Christ cut the Way into Glory and is now the Captain of our Full Salvation into glory

Everyone who is called by My name, / Whom I have created, formed, and even made for My glory. Isa. 43:7

God’s eternal goal is to bring many sons into glory, and Christ is the Captain of our full salvation into glory, for He took the lead to pioneer the way into glory, crossing the river and entering within the veil to be the man in the glory!

Hallelujah, there’s a Man in the glory, and we believers in Christ are being saved into glory! Praise the Lord, we are sons of God being transformed and conformed to the image of Christ so that we may be brought into the full expression of God corporately! Hallelujah!

This week in our morning revival we come to the book of Hebrews, in particular to portions in chapters 2, 6, and 13, to see, The Author (the Captain) of Salvation and the Forerunner Leading Many Sons into Glory by Entering within the Veil and Going outside the Camp.

What a glorious and wonderful Christ we have! He is the Author of our salvation; He initiated salvation, and He took the lead to be the Captain of our salvation.

Also, He is the Forerunner; He ran ahead of us, cutting the way into glory, for God’s desire and eternal goal is to bring many sons into glory!

How did He cut the way into glory? How did He lead the way to enter into glory so that we also may follow Him into glory? It is by entering within the veil and going outside the camp.

May we fix our eyes on this wonderful One. May we come to Him day by day, spend time with Him, and allow Him to infuse us with the faith we need to run the race.

He saves us to the full. He saves us to the uttermost. We simply need to come to Him. As we come to the Lord and open to Him, He becomes the Captain of salvation, leading us into glory.

He already entered into glory as a Man. As God, He always had and will always have God’s glory, for He is the very effulgence of God’s glory and the impress of His substance.

But as man, He had to go through some processes in order to enter into glory as a man, and He is bringing us, His many sons, into glory. Praise the Lord!

On the one hand, He’s the Author of our salvation, the very source and origin of our salvation. On the other hand, He is the Captain of our salvation, taking the lead to bring us into full salvation and make us the same as He is in every possible way.

Praise the Lord for our wonderful Christ! May we see Him, enjoy Him, experience Him, and express Him more today!

God’s Eternal Goal is to Bring Many Sons into Glory for Him to have a Corporate Expression

For you have been bought with a price. So then glorify God in your body...Therefore whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 1 Cor. 6:20; 10:31

From the beginning to the end of the Bible we see that God’s eternal goal is to bring many sons into glory. This is why God created us in His image and according to His likeness.

God created, formed, and even made us for His glory, which is the expression of God (Isa. 43:7; 1 Cor. 6:20; 10:31; 2 Cor. 3:8-9, 18; 4:1, 5; Exo. 40:34).

In both the Old and the New Testament we see that God’s eternal goal is to bring many sons into glory so that He may obtain a corporate expression. Glory is God expressed.

The highest service we can render to God is to express Him in glory. If we read Isaiah 43:7 we will be so encouraged, for it tells us that God created us, formed us, and even made us for His glory.

He wants us to express Him corporately.

In speaking of God and His glory, us expressing God’s glory and becoming part of His glorious image, we need to make sure we do not presume we know this, nor should we commit the iniquity of the sanctuary by committing sins in our work for the Lord as we seek to gain glory for ourselves.

God needs to be the One who initiates the work. He is the strength for the work. He leads us in our work. He is the goal of our work. And He gains all the glory, with no glory for ourselves but all the glory for Him.

The result of working in the Lord and for the Lord is that God gains the glory and God is expressed. We do all things unto Him, for His glory; this should be the result of God’s work.

It would be such a silly thing for the colt on which the Lord rode on His way to Jerusalem, when others praised the Lord while seeing Jesus entering the city, to think that the people are praising him and not the Lord.

We may be the vessel the Lord uses to do something, but no glory is for ourselves

. God wants to be expressed, and we are the vessel. God’s eternal purpose is to express Himself in a corporate way through His redeemed people (Gen. 1:26; Eph. 3:16-17a, 21).

