We need to Love God with our whole Being and Fear God to be Sanctified unto Him

But on your fathers Jehovah set His affection to love them and to choose their seed after them, that is, you above all the peoples, as it is this day. Deut. 10:15

For us to be the proper kind of persons who care for what God cares in our organic union with Him, we need to love God and fear God, loving God with all our being and having a proper fear of God. Amen!

It is crucial for us to realize that God wants us to live, act, behave, work, and have our being in Christ, by Christ, with Christ, through Christ, and in oneness with Christ.

Paul lived in the reality of the good land and testified that he was crucified with Christ and the life he lived was in the organic union with Christ who loved him and gave Himself up for him.

We need to realize that we were crucified with Christ, we died in Him and with Him, and the life we now live is in His resurrection, being organically joined to Him to live one with Him and in Him.

The good land – the all-inclusive Christ as the life-giving Spirit to be our bountiful supply – can be our inheritance and enjoyment only when we abide in the Lord, when we remain in the organic union with the Lord.

When we live and abide in our mingled spirit, we enjoy Christ as the good land; when we live in contact with the Lord in the mingled spirit, we enjoy Him as the allotted portion of the good land.

But when we don’t live in the living contact with the Lord, when we’re oblivious to the good land and we don’t care for enjoying the Lord, this is a victory to the enemy and a heart-break for the Lord, the One who loves us and who has set His affection on us.

The Lord is still waiting for all His believers to give up all the idols, all the things that replace Him in their life, and turn to Him, be drawn by His dying love, and love God and fear God.

Amen, may we all learn not to trust in ourselves but take God’s desire as our desire, and also take Christ as our life and our life supply; in this way we can fulfill God’s requirements, and we can enter the good land to enjoy its riches.

We need to Love God with all our Heart, Soul, and Might – with our whole Being!

And you shall love Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. Deut. 6:5

And you shall love Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. Deut. 6:5

In Deut. 6:5 and 10:12 Moses charged the people of Israel to love God. We need to love God, fear Him, and set our whole being on Him; we need to love the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind, strength, and set our whole being on Him.

This word “love” implies affection, which is something very tender.

On one hand God has a system of government to discipline us and preserve us, but this system is for us to see His love toward us and love Him back.

He wants us to be able to enter into the tender parts of Christ and sense how much God cares for us and how deeply He is concerned with us.

When we register God’s love toward us and are drawn by it, we are captivated by His love; His love constrains us like a mighty tide, like a tsunami pushing us ahead (2 Cor. 5:14).

His love is irresistible; when we register His love for us, we love God in the same way.

God Himself has set an example of loving by setting His affection on us, His people (Deut. 10:15); now we love Him because He presented Himself to us as love.

The inner essence and substance of God is love, and His whole being throughout eternity is based upon His spousal love for us.

When we register that love, we believe into Him, we sense His love, and we love Him with this love. We should love God by setting our affection on Him in response to His setting His affection upon us.

The love of God in 1 John 2:5 denotes our love toward God, which is generated by His love within us.

God first loved us in that He infused us with His love and generated within us the love with which we love Him and the brothers (1 John 4:19-21).

This should just cause us to love God; all our hardness is melting as we see His love, and we love God and we love the brothers. We love because He first loved us; because of His love for us, we also love the brothers.

In Deut. 10:12 Moses spoke of loving God with all our heart and all our soul, and in 6:5 he commanded us to love God with all our heart, soul, and might (which is our physical strength).

We need to love God with our whole being, that is, love God from our heart, through our soul, our mind, to our body (Mark 12:30).

This means that the love of God has been poured out in our heart to saturate our heart, our whole soul, and even our body; from our spirit, from our heart as we love Him, our soul is filled with Him as love, and even the body expresses His love.

We can be such persons that represent God and express Him in His love; this equips us to enter into the good land by matching Him in His love.

To love God (1 Cor. 2:9) means to set our entire being – spirit, soul, and body, with the heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30) – absolutely on Him.

To love God means to set our entire being—spirit, soul, and body, with the heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30)—absolutely on Him, that is, to let our entire being be occupied by Him and lost in Him, so that He becomes everything to us and we are one with Him practically in our daily life. In this way we have the closest and most intimate fellowship with God. It is thus we are able to enter into His heart and apprehend all its secrets (Psa. 73:25; 25:14). Thus, we not only realize, but also experience, enjoy, and fully participate in these deep and hidden things of God. Witness Lee, Life-study of 1 Corinthians, p. 144This is to let our entire being be occupied by Him and lost in Him, so that He becomes everything to us and we are one with Him practically in our daily life.

If we really love God and are willing to set our being on Him, all our struggles are over, we are changed, and we become a different person – one who senses that the whole universe is new, and we see things that no eye has seen, we hear things that no ear has heard, and we realize things that otherwise no one can comprehend.

Because we set our affection on God and love God in response to His setting His affection on us and loving us, we are one spirit with Him, one person with Him, and we enjoy Him as the good land.

When we love God, everyone and everything is different, and everything is in Him; we live in the organic union with the Lord, we realize that He loved us so we love Him, and as we love Him in our union with Him, we enter into Him as the good land, and we see the new universe filled with Himself and all that He has prepared to those who love Him.

May we be such ones; may we be those who respond to the Lord’s love, offer ourselves willingly to Him to love Him, set our affection on Him, and love God with all our heart, soul, and might, even with our whole being, so that we may enter into the full enjoyment of the good land!

