The all-inclusive, extensive Christ is full of attractiveness, rich in magnetism, and our prize is to enjoy Christ as the reality of all the positive things in the universe, taking Him as the reality of all positive things in our daily living.
According to the Bible, Christ has become our life and our everything; He is the reality of every positive thing in the universe. The things that we can feel, taste, and touch are not real – Christ is the reality of all positive things.
The real food is not the physical food but Christ; the physical food doesn’t fully satisfy us, but Christ as our food needs all our need.
Christ is the real bread of life, the living bread, the bread that came out of heaven to satisfy our hunger. He is our real food in our spirit, soul, and body.
We should live not on bread alone but on every word that proceeds out of God’s mouth; Christ is the Word of God (Matt. 4:4; John 1:1).
Christ is our real life; our physical life is here today and gone tomorrow, but if we have Christ, we have the life (1 John 5:12).
Christ is not mere doctrine or truth to us; He is the reality of all positive things for us to apply, experience, and enjoy. Christ is our real wisdom; we may think we have wisdom, but Christ is the real wisdom to us from God (1 Cor. 1:30).
Christ is our real love; what we have as love is a picture of what Christ is as love (Rom. 8:39; 2 Cor. 5:14; Eph. 3:19; 1 Tim. 1:14).
Christ is our real knowledge, and real knowledge and wisdom is found in Him (Col. 2:3). Real patience is Christ; what we have is not real, but Christ is real patience (Gal. 5:22).
God is real, and God today is in Christ and is Christ; man is created in God’s image, but the reality of man is in Christ and is Christ (John 1:14; 1 Cor. 15:47).
Real light is Christ Himself, and light is in Him and of Him; to get light, we need to take Him as our light (John 8:12).
Christ is the reality of all positive things. He is the reality of our clothes, for He is our real covering and our real clothing (Rom. 13:14; Gal. 3:27).
Christ is our real rest and satisfaction; when we lie down on our bed, we need to realize that He is our real bed, our real rest (Rom. 11:28-29).
Christ is our real home; when we’re in our home, we need to take Him as our real dwelling place (Psa. 90:1; John 15:4). Christ is our real stairs taking us up to God and bringing God into us and us into God (John 1:51).
Christ is our real door for us to get in and out, for us to enter into the enjoyment of God’s riches (John 10:9).
Christ is our real sun, our real moon, and our way (Mal. 4:2; Col. 2:16-17; John 14:6).
We should not merely agree with what the Bible says concerning Christ but apply Him in our experience. God’s intention is that we would enjoy and experience Christ as the reality of all the positive things in the universe.
The All-inclusive, Extensive Christ, who is full of Attractiveness and Rich in Magnetism, is the Essence of the Bible
Our Christ is a magnetic person; He is rich in magnetism, and He draws all men to Himself.
The all-inclusive, extensive Christ, who is full of attractiveness and rich in magnetism, is the essence of the Bible (see Luke 24:44; John 5:39-40; Matt. 1:1). Magnets attract the opposite poles, and they can be exceedingly powerful. Christ is the greatest magnet in the universe.
The largest physical magnet we know of is the earth, having the North and the South magnetic poles and a magnetic field around it.
However, a magnet can be neutralized, for the power of a magnet is somewhat conditional; if you fail to line up with a magnet, the magnet loses its power.
Christ is the immense magnet, rich in magnetism and full of attractiveness; when we turn our heart to Him and allow Him to draw us, when we tell Him, Lord, draw me! we are magnetized by Him and we enjoy Him as the reality of all the positive things in the universe.
When He draws us to Himself, He brings us into our spirit; here, we see a new future, an unlimited future with no horizons, for He is the reality of every positive thing in the universe to us, and He as our spiritual universe is unlimited.
This Christ, who was an attractive One not only in His life on earth (when all men were drawn to Him and followed Him) but also after His resurrection, this One is the essence of the Bible.
The subject of the Bible and the secret of the universe is the divine romance; the entire Bible is a book of romance, and every verse in the Bible is the Lord’s whisper of inquiry toward us, Will you come to Me?