He wants to gain His glory in the church, and He does this by the Father strengthening us into the inner man with power by the Spirit so that Christ may make His home in our heart through faith.

As we experience the Triune God in a subjective way, He gains the glory in the church. The glory of God is wrought into us, saturates us, is expressed through us, and returns to God through us for Him to gain all the glory.

We see this in the picture of Abraham’s servant going to Rebecca and giving her a sample of the riches of Isaac; she was gained by these riches and returned to Isaac to be his bride, and the riches returned to Isaac for his glorification.

God’s riches and wealth is given to us in Christ for our beautification, and we return to Christ for His glorification. Hallelujah!

And he carried me away in spirit onto a great and high mountain and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, Having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, as clear as crystal. Rev. 21:10-11At the end of the Bible we see the New Jerusalem, having the glory of God; the New Jerusalem is the corporate expression of God.

God as the light shines in and through the Lamb as the lamp, eventually shinig through the entire city, causing the city to bear the appearance of God Himself (Rev. 21:10-11, 18, 23; 4:3).

We are becoming the holy city, New Jeursalem; the holy city is God united, mingled, and incorporated with man for God to have a corporate expression of Himself in humanity in the universe.

The God who sits on the throne looks like jasper, and the building work of the wall is jasper; we express God corporately.

On the one hand, God in His Godhead never communicates or shares what He is with us; on the other hand, He wants us to be His corporate expression to bear His glory.

When we look at the New Jerusalem, we see the expression of God – the light in the lamp shining through the jasper. God will gain His glorious expression in humanity for eternity! Praise the Lord!

Lord Jesus, unveil us to see that God’s eternal goal is to bring many sons into glory! Hallelujah, we human beings are created, formed, and even made by God for His glory! Thank You, Lord, for creating us in Your image and according to Your likeness so that You may be expressed through us. We want to render You the highest service today by expressing You in Your glory. Make us part of Your glorious expression! Express Yourself through us. Gain Your corporate expression through us. We open to You, Lord. Work Yourself into us. Mingle Yourself with us. Grow in us. Make us the same as You are in life, nature, expression, and function, so that we may be Your corporate expression on the earth. Hallelujah, we are becoming the New Jerusalem, the holy city having the glory of God! Amen, Lord, express Yourself through us today. Make us one with You and one with the saints so that together we may express God corporately, bearing God’s glory!

Christ is the Captain of our Full Salvation: He cut the Way into Glory and He is now the Man in the Glory!

For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and through whom are all things, in leading many sons into glory, to make the Author of their salvation perfect through sufferings. Heb. 2:10

Hebrews 2:3 and 10 tells us that Christ is the Author of our full salvation into glory; He is the Captain of our full salvation into glory. The goal of God is to bring many sons into glory, and Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to become a man and cut the way into glory.

He as the Pioneer, fought into glory, and He became the Captain of God’s many sons’ salvation to lead them into His glory by fighting. We are now the many sons of God, fighting into the glory that God has ordained for us.

Before God could accomplish His purpose of bringing many sons into glory, He needed an example, a model, someone who would be qualified to take the lead and bring many sons into glory.

And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless the grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it abides alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. John 12:23-24Jesus Christ came as God incarnated, and He had to be perfected through suffering to enter into glory.

We may think that Christ never had to be perfected, for He was God and God is perfect; that is correct, but as a Man, in His putting on the flesh, the Lord had to be perfected.

Before His incarnation, He was perfect; after His incarnation, however, He had to be perfected by the things which He suffered.

To be perfected here doesn’t mean that He was incomplete or imperfect but that He became qualified by the things He suffered to be the Captain of our full salvation.

Jesus was the seed of the divine glory, falling into the earth to die and growing up to blossom in glory in resurrection (John 12:23-24; Luke 24:26; 1 Cor. 15:36, 43a).

