Question on Facebook: what do you love the most in the home meetings of the church?

January 22, 2012 by aGodMan 5 Comments

what do you LOVE the most in the home meetings? What aspect of the home meeting you really enjoy? – here are some responses from what some saints on facebook have shared. You know, the homes are the God-ordained way for us to be – both humanly and spiritually – born, cared for, cherished, nourished, loved, shepherded, raised up, perfected, blended, trained, and even matured. We need the homes – not just the “home meetings”, but the homes of the saints. [read more online a wonderful sharing about the importance and sweetness of the homes in the church life]

having ordinary days in the divine dispensing for the building up of the Body of Christ

January 21, 2012 by aGodMan 3 Comments

We all can testify that we cannot “feel” that the Triune God is in us in a spectacular or extraordinary way. There’s a living Person in us, and His speaking to us, His dispensing in us, is so normal and so fine. We should be blessed to be satisfied with ordinary normal routine days in the divine dispensing. We don’t know what’s really going on within us, but as we turn to the Lord, as we fellowship with Him, as we open to Him, and as we listen to His voice within us, there’s an increase of the element of God in our being daily. the focus of the Epistles in the New Testament is the Divine Trinity for the divine dispensing

January 20, 2012 by aGodMan 12 Comments

What is the focus of all the 22 epistles in the New Testament? Have you ever considered that there’s something deeper in the Epistles, like an underlying structure, a focus? I personally haven’t, to be honest, but by enjoying the morning revival on, The Focus of the Lord’s Recovery, especially week two, I have been so impressed with this… The focus of the Epistles in the New Testament is not doctrines, teachings, Christianity, working for God, outward practices, etc – the focus of the Epistles is the Divine Trinity for the Divine Dispensing! [read online a comprehensive list of verses in the Epistles clearly showing us the Triune God dispensing Himself into man!]

offering the consummate praise to God for the recovery of Christ, the house, the city, and the earth

January 18, 2012 by aGodMan 6 Comments

Praise is the highest work that can be carried out by God’s children! The Christian life soars through praises! Even in prison and in stocks in Acts 16, Paul and Silas were praising the Lord – their spirits were soaring! We need to learn to take the important step from “praising God when we’re in the mood” to transcending everything by praising God! We should not set our eyes on our circumstances but on the Wonderful Christ – and praise will be rising in our being! Lord, I don’t know what to do in this situation, but my eyes are set on You! I want to live according to the spirit! The Son of God is in my spirit! (2011 winter school)

January 18, 2012 by Christian Student 7 Comments

We Christians, must reject our mind, emotions, and will, and take the Lord Jesus as our life! Amen! This doesn’t mean that we don’t need our emotions and will but that we need to put them under the control of the spirit! We need to turn to the Lord in every situation and He will show us the way – we will have a feeling. I’m so vulnerable if I don’t turn to the Lord… but I want to live according to the spirit! at His second return Christ will recover the earth and solve all the problems of humanity!

January 17, 2012 by aGodMan 7 Comments

There are so many problems in this world – there are many vices, the political system is very unhealthy, there are many contradictions in the human institutions, the future looks gloomy… The more people consider this situation, the more they are confused – and the more problems come! How can someone survive in the next generation? There is food shortage, there’s much injustice, the prisons are full with people, there are crisis between nations, cultures, races, religions, etc … What should our attitude be as Christians, as believers in Christ? Hallelujah, God has prepared a solution for all these problems! It is not through our doing something today outwardly, but it is at the Lord’s second return that all these problems will be solved! our flesh profits nothing: let us turn to our mingled spirit! (2011 winter school of truth)

January 16, 2012 by Christian Student 3 Comments

I really enjoyed the fact that we have the key to both “death” and “life and peace”. This key is non other than our mind. “For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the spirit is life and peace” (Romans 8:6). The moment I got to know this, I found the answer to lot of problems in my life. Can the flesh do any good to you? No, the flesh cannot do any good for you. The Lord Jesus said “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing” (John 6:63). Hallelujah – our flesh profits NOTHING! So if the flesh profits nothing, let us set our mind on the spirit because He gives us life! [sharing by a brother who recently attended the Winter School of Truth – read more online]
