Christ uses the Key for us to be Transformed and Built as Pillars in God’s House

He who overcomes, him I will make a pillar in the temple of My God... Rev. 3:12

Christ uses the key of David to open the door for the spread of His recovery and also to subjectively open the door to our inner being for us to be transformed and built as pillars into the house of God as a pillar with the name of God, the name of the New Jerusalem, and the new name of the Lord.

Hallelujah for our wonderful Christ, who not only died for us and opened the way to come back to God but also has the key to open the way for us to be transformed and built up, even to be built into God and for God to be built into us!

The characteristic of the overcomers in Philadelphia is that they endeavour to enter into the God-man living by enjoying the riches of Christ, the indwelling treasure within them.

We not only have received Christ, Jesus, the Lord, but we also enjoy Him, for He is the treasure that indwells us, and we want to be filled with Him.

As we enjoy Christ as our indwelling treasure, we are replaced by Him in the sense that He lives in us as we live one with Him, and He is expressed through us as we remain in our mingled spirit.

God “hired us” when He created us, but He had to “fire us” when He put us on the cross.

We failed God, we did not fulfil His purpose, and we were contaminated with sin, so God had no use for us in this condition.

He had to come in, send His only begotten Son, and make us one with His Son so that, when He died on the cross, we also died with Him.

Now our Christian life is not a life of us trying to improve ourselves or to do the things that God requires of us; our Christian life is a life of living Christ, a life in fellowship with the Lord so that He lives in us and we live Christ.

We have been grafted into Christ; through faith and baptism, we have been cut off from the old source, the old man with all its activities and supply, and we have been grafted into Christ, the new source.

This happened in our spirit.

Daily, our soul is being brought into the new creation by our setting our mind on our spirit (Rom. 8:6) so that we may be renewed in the spirit of our mind (Eph. 4:24).

As we contact the Lord and remain in the touch with the Lord, something wonderful happens to us: our mind is infused with His mind, our thoughts become the same as His thoughts, our emotions reflect His emotions, and our will is one with His will.

As we stay in contact with the Lord according to the sense of life in our spirit, exercising to be poor in spirit and pure in heart, we enjoy the riches of God in Christ as our indwelling treasure.

How rich He is! How bountiful are His riches!

We enjoy His riches in spirit as we remain in our mingled spirit, contacting the Lord and enjoying Him continually.

There’s a continual dispensing of what God is in Christ into our spirit as we contact the Lord. Hallelujah!

Christ uses the Key of David to Open the Door for us to be Transformed and Built as Pillars in God’s House

He who overcomes, him I will make a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall by no means go out anymore, and I will write upon him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which descends out of heaven from My God, and My new name. Rev. 3:12 And I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. Rev. 21:22If we want to take the way of Philadelphia and be the overcomers who hasten the Lord’s return, we need to realize that the only One who can do this in us is Christ, the One who has the key of David.

We aspire to be the Lord’s overcomers, but Christ has the key to make us overcomers.

This expression, the key of David, is quite difficult for the teachers of the Bible to understand, for it is somehow associated with Christ.

Christ uses the key of David to open the door for His recovered church.

On one hand, He does this outwardly in an objective way, for Christ uses the key of David to open the door for the spread of His recovery.

On the other hand, Christ also uses the key of David to subjectively open the door in our inner being for us to be transformed and built as pillars into the house of God! Wow!

Rev. 2:17 and 3:12 shows that the Lord who has the key of David will make His overcomers pillars in the temple of His God, and He will write upon them the name of His God and the name of the city of His God, and His new name.

What does this mean? The name of His God indicates that the pillar not only belongs to God but also is God; we are being transformed and built into pillars in the temple of God, pillars in God Himself, to be part of what God is in His economy. Wow!

The fact that the name of the city of God, New Jerusalem, is written on the overcomer, indicates that we are becoming the New Jerusalem – we not only belong to the New Jerusalem but we are also becoming the New Jerusalem.

The fact that the new name of God is written on the overcomer indicates that the pillar belongs to Christ and even is Christ in a new significance, according to the new and particular experiences that he has of Christ. Hallelujah!

This means that the overcomers in Philadelphia become pillars in God Himself – they become God in life and in nature but not in the Godhead; they become constituents of the New Jerusalem and they become Christ in a new, experiential sense.

Objectively and outwardly, Christ uses the key of David to open the door for the spread of the His recovery all over the earth.

Do you not know that you are the temple of God, and [that] the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him; for the temple of God is holy, [and] such are you. 1 Cor. 3:16-17 But if I delay, [I write] that you may know how one ought to conduct himself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and base of the truth. 1 Tim. 3:15Subjectively and inwardly, Christ uses the key to open the door for us to be transformed and built as pillars in God’s house so that we may become God in life and nature but not in the Godhead.

