We need to contact Christ in our spirit by talking to Him, telling Him what’s on our heart

In order to contact something, we need to use the proper organ. For example, if you want to hear the voice of someone you need to use your ears. Now Christ is the Spirit today, so then we need to use our human spirit to contact Him.

The spirit is the deepest part of our being. Thus, in order to contact Christ, understanding that He is the living Savior and the Spirit, we just need to exercise the deepest part of our being to talk with Him.

We do not need to compose a big prayer, but we need to be like a little child when he talks with his mother. When a little child talks to his mother, he does not need to use elaborate and complex sentences, but he just expresses what he feels inside.

We just need to go to Christ, knowing that He is very living and that He is the Spirit, and because of this, He is very approachable and He is very close to us. As we come to the Lord, we just need to tell Him what we feel in the deepest part of our being.

It does not matter what we feel – we just need to tell Him. If we feel something is wrong between us and the Lord or with other persons (our parents, with our partner…) we can tell Him in a simply way:

Lord Jesus, I feel I am wrong. I am wrong with so many things.

Just talk to Him like that – don’t think about the best words to use, we do not need that, just tell Him what you feel inside. If you feel you are sad, just tell Him: “Lord, I feel sad. I have many problems”. Later tell Him your problems in a living and practical way.

Saints, we need to open our being to the Lord and talk to Him. Wherever you are right now, open yourself to the Lord, tell Him what is on your heart, talk with Him as you talk with your friend, talk to Him as you talk to your father. Actually we need to learn how to contact Him every moment (1 Thessalonians 5:17), using short sentences. [guest post, bro. Eliezer]
