Christ living in us (enjoyment from the 2023 Autumn Uni Conference UK)

I am crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me; and the life which I now life in the flesh I live in faith, the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. Galatians 2:20

The topic of the 2023 Autumn University Conference was, Christ revealed in us, living in us and being formed in us.

I am crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me; and the life which I now life in the flesh I live in faith, the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. Galatians 2:20

From this autumn university conference, my top enjoyment was the matter of Christ living in us. As regenerated people, we have the old ‘I’ which has been crucified (Rom. 6:6) and the new ‘I’ which has God as life added to it.

The old ‘I’ was resurrected and God was added to it to be the new ‘I’. The old ‘I’ can never please God, whether it is good or bad because it doesn’t have God added to it. Nothing from our natural capacities or abilities needs to be added when we are in Christ Jesus!

I enjoyed that as believers, the Christian life is not an exchanged life where a lower life is exchanged for a higher life.

Rather it is a grafted life whereby two similar lives, similar in nature are grafted together.

Our human life is mingled with the divine life. We live by Him and He lives in us.

This means that we no longer need to depend on ourselves or try so hard.

We just need to let Christ live and work in us, grafting his divinity into our humanity! Hallelujah for this organic union joined in Christ!