Just as a seed falls into the earth and dies, and then it grows to bear much fruit for that seed’s glorification, so Christ came as the seed of glory and fell into the earth to die, and He was glorified in His resurrection to glorify God! Hallelujah!

His human sufferings were needed to make Him fit to become the Author, the Leader, for His followers’ salvation.

When He was on earth, at one point, many heard of Him, so much so that even some from the Greeks came to see Him.

That’s when the Lord said, Unless the grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it abides alone, but if it dies, it bears much fruit. The way into glory is by death and resurrection.

The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified, by Him first going through sufferings and death, and in His resurrection He is glorified.

We follow Him into the ground to die so that His life in us may grow and God may be glorified. Christ had to go through the sufferings He experienced in order to be the Author of our full salvation.

When we deny ourselves, when we die one day at a time, dying to ourselves, we will be made alive in the Lord, and He will be glorified in us.

When Christ fell into the ground and died, He grew in His resurrection, and His whole being – including His humanity and His human nature – was brought into the glorious expression of God. Hallelujah!

He became the Man in the glory in His resurrection. In Christ as an individual man, God gained His expression, His glory! Hallelujah!

The glory into which Christ entered is the full expression of God. When Christ came through incarnation, the glory of God was concealed within Him.

That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit into the inner man, That Christ may make His home in your hearts through faith...To Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus unto all the generations forever and ever. Amen. Eph. 3:16-17a, 21He chose to be finite, limited, and have His divinity concealed in the shell of His humanity. He fell into the ground and died, suffering death and crossing the river of death, and then He entered into glory!

Hallelujah, after suffering death, the Lord Jesus entered into the full expression of the Divine Being!

He crossed the river; first, He crossed the river at the time of His baptism, and throughout His ministry on earth, He crossed many rivers.

Eventually, on the cross Christ crossed the ultimate river of His physical death, and He entered into glory! He entered into the reality of the expression of God’s divine being! Praise the Lord!

Now He is the example, the model, for He was the first One who pioneered the way into glory, and He is the Author of our full salvation, even the Captain of our full salvation into glory!

Christ as the Pioneer and Forerunner entered within the veil (Heb. 6:19-20), and anything that separated Him from God’s glory was overcome; now He is in glory, and there’s a Man in the glory! Praise the Lord!

There is a man in God’s expression, and He is leading us into glory as the many sons of God! May we really be open to the Lord to be brought into glory so that God may gain His corporate expression in us and through us!

Lord Jesus, we love You and we open You! We praise You for Your incarnation, human living, death, and resurrection. Thank You for coming as the seed of the divine glory, falling into the earth to die and growing up to blossom in glory in resurrection! Hallelujah, Christ chose to be finite and limited, and He cut the way into glory through His death and resurrection! Wow, there is a Man in the glory, and His life is for us! Amen, Lord, we praise You for bringing Your humanity into Your divinity to glorify it and cause a Man to be in the glory of God, God’s full expression! Praise the Lord, Christ is the man in the glory, the man in God’s expression! Hallelujah, Christ is the Man who is God’s expression, God’s glory! Amen, Lord, we take You as the Author of our full salvation into glory. Lead us into glory today! You are the Captain of our full salvation into glory, and we follow You on this pathway to be brought into God’s full expression! Praise the Lord!

After living on earth for thirty-three and a half years, the Lord fulfilled the type. Jesus crossed the river. He first crossed the river at the time of His baptism. For three and a half years after His baptism, He was continually crossing rivers. Eventually, on the cross, He crossed the death river. By crossing that ultimate river, He entered into glory. The glory into which He entered is the reality of the expression of God’s divine being. After His resurrection He was God’s glorious expression…He is the example, the model, because He was the first One who pioneered into glory, the One who paved the way.

