermost, and He was represented with His authority.
Jesus Christ didn’t live by His perfect human life; rather, He denied Himself, put Himself aside, and lived by the divine life in resurrection to express God in man and live out God in humanity.
And through death and resurrection, He has propagated and imparted His divine life into millions of followers, those who believe into Him, to make them His duplication and reproduction.
Now all the believers in Christ are the continuation of Christ, members of the Body of Christ and part of the one new man.
As the continuation and increase of Christ, we can and should live the same kind of life that Jesus lived when He was on the earth; for this, we need to be renewed in the spirit of our mind so that we put off the old man with its old way of living, and put on the new man with the new way of living, the living of Jesus.
Our mind needs to be renewed, and the mingled spirit needs to spread into our mind to become the spirit of our mind; the more our mind is renewed, the more we are transformed, and the more we put off the old man and put on the new man to live the living of the new man.
May we allow the Lord to spread from our spirit into our mind, and may we drop our opinions, preferences, and ideas, being infused with God’s thoughts, opinions, ideas, and concepts in His word as we pray and muse on His life-giving word.
The more we spend time with the Lord in His Word, the more we realize how far superior He is to anything and anyone else, and the more we will live Christ and drop anything that He is not.
Hallelujah, Christ is becoming our all in all for the one new man!
We have a New Man with a New Heart and Spirit to Live in the Divine History by Living in the Church as the Reality of the New Man
When we were born again by repenting, calling on the name of the Lord, and being baptized into Christ and in His death, we were transferred out of the kingdom of Satan and into the kingdom of God.
All genuine believers in Christ were brought into a different history – the divine history within the human history, and with this history, there’s the new creation! Hallelujah!
With the divine history now we are a new creation, for we are a new man with a new heart, a new spirit, a new life, a new nature, a new history, and we have a new consummation (see Ezek. 36:26; 2 Cor. 3:16; Matt. 5:8; Titus 3:5)! Hallelujah!
The more we turn to the Lord and call on His name, the more He renews our heart and spirit, and the more we fellowship with Him and with the saints, the more our old heart will be replaced with a heart that loves the Lord and seeks Him.
We are a new man, and our heart is new, our spirit is new, our life is new, and our nature is new; our history is a new history, for it is the divine history within the human history, and our consummation is the New Jerusalem, the city of life, the new city of God!
May we focus on these things, setting our mind on the things which are above, where Christ is, and turning our heart to Him.
When we set our mind on other things, we are divided and go on our own way, but when we concentrate on the divine things, when we take Christ as our life and person, we will live in the new creation, and everything about us is new and living, in the divine life.
The history of God in man – the divine history within the human history – was from Christ’s incarnation through His ascension to become the life-giving Spirit.
This history continues with His indwelling us through God’s organic salvation of regeneration, sanctification, renewing, transformation, conformation, and glorification.
As we set our mind on the things which are above and not focus on the flesh or the worldly things, as we focus on the divine history within the human history, we are being brought into the full reality of the one new man to become the glorious bride of Christ (Eph. 4:22-23; Rom. 5:10; Rev. 19:7-9).
The divine history is still going on; it did not stop with the Lord Jesus and His ascension, but it continues with all the believers in Christ, for we all live in the divine history and are a part of it.
This history is really God’s organic salvation in us; the more we cooperate with the Lord to enjoy Him, love Him, partake of Him, and live one spirit with Him, we live in the divine history.
We need to ask ourselves this question, Are we living in the divine history, or are we living merely in the human history?
We were all born in the human history, but praise the Lord, we were reborn, regenerated, in the divine history!
As believers in Christ, we have the divine life in us, and whenever we live by the divine life and live in the church as the reality of the one new man, we are living in the divine history.
However, if our living is in the world, we are living merely in the human history. In the church life, God’s history is our history, for God and we have one history, the divine history.
May we live in the divine history within the human history today, writing the history of God as we experience God’s organic salvation day by day!
Thank You, Lord, for making us a new creation, a new man with a new heart and a new spirit! Hallelujah, we have a new life, a new nature, a new history, and a new consummation! Thank You for bringing us into the divine history and making us part of God’s history in man. We open to You, dear Lord, to experience Your organic salvation day by day so that we may live out and write the history of God in man. Keep us in the process of being regenerated, sanctified, renewed, transformed, conformed, and glorified until we are brought into the full reality of the one new man and we are made the glorious bride of Christ! Amen, Lord, we choose to live in the divine history today by living in the church as the reality of the one new man!
