Living out the Uplifted and Resurrected Humanity of Jesus for the Building of God

September 28, 2017 by aGodMan 6 Comments

Eph. 4:24 And put on the new man, which was created according to God in righteousness and holiness of the reality.

The unique material of God’s holy building is the humanity of Jesus: for God’s building, we need to be human not by our natural humanity but by the humanity of Jesus, the resurrected humanity, the uplifted humanity of Jesus. The way the Lord Jesus lived was like no other man on earth. He didn’t just […]

Living a Life under God’s Blessing and Eliminating any Barriers that would Hinder it

September 12, 2017 by aGodMan 10 Comments

The normal life of a Christian is a life of blessing, and the normal work of a Christian is a work of blessing.

As believers in Christ, we need to treasure God’s blessing; our normal Christian life should be a life of blessing and our Christian work should be a work of blessing, enjoying God’s blessing and being under God’s blessing. Our God is not only the One who created us, redeemed us, and came into us to […]

Our Morning Watch with the Lord is Indispensable; we need to Observe it Diligently

September 1, 2017 by Guest God-man Blogger 2 Comments

I love the Lord not only for the eternal, unshakable salvation He granted me freely and for my eternal bright future, but also for His sweet mercy and grace reaching me daily through my morning watch with Him.

I have been saved for about 15 years now, and I love the Lord Jesus very, very much! And I love Him not only for the eternal, unshakable salvation He granted me freely and for my eternal bright future, but also for His sweet mercy and grace reaching me daily through my morning watch with […]

As we Breathe in the Lord, His Spirit comes in to Enliven us and Form us as His Army

When Ezekiel prophesied the first time (Ezek. 37:7), there was a noise and a rattling, and all the bones came together; when we come together in the meetings and make a joyful noise by calling on the Lord and praising Him (Psa. 95:1; cf. Lam. 3:55-56; John 20:22; Hymns, #255), we are truly one. When Ezekiel prophesied the second time (Ezek. 37:10), the breath came into the “very dry” (v. 2, cf. v. 11) and dead bones, “and they lived and stood up upon their feet, an exceedingly great army” (v. 10), to fight the battle for God. Crystallization-Study of Ezekiel (2), outline 1

In Ezek. 37 God told the prophet to prophesy His word over the dead bones, and then the wind, the breath, and the Spirit came; we need to exercise to prophesy God’s word, breathe in the Lord, and allow God to breathe out His word and His Spirit for His purpose to be fulfilled. A […]

When we Prophesy, God Sends the Wind, the Breath, and the Spirit; Make a Joyful Noise!

Ezek. 37:7-8 So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly, a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to its bone. And I looked, and there were sinews on them, and flesh came back, and skin covered them over...

Prophesying is the function of the overcomers, and when we prophesy, we build up the church, and God is blowing upon any dry bones, sending the wind, the breath, and the Spirit, to revive, resuscitate, and enliven man, to form them into His people and army. Our God is almighty, powerful, and all-inclusive, yet when […]

Preparing and Practicing to Prophesy for the Building up of the Church

1 Cor. 14:4 He who speaks in a tongue builds up himself, but he who prophesies builds up the church.

In Matthew 16:18 the Lord Jesus spoke the greatest prophecy in the Bible, I will build My church. In 1 Corinthians 14:4 the apostle Paul says something amazing, He who prophesies builds up the church. To prophesy is not merely foretelling the future, but mainly to speak for Christ, to speak forth Christ and to […]

God’s Word causes Dry Bones to become Living, for the Lord is the Savior of the Dead

August 29, 2017 by aGodMan 13 Comments

Ezekiel 37 reveals how God’s Spirit comes into us in order to enliven us so that we may become a corporate Body formed into an army and also built up as God’s dwelling place.

In Ezekiel 37 God gave the prophet a vision of a valley full of dry bones, which represented the house of Israel, and He told him to prophesy over them; the result was that the Spirit came in, breathed on them, enlivened them, and produced a great army. We may think that these dead, dry […]
