Being Saturated with God’s Holy Nature to have a Holy Living as God’s Holy People

February 22, 2018 by aGodMan 7 Comments

In Leviticus God charged His people to have a holy living according to His holy nature; we as believers in Christ are God’s people, and we need to be saturated with God to be as holy as He is holy and thus live a holy life. Just as the people of Israel in the Old […]

We need to Experience Christ as the Reality of the Offerings to be Mingled with Him

February 21, 2018 by aGodMan 7 Comments

John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us (and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only Begotten from the Father), full of grace and reality. John 14:20 In that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.

We need to experience Christ as the reality of the offerings so that we may enter into God and be mingled with God in Christ, the reality of the tabernacle. In Leviticus 1-10 we see how God is training us to worship Him and partake of Him through the offerings and the priesthood. God desires […]

We’re being Trained to Worship God through Christ as the Reality of the Offerings

February 20, 2018 by aGodMan 5 Comments

Christ is the reality of the offerings: 1. The burnt offering typifies Christ as God’s pleasure and satisfaction. 2. The meal offering typifies Christ in His perfect humanity as food for God and for the saints. 3. The peace offering typifies Christ as the Peacemaker. 4. The sin offering typifies Christ as the One who was made sin for us. 5. The trespass offering typifies Christ as the One who bore our sins in His own body. 6. The wave offering typifies Christ as the resurrected One in love. 7. The heave offering typifies the powerful Christ in ascension and exaltation. 8. The drink offering typifies Christ, the One poured out as wine before God for His satisfaction.

In Leviticus chs. 1-10 God trained His people to worship and partake of Him through the offerings and the priesthood; Christ is the reality of the offerings with which we worship God. We love God, we enjoy His word, and we appreciate our fellowship with Him and with all the saints, but as we see […]

God is Training us to Worship and Partake of Him through His Speaking in the Church

February 19, 2018 by aGodMan 4 Comments

In the church God is always speaking. The extent to which a congregation is the church actually and practically depends on how much of God’s speaking is there. If a certain group does not have God’s speaking, it is hard to regard such a group as a church. The preciousness of the tabernacle was not the gold in it. There was more gold in Egypt than in the tabernacle. The preciousness of the tabernacle was God’s speaking. The same is true of the church today. The preciousness of the church is God’s speaking....Praise the Lord that in the church we have God’s speaking! This speaking is a treasure to us. Witness Lee, Life-Study of Leviticus, p. 8

This week in our morning revival enjoyment we come to the first part of the Crystallization-study of Leviticus, and we focus on, God Training His People to Worship and Partake of Him and to Live a Holy, Clean, and Rejoicing Life. Through His speaking in the church as the tent of meeting, God trained His […]

Continually Experiencing Christ in His Inward Parts for the Church as the One New Man

February 17, 2018 by aGodMan 4 Comments

2 Cor. 11:10 The truthfulness of Christ is in me. 1 Cor. 16:24 My love in Christ Jesus be with you all. Phil. 1:8 For God is my witness how I long after you all in the inward parts of Christ Jesus.

We need to be those who are continually experiencing Christ in His inward parts for the church as the one new man. We need to learn from the apostle Paul to remain in the inward parts of Christ, have a feeling for the Body, and live the church life with the consciousness of the new […]

Living in the Inward Parts of Christ and Realising our Equal Status in the New Man

February 16, 2018 by aGodMan 6 Comments

In the new man the members love one another in faith (Titus 3:15). The relationship is of love through faith. The apostle appreciates the fellowship of Philemon’s faith (Philem. 6) and is encouraged by his love (v. 7); thus he entreats him to receive Onesimus because of this love (v. 9). These two virtues are referred to in a combined way. Philemon has both of them, not only toward the Lord, but also toward all the saints. Witness Lee, Life-Study of Philemon, p. 2

In the church as the one new man all believers have an equal status, for they all are filled and saturated with Christ, and they love one another in faith by living in the inward parts of Christ. In Colossians we see both the definition and the practical application of the one new man with […]

We need to Practice the Church Life with the Consciousness of the One New Man

Col. 4:7-14 v. 7 All the things concerning me, Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful minister and fellow slave in the Lord, will make known to you, v. 8 Whom I have sent to you for this very thing, that you might know the things concerning us and that he might comfort your hearts; v. 9 With Onesimus, the faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They will make known to you all the things here. v. 10 Aristarchus, my fellow prisoner, greets you, as well as Mark, the cousin of Barnabas, (concerning whom you received commandments, If he comes to you, receive him), v. 11 And Jesus, who is called Justus; these alone of the circumcision are my fellow workers for the kingdom of God, ones who have become a consolation to me. v. 12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a slave of Christ Jesus, greets you, always struggling on your behalf in his prayers that you may stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God. v. 13 For I testify of him that he labors much for you and for those in Laodicea and for those in Hierapolis. v. 14 Luke, the beloved physician, greets you, as well as Demas.

The one new man has been created by Christ on the cross to be the entity that fulfills God’s purpose, and today we need to live the church life with the consciousness of the one new man. We need to realise that our living of the church life in the locality and country where the […]