In the Divine History, we Experience the Divine Things for our Organic Salvation and Preach the Gospel of Peace to become the One New Man in Reality
May the Lord open our eyes and truly show us that we as believers in Christ are in the divine history experiencing and enjoying the mysterious, divine things for our organic salvation and for the His spreading through the preaching of the gospel of peace (Eph. 2:14-17; 6:15).
Day by day we live not only in the outward, human realm, taking care of our responsibilities and chores in the human life; even more, we live in the divine history by experiencing and enjoying the divine things for our organic salvation!
As we experience God’s organic salvation and cooperate with Him for His spreading on earth, we become in reality the one new man to be His overcoming bride! Amen!
We see this with Paul, who, before was saved, was named Saul and was fiercely persecuting the church and the disciples of Christ.
But when Christ met him, he spontaneously called on the name of the One whom he was persecuting, and he was baptised calling on the name of the Lord.
Christ appeared to him, captivated him, drew him, and took him as a captive in His triumphal procession. Praise the Lord!
And then Christ had a way to dispense Himself into this open vessel and, through him, to preach the gospel of peace for the spreading and enlarging of the kingdom of God especially among the Gentiles.
It is the same today, Christ has conquered us and has taken us captives, and He has given us as gifts to the Body of Christ.
He made us, His vanquished foes, into gifts for His Body, and He has been working in us to saturate and fill us with Himself, so that we may be useful gifts in the Body of Christ. Hallelujah!
The more we open to the Lord and enjoy Him, and the more we open to the perfecting of the Head of the Body through the members of His Body, the more we are infused with Christ, and the more we grow in life for the building up of the Body.
It is by this infusion of Christ, by having Christ being transfused into us, that we are sanctified, transformed, and built up, to be functioning members in the Body.
The result is that we are fitly framed together and compacted by every joint of the rich supply, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part; this is all for the building up of the Body.
Our commission today is to live in the reality of this one new man and to preach the gospel of peace – the real peace.
Today in the world much is spoken about peace, and there are peace treaties and peace conventions and conferences, but the peace the world offers is unsustainable, for it is not the genuine peace.
The real peace is Christ; He came to preach peace, and we have received the gospel and today are enjoying this peace in the one new man.
As we enjoy God’s organic salvation and live in the church as the reality of the one new man, we are commissioned to testify to the gospel of peace.
We testify with our word by teaching and preaching the gospel of peace, and we also testify this in our daily living.
We tell others to just come and see how there is a possibility for us, many people of all kinds of cultural backgrounds, different races and ethnicities, to become genuinely one.
May this be so, and may the Lord gain the reality of the one new man so that the divine history according to God’s economy would be consummated!
Praise the Lord, we are in the divine history, experiencing and enjoying the divine things for our organic salvation and for the preaching of the gospel of peace! Amen, Lord, keep us enjoying and experiencing the mysterious, divine things and spread through us as we preach the gospel of peace to the whole inhabited earth! Amen, peace can be found only in Christ, for Christ has made peace and He Himself is our peace! We proclaim Christ as the Peacemaker and as our peace; in Him we have peace, He is the real peace, and peace can be found only in Him! Amen, Lord, keep us living in the divine history so that we may become the one new man in reality to be Your overcoming bride!

– God hath us regenerated / In our spirit with His life; / But He must transform us further- / In our soul by His own life. / Spreading outward from our spirit / Doth the Lord transform our soul, / By the inward parts renewing, / Till within His full control. (Hymns #750)
– Then like Him we’re processed through… / Regeneration, / Sanctification, / Then renewing, / Transformation, / Conformation, / Glorification—we / Become God in life / And nature, not in Godhead / Through His organic salvation. / We are processed thus: / Oh, how glorious / To express the processed Triune God. (Song on, Incarnation, human living, crucifixion)
– Now we Thy new creation are- / New spirit and new heart; / We’re daily from the old renewed, / New life Thou dost impart. (Hymns #16)
