Practicing the Scriptural Way to Meet and Serve to Build up the Church Practically

December 28, 2017 by aGodMan 4 Comments

Without practicing the Scriptural way to meet and serve – the way that is shown in the New Testament – the Lord’s words concerning the building up of the church cannot be fulfilled. For the building up of the Body of Christ, we believers in Christ all need to practice the Scriptural way to meet […]

Our Oneness is the Anointing of the Spirit which Mingles us with the Triune God

December 20, 2017 by aGodMan 6 Comments

In Ephesians 4:4-6 Paul lists seven aspects of oneness: one Body, one Spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father. These verses also show the mysterious mingling of the Triune God with the Body of Christ. This mingling is the oneness of the believers. The Spirit in verse 4 is no doubt the compound, all-inclusive Spirit who is within the Body and gives life to the Body. Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1979, vol. 2, The Genuine Ground of Oneness, p. 301

It is interesting to realise that Psalm 133 is equivalent to Ephesians 4, and that when we are in the Body and are diligent to keep the oneness of the Spirit, we have the anointing of the Spirit (vv. 3-6); the anointing oil as the compound ointment is a type of the processed Triune God, […]

Saints’ Dwelling in Oneness is like Inestimable Goodness and Incalculable Pleasantness

December 19, 2017 by aGodMan 12 Comments

Psa. 132:13-16 For Jehovah has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His habitation. This is My resting place forever; here will I dwell....I will abundantly bless its provision....Its priests I will clothe with salvation, and its faithful ones will shout with a ringing shout.

In Psalm 133 we see the praise of a saint in his going up to Zion concerning Jehovah’s commanded blessing of life on brothers who dwell together in oneness; this dwelling in oneness is like the inestimable goodness and the incalculable pleasantness. Hallelujah, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together […]

Before the Lord Jesus Comes Back, He will Fully Recover the Proper Church Life

December 11, 2017 by aGodMan 16 Comments

I have the assurance that before the Lord comes back, He will fully recover the proper church life. Witness Lee

This week in our morning revival we come to a very precious and dear matter both to the Lord and to us: the recovery of the church life; He wants to recover the proper church life today! This expression, the church life, is not very common among believers today. On the day we were baptized […]

Being Recovered to the Unique Ground of Oneness and the Enjoyment of Christ’s Riches

God’s people need to be recovered out of Babylon back to the unique ground of oneness - Deut. 12:5, 11-14; Psa. 133; Rev. 1:11. God’s people need to be recovered back to the enjoyment of the unsearchably rich Christ as the all-inclusive Spirit, typified by the good land - Eph. 3:8; Gal. 3:14; Deut. 827-10; Col. 1:12; 2:6-7. The Recovery of the Church (2017 fall ITERO) - outline 4

The history of Israel in the Old Testament is a full type of the history of the church, and the recovery of a remnant of the children of Israel from Babylon to Jerusalem for the rebuilding of the temple and the city signifies the Lord’s recovery of a remnant of the church out of today’s […]

Seeing the Degradation of the Church from God’s Original Intention for the Church

November 22, 2017 by aGodMan 9 Comments

Acts 13:1-2 Now there were in Antioch, in the local church, prophets and teachers....And as they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, Set apart for Me now Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.

When we see the original condition of the church and the degradation of the church, we will realise the great need for the recovery of the church today. After the Lord Jesus died and resurrected, He came and breathed Himself into His believers and imparted the divine life into them to regenerate them for His […]

Enjoying Christ as the Good Land in the Sphere of His Death and in His Resurrection

October 31, 2017 by aGodMan 8 Comments

On the north side of the good land, there is no river as a border; instead, there is Mount Hermon, a high mountain, which signifies the heavens, from which the dew of God’s grace descends on the mountains of Zion, typifying the local churches (Psa. 133); the elevated good land with Mount Hermon signifies the resurrected Christ, who has ascended to the heavens. Crystallization-Study of Ezekiel (2), outline 11

The borders of the good land as seen in Ezek. 47 are the Mediterranean Sea on the west, the Dead Sea and the Jordan river on the east, and Mount Hermon on the north. The good land is surrounded by waters of death, signifying that, as we enjoy Christ as the good land and allow […]