If we come to the Lord as we read His word, if we open our heart to Him and come to Him as we read the Bible, He will infuse Himself into us and will make us the same as He is.
The essence of the Bible is the One who is full of magnetism and attractiveness; simply by reading the Bible we are drawn to Him and we enjoy Him in His all-inclusiveness and extensiveness in the Bible.
May we come to Him whenever we come to His word, and may we allow Him to draw us, attract us, and bring us into Himself!
Lord Jesus, we love You! You are the most attractive One in the universe. We come to You in Your word to enjoy You, be infused with You, be drawn by You, and even be brought into You. Dear Lord Jesus, You are so full of attractiveness and rich in magnetism. We love to look into Your wonderful face and be infused with You through Your word. Draw us, Lord, and we will run after You. We turn our heart to You, Lord, and we keep turning to You until we are fully one with You, our dear, all-inclusive, extensive One!
Taking Christ as the Reality of All Material Things in our Daily Life to be Full of Christ
Our need is to not only know about Christ and know of Him but for this One to become the subjective Christ in our experience; He needs to become our enjoyment to complete the divine revelation in us (Col. 1:25-28).
If we are short in the experience and enjoyment of Christ, we are also short concerning God’s revelation.
Paul did complete the word of God, for he realized that Christ is in us as the hope of glory.
Now we all need to pursue the application of this wonderful fact, realizing that the subjective Christ who dwells in us is our hope of glory!
To participate in the completion of the Word of God, we need to pursue Christ extensively as the reality of every positive things.
Actually, whatever we do day by day should remind us of Christ as the reality of that thing.
If we follow the practice of taking Christ as the reality of all the material things in our daily life, our daily walk will be revolutionized and transformed, and we will be full of Christ (2 Cor. 4:16; Phil. 1:19-21).
Christ is the reality of every positive thing; this doesn’t mean, however, that all the positive things are Christ – to say this would be heretical.
Wherever we go, whatever we pick up, whatever we handle, whoever we speak to, whatever our surrounds are, everything needs to be evaluated according to Christ.
We are married to God and Christ, and we evaluate everything according to our Beloved. As we apply Christ as the reality of all the material things in our daily life, we bring Him into that experience.
For example we are about to drink a glass of water, and we are reminded of Christ as our refreshing drink; this ushers us into His indwelling in our mingled spirit, where He is the hope of glory.
As we turn to Him again and again in our daily life, applying Him as the reality of all positive things, we enjoy Him as our food, our drink, our rest, our joy, our satisfaction, our peace, and our everything.
Taking Christ as the reality of all positive things in the material world will causes us not to lose heart but to be renewed in our inner man day by day (2 Cor. 4:16).
For example, when Paul was in prison, he testified that even this would turn out to his salvation through the petition of the saints and the bountiful supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ (Phil. 1:19-21).
Paul enjoyed Christ and applied Him to his experience to such an extent that he even took Christ as his real prison, and in prison he enjoyed Christ as the reality of all positive things.
May we realize that God’s intention is that Christ would be everything to us in a practical way in our daily living, and may we apply Christ as the reality of all the positive things around us.
The things we use, eat, drink, touch, and feel are not real; they are here today and gone tomorrow, but Christ is the reality of all positive thing.
It is God’s intention that His Christ would be everything to us; so we must learn the practical way to experience Him, contact Him, and apply Him to our daily experience.
Christ is the real food that we eat, the real drink that we drink, the real air that we breathe, the real light shining on us, the real life that enlivens us, the real knowledge and wisdom, the real love, the real patience, the real God, the real Man, the real covering, the real transportation, the real home, the real door, and the real supply.
May we daily practice taking Christ as the reality of all positive things in the universe and applying Him in prayer to our experience, as He draws us to Himself.
Lord Jesus, You are our real covering and clothing. You are our real rest and satisfaction. You are our true home and real dwelling place. You are the way. You are the life. You are our real food and drink. Lord, You are the real love, patience, knowledge, wisdom, and joy. We take You, Lord, as the reality of every positive thing. We apply You as the reality of all material things in our daily life so that our daily living would be full of Christ. You are the real God, the real man, the real life, and the real light!