This Pioneer, this Forerunner, entered within the veil (Heb. 6:19-20)…The veil is that which separates us from God’s expression. Every river is a veil separating us from God’s expression. By passing through the Jordan, the river of death, Jesus entered within the veil. There within the veil is nothing but the expression of God. He is there now in glory. There is a man in the glory. This means that there is a man in God’s expression. Even more, there is a man who is God’s expression, a man who is God’s glory.

The glory the Lord entered into was the full expression of God, when the Lord was in the flesh God was concealed within Him..in Jesus the Nazarene with blood and flesh!

When He was growing up His whole being including His humanity was brought into the glory of God, by crossing the river of death He entered into the glory!! Into the full expression of the Divine Being!

Lord Jesus You are the model, the pattern, the One who pioneered into glory. Thank You for paving the way, for many to follow You. Praise the Lord, there’s a man in the glory!!!

Amen! The completion of Christ’s experience of human suffering was needed to make Him fit to become the Leader of our salvation.

The Lord suffered death, crossing the river of death, and entered into the full expression of God. He entered into the veil that separates us from God’s expression.

There is now a man in glory, in God’s expression, and He is our example & model. Hallelujah!

The last step of God’s great salvation is to bring His many sons into glory. Romans 8 tells us that God’s work of grace upon us began with His foreknowing, passed through His predestination, calling, and justification, and will end with His glorification (Rom. 8:29-30). Also, Rom. 8 tells us that the whole creation eagerly awaits the revelation (glorification) of the sons of God, in hope that the creation itself will enter into the freedom of the glory of the children of God (Rom. 8:19-21). This will be accomplished by the Lord’s coming back (Phil. 3:21), at which time we will be manifested with Him in glory (Col. 3:4); this is our hope (Col. 1:27). This glorification of the sons of God, as the goal of God’s salvation, will last through the millennial kingdom and will be manifested in full in the New Jerusalem for eternity (Rev. 21:11, 23).

God’s eternal goal is to bring us, His many sons into glory – to express God in whatever we are, eat, drink or do to glorify Him in our bodies.

For this the Lord Jesus became the Captain of our salvation, the one who was qualified in becoming flesh, as a man crossing many rivers as He suffered in His humanity through incarnation and then crossing the river of death through crucifixion to enter into God’s glory through resurrection. Praise the Lord!

Our Lord Jesus was perfected through sufferings, leaving a model for us that we too would cross many rivers to glorify God in the church as His expression, ultimately expressing God as the New Jerusalem!

God has an eternal goal to have His glory expressed on the earth. It is for this reason that He created man to represent Him on earth (Isa.. 43:7). This mission in service is the corporate responsibility of His redeemed people.

God will have His ultimate dwelling and expression in the New Jerusalem, the holy city, to bear His shining appearance and glory!

Christ came into humanity and was perfected in His human experiences through suffering, and through crossing the final river of death, He entered Himself into glory. He brought humanity and human nature into God’s glory and thus became the Author, Initiator, Pioneer, the forerunner, the Captain, to lead and bring God’s many sons into glory. (Heb 2: 10-11)

Hallelujah, there’s a man in the glory! His life is for us to experience, enjoy, and express God today! He is the grain of wheat that fell into the ground, died to produce much fruit – the many sons!

Praise the Lord, His life is fully qualified to bring us through to glory! We only need to open to this One to fill us with His perfected and qualified life and nature. He will lead us to glory!

Ameen!!!
God’s goal is to bring His many sons into glory. His firstborn Son, the Lord Jesus, as the Pioneer, has fought into this glory. He is the example, the model, because He was the first One who pioneered into glory, the One who paved the way.

Now He is the Captain of God’s many sons’ salvation leading them into His glory by fighting. We, the many sons of God, are now on the way, fighting into the glory that God ordained for us.

Lead us oh Captain of our salvation. Bring us into glory, the full expression of God.

Amen Lord, bring us into the glory a little more each day.

He became a man and suffered so that He could be perfected into glory to be qualified to lead men as our Captain. He took the lead and is the One who is the full expression of God to bring forth the many sons.
