We have Life and Live by Faith as we Contact God and are Infused with Him as Faith

...But the righteous shall have life and live by faith. Rom. 1:17

The way for us to receive the linking faith and develop it is to contact the Lord by calling on His name, praying to Him, pray-reading His word, and musing on His word; through this faith we are linked to the Triune God and God is imparted into us so that we have life and live by faith. Hallelujah!

What a wonderful Christian life we have – we can contact God, receive God, enjoy God, and be filled with God!

Our life is not merely in what we see outwardly, and we are not here to obtain more outward riches; our Christian life is a life of enjoying and gaining Christ as the riches of the Triune God!

Before we became a Christian, that is, before we were born of God, we may have focused on many things outwardly.

But once we heard the gospel and something of God was infused into us, there was a change within: now our desire is to gain more of Christ and to allow Him to work Himself into us a little more day by day.

Before we were saved, we thought that God is up there in heaven, looking down at us and having great expectations from us, and it was impossible for us to please Him.

But now as believers in Christ, we realize that God wants to be infused into man to become the linking faith, the faith that links us to the Triune God. Wow!

Yes, we are saved, and we are being saved; we are daily being saved from anything else that is not God and we’re infused with God!

And this is not by us giving up everything of this world and just reading the Bible; no, it is simply by our opening to Him again and again throughout the day and calling on His name.

Whenever we call on the name of the Lord, we are saved and we enjoy His riches (Rom. 10:13).

When we call on the name of the Lord and we just tell Him we love Him, we are in spirit, and we are linked to the Triune God. Hallelujah!

We may have to go to work or we may study at university, but inwardly we are linked with God, and we are God-men.

We, human beings, are men of faith, men of God, even God-men, for we are organically joined to the Lord.

No matter what others do to us or say to us, even though they may persecute us or mistreat us, we are linked to the Triune God, we love the Lord, and He is working Himself into us little by little, day by day.

How wonderful it is to just open to the Lord and call on His name, speak to Him concerning what’s on our heart, and listen to what is on His heart!

When we do this, when we pray and open to Him, we empty ourselves out and we receive more of God.

As we empty ourselves of what we are and open to HIm to be filled with Him, we are linked to God, the linking faith operates in us, and we live Christ by the faith of Jesus Christ.

We live by faith – not by our own faith, not by the faith that we produce, but by Christ as our faith. Amen!

Contacting the Lord, the Source of Faith, to have God Infused into us as our Faith

So faith [comes] out of hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. Rom. 10:17 ...as God has apportioned to each a measure of faith. Rom. 12:3How can we receive and live by the linking faith? Where does faith come from?

Faith is something wonderful and mysterious, for the Bible says that he who comes forward to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

The way for us to receive such a faith, the faith that links us with the Triune God, is to contact its source, which is Christ Himself.

The processed and consummated God is the source of faith, and we can receive faith and be infused with faith by calling on His name, praying to Him, pray-reading His word, and musing on His word (Heb. 4:16; Rom. 10:12-13. 2 Tim. 2:22; Eph. 6:17-18; Psa. 119:15).

When we read, pray, and muse over the word of God, we are infused with God as our faith. This faith links us with God and imparts, transfuses, God into us.

It is in this way that we become men of faith, men filled with faith. This faith links us with God and imparts what God is into us to become our living faith. Amen!

We received such faith initially when we called on the name of the Lord; this is the initial stage, when we heard the word of the gospel.

We were once sinners, but one day under God’s sovereign hand we heard the preaching of the gospel, and the word of God reached us.

Through being under the hearing of the word, faith came into us, and we just believed.

Through this believing into the Lord, we were brought into an organic union with Him, that is, we were linked to Him by faith.

But this is not just something we experience once and for all; throughout the day and day after day, we need to continue to contact the Lord in His word with the exercise of our spirit to be infused with Him even more!

We need to come to the throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace for timely help (Heb. 4:16).

We need to contact God by faith and receive more of Him.

As we call on the name of the Lord, speak to Him, pray, and pray over His word and muse with His word, we receive more of His element into our being. In this way, faith increases in us.

We need faith to increase in us, that is, we need to be infused more with God!

Our faith links us with God and imparts God into us; we are transfused by God through our contact with Him.

When we contact this Triune God through prayer and by looking to Him, by means of our spirit, which was once dead and was made alive, He infuses Himself into us in many ways to become the faith within us toward Him and the love outside of us toward those who belong to Him. Such faith and such love are the reality and expression (1 John 4:8, 16) of the Triune God — the Father, the Son, and the Spirit — in whom we believe and whom we worship and receive. Titus 3:15, part of note 1, Recovery Version BibleThe more we are in the word of God by means of prayer, musing, and prayerful consideration, the more God moves within us and the more our faith grows.

In this way, we become men of faith, men filled with faith. Through believing into the Lord by our initial contact with Him, the Spirit was installed into us through the hearing of the word.

Now the Spirit, which is the faith which has been installed into us, stays within us and grows in us (Rom. 10:17; 12:3).

We need to grow in faith. Our faith in the Lord needs to grow.

Faith is not only something we receive initially and then we just have it; faith is something that grows, and faith grows by our contacting its source, which is the processed and consummated Triune God, in His word!

When we contact the Triune God by prayer and by looking to Him, He infuses Himself into us as our faith, and we simply believe.

In this way, we are organically joined to Him, and in this organic union, we receive what He is and are constituted with His element. Hallelujah!

May we continually receive such a linking faith by contacting the Triune God, by calling on Him, by praying to Him, by pray-reading His word, and by musing on His word!