We are becoming pillars in the temple of God.

The temple of God, the house of God, refers to the church in the present age (1 Cor. 3:16-17; 1 Tim. 1:15) and consummates in the New Jerusalem, where God is the temple for us to dwell in and we are His tabernacle to dwell in (Rev. 21:3, 22).

We want to be the Lord’s overcomers and we aspire to be those in the church of brotherly love who overcome, but we can’t do it in ourselves.

How can we become a white stone and pillars in the temple of God, having the name of God, the name of the New Jerusalem, and the Lord’s new name written on us?

We can’t do it in ourselves, but Christ has the key of David, and He opens the door for us to be transformed and built as pillars in the temple of God.

As loving seekers of the Lord, we will become one who bears the name of God, the name of the New Jerusalem, and the new name of Christ.

We are becoming God in life and in nature but not in the Godhead, and we become the New Jerusalem and Christ in a new sense, according to our experience of Christ. Hallelujah!

The One who holds the key to our experience is Christ Himself, for He has the key of David to open the door for us to enjoy such marvellous organic salvation!

Lord Jesus, we praise You for being the One who has the key of David to open the door for us to become pillars in the temple of God! Hallelujah, the Lord uses the key of David to open the door for the spread of His recovery all over the earth! Praise the Lord, Christ uses the key of David to subjectively open the door in our inner being for us to be transformed and built as pillars into the house of God as a pillar! Amen, Lord, we come to You again and again! We aspire to be Your overcomers, those who are pillars in the temple of God. Write on us what You are: inscribe us with the name of God, with the name of the New Jerusalem, and with the new name of Christ! Grant us to have the experiences we need to become pillars in the temple of God, one with God, even God in life and nature but not in the Godhead for God’s corporate expression in man!

The Law of the Spirit of Life makes the Impossible, Possible: it builds us into God, makes us a Constituent of the New Jerusalem, and makes us Part of Christ

For the law of the Spirit of life has freed me in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and of death. Rom. 8:2 But He said, The things that are impossible with men are possible with God. Luke 18:27The Lord’s speaking to the church in Philadelphia is very deep and extremely high, for it involves the high peak of the divine revelation.

If we are to be the overcomers in the church in Philadelphia, we need to know and experience Christ as the One who has the key of David, the One who opens and no one can shut, and shuts and no one can open (Rev. 2:17).

He opens the door for us subjectively to enter into the experiences of Christ that we need for us to be built into God, to become a constituent of the New Jerusalem, and to become a part of the new Christ.

How can this be? How can we be built into God?

How can we become a constituent of the New Jerusalem? How can we become a part of the new Christ?

Such a thing is humanly impossible. Yes, God created us in His image and according to His own likeness in order that we may express God, and He gave us the authority to rule over all things (Gen. 1:26).

But we fell and lost the way to fulfil God’s purpose. However, David found the way to fulfil the purpose of God in figure.

David defeated all the enemies and gained the ground to build the temple, the house of God.

God gave the key of authority to David, so this key is called “the key of David”.

Christ as the descendant of David inherits this key; Christ today is the real David (Matt. 12:3-4) to whom God has given the key of authority (28:18).

Only He can open the door, and no one can shut this door.

Christ went through death and resurrection, and now He is enlarged and expanded in us, the many members of the Body of Christ.

In a sense, Christ is the same as He was before, but now He is expanded and continued in us, the many believers in Christ.

He has been increased, enlarged, and multiplied to be a corporate Body, which will consummate in the New Jerusalem.

We are the many members of the Body of Christ, and we aspire to be His overcomers.

For us to be built into God, to become a constituent of the New Jerusalem, and to become a part of the new Christ is humanly impossible.

The Lord has the key to subjectively make us not only white stones but also pillars built into the house of God as those who are parts of God, of the New Jerusalem, and of Christ in a new sense. If we read the outlines of [the high peak] truths, we can see that they give us a key that opens the way to make us a part of God, of the New Jerusalem, and of the new Christ. We need to pray-read these outlines, study and investigate them, memorize and recite them, and prophesy with them. As a result, there will be an open door for us to enter into the reality, that is, to become a part of God, of the New Jerusalem, and of Christ. The New Jerusalem is the consummated God and the new Christ...This Christ is the One in the four Gospels who has been increased, enlarged, and multiplied to be a corporate Body, which will consummate in the New Jerusalem. Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1994-1997, vol. 4, pp. 73-75But praise the Lord, the law of the Spirit of life within us contains an element that deals with impossibility (Rom. 8:2; Luke 18:27; Gen. 28:12-19; John 1:51).