Lord Jesus, we love You because You first loved us. You set Your affection on us and loved us to the uttermost; we simply respond to You in love. Lord, we set our affection on You; we love You because You first loved us and because You infused us with Your love and generated within us the love with which we love You and the brothers! Amen, Lord, thank You for commanding us to love You with all our heart, soul, and might; we love You with our whole being in response to Your love and in the organic union with You! Lord Jesus, we love You!

We all should Fear God and have a Proper Fear of God to be Sanctified unto Him as a Holy People

And now, O Israel, what does Jehovah your God ask of you except that you fear Jehovah your God so that you would walk in all His ways and love Him and serve Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul. Deut. 10:12

And now, O Israel, what does Jehovah your God ask of you except that you fear Jehovah your God so that you would walk in all His ways and love Him and serve Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul. Deut. 10:12

In Deut. 14:23 and 31:13 Moses commanded the people of Israel to fear God.

To fear God is not to be afraid of God in a negative way but to have a sense of reverent awe, wanting to prostrate, to incline our being and register His majesty, realizing all that He is to us not only as our Father in grace but also as our God.

Today, however, many people – especially the young ones – do not fear anything, and especially God; they reject any authority that God has placed over them, and they are in open rebellion against God and His ordination.

We all should recognize that, according to God’s ordination, He has set authorities over us in the family, in society, and in the church; in all that we do, say, and think, we should fear God.

God is observing us; He knows where we are and what we are doing, and eventually we will reap a harvest from what we sow, and we will eat the fruit of this harvest.

This is not to threaten us or cause us to be afraid of God, but so that we may fear God and walk in His ways.

We may not like to hear about fearing God, but we need to know that our God is God and we need to fear God, having an awe-filled reverence for Him, not wanting to disappoint Him or contradict Him, not wanting to grieve Him.

This means that, just as it matters to Him concerning us, so it matters to us concerning Him, and as we know that some things will hurt Him, we will not do them.

He has prepared the good land for us, but we may be delaying our entrance into the good land, we may be nonchalant, and we may not heed His word.

May we be those who not only love Him but also fear Him, having a proper fear of God (Prov. 1:7; 9:10; 1 Pet. 1:17; 2:17; 3:2, 16; 2 Cor. 7:1).

The fear of God is the beginning of knowledge and wisdom; we need to fear God and be in awe of Him. This is a holy fear, a serious caution that leads us to behave holily (Phil. 2:12).

When we fear God, we work out our own salvation with fear and trembling, behaving in a holy manner in all our living.

We should fear God and want to be separated, sanctified, unto Him as a holy people (Eph. 1:4; 5:27; Col. 1:22; 1 Thes. 5:23; 1 Pet. 1:16).

The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of knowledge... Prov. 1:7 aThe fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Prov. 9:10

The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of knowledge… Prov. 1:7 aThe fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Prov. 9:10

We are partakers of His holiness; we received His divine holy nature, we allow Him as the holy One to saturate us and make us the same as He is, and in this way we experience Him as the good land.

For us to have such an experience we need to be the right kind of person, those who have a life separated unto Him, sanctified in Him, having our whole being saturated with Him.

To fear God is to submit to His authority; all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Him (Matt. 28:18), and we need to submit ourselves to Him.

Because God is severe toward those who are rebellious, we need to fear Him (Num. 12:1-12; 16:1-35). In Numbers 12 we see that Moses’ two closest ones, Miriam and Aaron, rebelled against Jehovah and Moses, His deputy authority, and they were severely disciplined by God.

Regardless of who we are, we will fail in this matter, so we need to believe into Christ, abide in our organic union with Him, and ask to be protected from being rebellious against God by having a healthy fear of God.

If we lax in our awe-filled reverence toward God, we take a dangerous position before God, for He is severe toward those who are rebellious; so we need to fear God.

Lord Jesus, give us a proper and healthy fear of God so that we may be preserved in the enjoyment of the good land and not be disciplined as a rebellious one. May we be filled with a holy fear, a healthy and serious caution that leads us to behave holily. Amen, Lord Jesus, may we be awe-filled with reverence toward You and desire to be separated, sanctified unto You as Your holy people. We submit to Your authority and we refuse to be rebellious, for You are severe toward those who are rebellious. Oh Lord, may we be those who love You and fear You so that we may preserved in the enjoyment of Christ as the good land!

    – As I love You I set my being— / My spirit, my soul and body. / With my heart, my mind, and my strength, / Absolutely on Thee. / Lord, I let my entire being / Be occupied by Thee / As I enter in Your heart / I sense a fellowship sweet. / Occupied and lost in You; / My Lord, You’re my everything. / Fellowship so intimate; / In spirit Lord I enjoy Thee. (Song on, Mary poured out her love offering)
    – I am an empty vessel—not one thought / Or look of love to Thee I’ve ever brought; / Yet I may come, and come again to Thee, / With this the empty sinner’s only plea, / Thou lovest me. / Oh, fill me, Jesus, Savior, with Thy love! (Hymns #154)
    – Our conscience too the Lord must clear, / That we may walk in godly fear; / Our conscience must be keen today, / Else we cannot the Lord obey. / ’Tis by His growing, spreading thus, / The Lord will have His home in us; / A place on earth where He is Lord, / Full rights to Him we will afford.