Lord Jesus, increase our faith! We come to You, the source of faith, and we come to Your word with the exercise of our spirit. Amen, Lord, we exercise our spirit to enjoy You in Your word by calling on Your name, praying to You, and pray-reading Your word. Infuse us more with Yourself. Become our faith, our believing ability, by which we can live a life by faith. Amen, Lord, we love to muse on Your word, absorbing Your riches into our being. We love to call on Your name and receive all that You are into us. Amen, Lord, may our faith increase, be developed, and be perfected so that, at Your return, we may have faith and be raptured!

We Believers Have Life and Live by Faith, the Linking Faith, the Increase of God in us!

I will muse upon Your precepts / And regard Your ways. Psa. 119:15 Rich in meaning, the Hebrew word for muse (often translated meditate in the KJV) implies to worship, to converse with oneself, and to speak aloud. To muse on the word is to taste and enjoy it through careful considering. Prayer, speaking to oneself, and praising the Lord may also be included in musing on the word. To muse on the word of God is to enjoy His word as His breath (2 Tim. 3:16) and thus to be infused with God, to breathe God in, and to receive spiritual nourishment. Psa. 119:15, note 1, Recovery Version BibleIt is so tragic and sad to see that many believers remain in the initial stage of faith, the faith that came through the hearing of the gospel.

Yes, the Spirit was installed into them through the hearing of the word, but they do not develop their faith rather, their faith remains in the same quantity, at the same level. Oh, Lord Jesus!

We need to cooperate with the Lord to not only have life – the divine life we have received by believing into the Lord – but also live by faith (Rom. 1:17)!

The righteous shall have life and live by faith – this verse in Rom. 1:17 reveals that we have the righteousness of God, the life of Christ, and the faith of the believers.

The structure of the gospel of God is the righteousness of God, the life of Christ, and the faith of the believers.

To have life by faith is the initiation, and this is something that all genuine believers in Christ have.

However, to live by faith is the going on, the progressing stage of faith. We need to advance.

We need to progress in faith. Faith in this second stage, the progressing stage, is the linking faith that comes to us through our contacting the Triune God.

If we as believers in Christ contact God, faith grows in us; if we contact the Lord every day, even if we just offer Him some simple prayers throughout the day, in our busy schedule, we are infused with Him and faith grows in us.

The more we contact the Lord, the more God increases in us. We all have the same faith in quality, for we have been allotted the equally precious faith, which is Christ Himself infused into us to be our faith.

However, the quantity of faith that we have depends upon how much we contact the living God so that He as our faith may increase in us.

There is a difference between a believer in Christ who does not contact the Lord every day and one who does.

The one who contacts the Lord simply has more faith, and this faith is not his faith but it is Christ infused into him to be his faith.

The quantity of faith that we have depends on how much we contact the living God so that He may increase in us.

When God increases in us, the linking faith grows in us (see Col. 2:19).

We thank and praise the Lord that we all have the same faith in quality, for all genuine believers in Christ have received faith by believing into the Lord.

But the quantity, the amount of faith that each believer has depends on the growth in life of that believer.

I am crucified with Christ; and [it is] no longer I [who] live, but [it is] Christ [who] lives in me; and the [life] which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the [faith] of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. Gal. 2:20If we contact the Lord day by day, if we pay the price to spend time with Him no matter what happens around us, He as faith increases in us, and our linking faith increases.

Then, we will not only have life but also live by faith, for faith increases in our being.

Amen, when we contact God, God will dispense Himself into us to become our faith, and this faith increases in us.

This is why we need to contact the Triune God all the time, to be linked to Him all the time.

The more we turn to our spirit and contact the Lord, the more faith increases in us, and we have life and live by faith.

We can then declare one with Paul that we no longer live, for we have been crucified with Christ; and the life which we now live in the flesh, we live in faith, the faith of the Son of God (Gal. 2:20).

Christ took care of crucifying us; He made us one with Him and we were crucified with Him.

Now we live, but we live not in or by ourselves but in faith, in the organic union with the Lord, in the new creation.

May we be such genuine believers who have life and live by faith, living in the organic union with the Lord day by day.

Thank You, dear Lord Jesus, for making us one with You in Your crucifixion. Hallelujah, we were crucified with Christ and it is no longer us who live but Christ who lives in us! Amen, Lord, the life which we now live, we live in faith – the faith of the Son of God who loved us and gave Himself up for us! We come to You, dear Lord, and we open our whole being to You. Cleanse us with Your precious blood. Turn our heart to You. Infuse us with Yourself as our faith. Cause our faith to grow. Amen, Lord, may You increase in us so that our linking faith may increase. Keep us coming to You day by day and even moment by moment to contact You and be infused with You. Amen, Lord, we love You! We want to be those who have life and live by faith!

Galatians 2:20 says, “I am crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith of the Son of God.” Many among us know this verse, but actually Galatians 2:20 is difficult to understand. If I am crucified without Christ, that is pitiful, but I have been crucified with Christ. He takes care of the matter. He bears the responsibility. Christ does not live by Himself alone. Christ lives “in me.” We should circle the words in me in our Bible. If we saw that Christ lives in us, we would be excited. You were crucified. It is no longer you, yet Christ still lives in you. You say “no longer,” but something is still going on. So Galatians 2:20 continues by saying, “And the life which I now live in the flesh.” Christ lives in me, and I now live a life in the flesh. I live this life in faith. It is no longer I who live, but still I live. The “I” who no longer lives is the old creation. The “I” who now lives is the new creation… I live this life in faith. This means that faith is going on. In Romans 1:17 to have life by faith is the initiation. But here Paul says, “I live in faith.” Faith is going on. Faith in the second stage, the stage of living Christ,… comes into you by your contacting God in Christ. So you have to contact the Triune God all the time. All the time you should contact the Son. Then you will also touch the Father and the Spirit. Faith in the second stage comes to us through our contacting the Triune God.