What is impossible with man is possible with God.

If God says something which seems to be too wonderful and impossible for us to do or be, we should not be discouraged: He who said it will also do it in us!

And He is not up there in the heavens somewhere, while we’re here on earth begging Him to do something for us; rather, He is now installed in our being as the law of the Spirit of life.

When we activate the law of the Spirit of life by turning to our spirit and remaining in our spirit, this law spontaneously works in us to do what God said He wants to do.

As we turn to our spirit, contact the Lord, and remain in the touch with Him, we are transformed and built as pillars into God, we become a constituent of the New Jerusalem, and we become a part of the new Christ.

What is impossible for us to do, the Lord does it effortlessly, spontaneously, and organically in us as we switch on the law of the Spirit of life!

We need to learn to turn to our spirit and allow the Lord to operate in us; He has the key of David, and He opens the door to us subjectively so that we may become the same as Christ and be built into God to become part of the New Jerusalem. Hallelujah!

Lord Jesus, we praise You for Your wonderful promise that You will make us a pillar in God and that You will write the name of God, the name of the New Jerusalem, and Your new name on us. We say Amen to Your word and we trust in You that You will do what You said You will do! Amen, Lord, we turn to our spirit right now. We activate the law of the Spirit of life. What is impossible to us is possible with God, for the Lord in us can do what He said He will do! Hallelujah, the law of the Spirit of life within us contains an element that deals with impossibility! Amen, Lord, we turn to You right now. We say Amen to Your word. We allow You to work Yourself into us. Open the door for us, dear Lord, that we may be transformed and built as pillars in the temple of God!

What is the way for us to become a white stone and a pillar that is built into the house of God?…The name of My God indicates that the pillar is God; the name of the city of My God indicates that the pillar is the New Jerusalem; and My new name indicates that the pillar is Christ in a new significance. The overcomer as a pillar becomes God (in life and in nature but not in the Godhead), the New Jerusalem, and Christ in a new experiential sense. In ourselves we have no way to carry this out. However, the Lord Jesus has the way; that is, He has the key…He is the key for us to be transformed into white stones and to be built into the house of God, which is the church today and the New Jerusalem in eternity. A loving seeker of the Lord can become one who bears the name of God, the name of the New Jerusalem, and the new name of Christ. This means that he becomes God in life and in nature but not in the Godhead, and he also becomes the New Jerusalem and Christ in a new sense. By ourselves this is impossible, but the One who has the key of David has the way. Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1994-1997, vol. 4, pp. 73-75

Dear brother, the Lord’s using the key of David to open the door for the spread of His recovery is objective to us, but Christ is also using the key of David to subjectively open the door in our inner being for us to be transformed and built into the house of God as a pillar with the name of God, the name of the New Jerusalem, and the new name of the Lord.

Amen, Lord, open the door for us to be built into God and to have God built into us so that we may be pillars in the Triune God and have the name of the New Jerusalem written on our forehead!

Christ as the real David has the key for both the Lord’s recovery objectively and us subjectively to make us pillars in the church today – those who will not go out anymore – and become the New Jerusalem, those bearing the name of God, the name of the city of God and the new name of Christ.

This new Christ is the enlarged, expanded and multiplied Christ of the four gospels and as loving seekers of the Lord through our pray reading, study, reciting and prophesying of the outlines of the high peak truths we can become part of God, consummated in the New Jerusalem. Amen!

O Lord Jesus! Keep us open to Your transforming work to make us pillars!

Hallelujah brother, our Christ has inherited the key of David.

He has opened a door to the recovered church that no man can shut.

This key also empowers us to become like God in life, nature & expression; to become the holy city of God; and to become Christ Himself in a new way.

May we all be loving seekers of the Lord so that we would become those who bear the name of God, the name of the New Jerusalem, and the name of Christ.

There is an open door for us to enter into this reality…

Ameenn!!!

The Lord has the way and has the key to transform us to become white stone and to build us to be the pillar in the temple of God with the name of God, the name of the New Jerusalem, and the Lord’s new name.

The Lord as the Spirit is the way for us to be possessed by God, by the New Jerusalem, and by the Lord.

Hallelujah there is the way for what God is, the nature of the New Jerusalem, and the person of the Lord to be wrought into us.

How we need to give our full cooperation to the Lord Spirit call upon His name, pray read His word, unceasingly pray, fan the spirit into flame, and not despising prophesy.
Lord make us stones and pillars in Your building!!!
