we are the salt of the earth, the light of the world, the gospel seeds, and branches in the vine(Poland camp 2010)

My name is Valentina, I am from Ukraine. It was my first time attending the young people’s conference in Poland / the Poland camp. I was touched by the special fellowship that we had on one of the days. We as believers are the salt of the earth, the light of the world, gospel seeds, and branches in the vine.

People around us are dying! We shouldn’t be so self-centered! When we come into the classroom at school or at the university we should take care of the people who are there! We should bring Christ to them. God lives in us! Wherever we go He goes with us.

But we shouldn’t be like those who places their lamp under the bushel. “Let your light shine before men” The Lord touched me so much regarding our influence as believers on the world. I want to preach the gospel to all my group-mates / class-mates, because it may be their last chance to hear the gospel.

We are our last year together… Oh Lord Jesus! Lord, Enlarge my borders. I want to enjoy You more and more! Make me like a tree which is planted beside the water (Jer. 17:7-8). We need to have such a close fellowship with the Lord, such intimate transactions with Him so that we may be filled with Him and we would be able to dispense Christ into others! Amen!

I also enjoyed the atmosphere at the conference. I enjoyed the way all the saints released their spirit: they were so simple, so burning, so opened to the Lord. I realized that I also should be more opened to Him.

When the saints were sharing, they just poured all their being, testifying of their enjoyment of the Lord. It was really the testimony of the Lord working in all the saints and the young people.

I was deeply touched when one brother from Russia came up to the microphone and desperately prayed on his knees about the vital group in his locality, and his desire before the Lord that his friend would be saved. Aren’t these people those who really love the Lord?

I was really nourished by the memorization of the verses – all throughout the week we just redeemed the time and we were memorizing verses from the Bible. It was so pleasant! I have never learnt so many verses in such a short period of time 🙂

The Lord still supplies me through these verses and through the portion for memorization, which has become my constitution. I was enjoying the Lord so much that after the conference when I visited my relatives – I spontaneously preached the gospel to them. My niece who is ten years old was saved 🙂 I’m so happy!

What we are privileged to enjoy in Christ is the foretaste of the blessings in the coming kingdom. The proper enjoyment of this foretaste will usher us into the full taste of the kingdom blessings. Let’s enjoy the Lord today so that we would be able to participate in Christ’s kingdom tomorrow! [enjoyment from the 2010 Poland camp by sister Valentina]

Wow! What a testimony! Thank You very much for your sharing!
Yes Lord Jesus we want to enjoy You more and more! In this dark age make us those who have such a close, intimate fellowship with You that You can even use us to gain more people for Your Kingdom. Thank You Lord that we do not have to speak our own words but we can let YOUR WORDS abide in us and speak this to others!

Lord cover us and bless us by keeping us simple and open. Fully release our spirit to enjoy to the uttermost and to minister Your life to others!
