Love Prevails: We Love because He First Loved Us with His Divine Love (2023 NACT)

We love because He first loved us. 1 John 4:19. Sharing on, Love Prevails: We Love because He First Loved Us with His Divine Love (2023 NACT)

Praise the Lord for the North American College Training!

It was my first time in the college training and in the USA but it felt like I was at home because of all the saints’ care and love. I was reminded how wonderful Rom. 12:5 is as it says ‘we who are many are one Body’ and ‘members one of another’.

Praise the Lord for the one Body! It is a great testimony that even if I come to Poland or USA, no matter what language we speak or our background, we are one Body and we enjoy and love the same Person.

From the NACT, I really enjoyed message 2 of Love Prevails. The title is “We Love Because He First Loved Us“. This is from 1 John 4:19.

We hear about loving the Lord from a young age and sometimes we might have a natural concept about love. The brothers really helped us to turn to our spirit and to come as the little children in Matthew 11. This helped me to seek more of God’s love in every moment whatever I might be doing.

The word ‘prevails’ indicates that there is an opposing force and we saw that there is an opposing force to love. This is the enemy, Satan, and he fires ‘flaming darts’ at our minds to cause us to doubt the love of God.

Satan is using the same strategy to us as what he used in Genesis with Adam and Eve. He wants mankind to doubt firstly God’s word, and secondly God’s heart.

That’s why we need to know the word and get into the word. Don’t doubt God’s words. But if we have these doubts, the Lord is patient.

He will wait until we come back to Him and meet Him as love. Then God will give you a vision of His heart.

We have to remain firm and hold the truth as the enemy will continually attack us.

In Hosea 11:4 we see that the Lord drew us with cords of a man. This means that His divine love is not on the level of divinity but on the level of humanity. This means that the Lord came to our level to love us. This is so precious.

In Rom 8:35-39, we see that nothing can separate us from the love of God. Even if the whole universe is against us, we more than conquer through Him who loved us.

As I was listening to the message, I remembered my first consecration to the Lord and I really enjoyed this song around that time.

I love God because He loved me long before the world began.
I love God because He knew my destiny.
I love God because He made me part of His eternal plan.
I love God because He first Loved me.

Thank you, Lord, for loving us. Lord keep drawing us with Your precious love. Even today, cause me to see and grow in Your love.
