we receive a vision of Christ in glory by being revived every morning, spending adequate time with Him

The One seen by Isaiah was the King, Jehovah of Hosts – this One is the glorious Christ. Just like Isaiah, we also need to receive the vision of Christ in glory. What was amazing to me was Isaiah’s reaction to seeing this Christ in glory. Isa. 6:4-5 says:

And the foundations of the threshold shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke. Then I said, Woe is me, for I am finished!/ For I am a man of unclean lips,/ And in the midst of a people of unclean lips I dwell;/ Yet my eyes have seen the King, Jehovah of hosts.

So this is what happens – when we see our Glorious Christ and all that He is, we are terminated, finished. We realize we are men of unclean lips and we dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips. The revelation we receive comprises not just seeing but also killing. This kind of killing, that which comes from the light we receive of the Lord, is the greatest thing in the Christian experience.

The more of God we see, the more light we receive, the more we hate ourselves, the more we will deny ourselves. However, the experience does not end here. The more we see the Lord, the more we are measured, the more we will be cleansed, supplied, and ultimately transformed.

It is through this process that we gain God and receive His element into us. And it is in this way that we will fulfil God’s ultimate heart’s desire.

So, how do we see more of God? How do we receive this light and experience this process of being enlightened, judged, measured, and transformed? We need a revival every morning. Morning revival is a time for us to see the Lord. We need to bring this matter to the Lord and consider before Him how to practically work out our time with the Lord in the mornings.

Every evening, before going to bed, we need to determine how much time we need in the morning and then add another 15 or 20 minutes so that we can have adequate time to present ourselves before Jehovah to gaze upon His glorious face.

Lord, awaken us morning by morning to behold Your Glorious face. Give us a hunger and thirst to seek You earnestly that we may receive the marvelous revelations of all that You are.

This is a portion of enjoyment by Maria from message 4 “The Vision of Christ in Glory”, crystallization-study of Isaiah(1).

this is the "song" version of this article, to be sung to the new tune of "My Will is Weak" – http://www.hymnal.net/hymn.php/nt/578

1) The One, 'twas seen by Isaiah,
The King he was, Jehov'h of Hosts —
This One is just the glorious Christ.
Just like Isaiah, we would receive–
The vision of Christ in glory.

2) Isaiah, he said, "Woe is me,
For I am finished!/ For I am a man
Of unclean lips,/ And in the midst of
A people of unclean lips I dwell;/
My eyes have seen the King, Jehovah.

3) When we would see our Glorious Christ
And all He is, we're terminated,
We realize we are just men
Of unclean lips–and we dwell in
The midst of a people of unclean lips.

4) The revelation we receive,
Comprises not just seeing, but killing.
This kind of killing, that which comes
From light received of the Lord is,
The great'st thing in Christian exp'rience.

5) The more of God we see, the more
Light we'd receive, the more ourselves hate–
The more we will deny ourselves.
However, the experience–
This experience does not end here.

6) The more we see the Lord, the more–
The more that we are measured, thoroughly–
The more we will be cleansed by Him,
We'll be supplied, ultimately transformed.
To be supplied, and be transformed.

7) It's through this process, we gain God,
And thus receive His elem'nt into us.
And it is in this way that we
Fulfill God’s ultimate desire.
Fulfilling God's true heart's desire!

8) How do we see still more of God?
How do we then receive this light–
Experience this process of–
Our being enlight'ned, judged by God,
So measured, and transformed by Him?

9) To be revived, each, every morn,
A time for us to see the Lord.
We would ensure adequate time–
Present ourselves before Jehov'h
To gaze upon His glorious face.

10) Lord, waken us–morning by morning
That we'd behold Your Glorious face.
Give us a hunger and a thirst,
To seek You earnestly, receive–
The marv'lous revelations, of all You are.
