We abide in the Triune God by means of the linking Spirit and according to the teaching of the anointing of the Triune God; the anointing is in us and teaches us everything, unveiling the Triune God to us, and leads us to abide in God. Hallelujah!
The practical way for us to abide in the Triune God is by heeding the anointing; the anointing is simply the moving of the Triune God in us, the moving of the Spirit in our inner being.
As branches in Christ the vine, we need to abide in Him. To abide in the Lord is to live in the Divine Trinity, and for the Lord to abide in us is for us to live with the Divine Trinity.
We can abide in Christ, the vine, first by seeing a vision that we are branches in the vine; when we see that we are branches, we will say, Hallelujah, we are branches in Christ the vine!
We abide in the Lord by having fellowship with the Lord, and our fellowship with Him is in spirit.
There’s no other way for us to abide in the Lord except by means of our mingled spirit; the Lord is the Spirit (1 Cor. 3:17), and we abide in Him by turning to our spirit, exercising our spirit, and living in spirit.
Our whole Christian life is a life of abiding in the Lord; we maintain our fellowship with the Lord by conversing with Him.
The way to unceasingly pray so that we abide in the Lord constantly is to converse with Him, telling Him about all things and allowing Him to speak to us. We abide in the Lord by remaining in the organic union with Him, for we are one spirit with Him.
Our abiding in the Lord is the condition for His abiding in us; if we abide in Him, He abides in us, for His abiding in us has our abiding in Him as the condition. And when we abide in the Lord, we actually abide in the Son, in the Father, and in God (1 John 2:6, 24; 3:22-24).
We abide in the Lord with His lordship by taking Him as our Lord and king, and by enthroning Him in our being.
We abide in Christ as the Son of God by enjoying the sonship, the privilege and responsibilities of being a son of God, enjoying the Father’s divine life and nature.
We abide in the Father to enjoy His rich and wonderful care for us by abiding in the Son, for the Son and the Father are one.
We abide in God by having faith in the Son of God and having the love of God to love all the brothers.
And the secret to our abiding in the Lord is our mingled spirit, our spirit mingled with the Lord as the Spirit.
It is in this linking Spirit, the Spirit mingled with our spirit linking us to the divine Spirit, that we can abide in the Lord.
We Abide in the Triune God by Heeding the Teaching of the Anointing of the Triune God
1 John 2:27 speaks of the anointing; this word “anointing” is a verbal noun, something in continual motion and action.
A type of this anointing is seen in the Old Testament in Ezo. 30 with the anointing oil, the compound ointment.
The Lord’s speaking to us is His inner anointing, is operating. The anointing is the moving of the Spirit in us, the Triune God moving and living in us to speak to us and anoint is.
The anointing is not some sort of a leading from God on special occasions; the anointing of the Triune God is the moving and the working of the indwelling Spirit (v. 20; 1 Cor. 15:45; 2 Cor. 3:6).
The anointing is of the Triune God and of the eternal life; the anointing is the moving, working, and painting of the indwelling Spirit.
The indwelling Spirit is a compound Spirit, an all-inclusive, life-giving Spirit.
In this divine ointment that moves in us, there are the elements of the Father, the Son, and eternal life.
All believers in Christ have such an anointing within them, and this anointing teaches us; the anointing of the Triune God teaches us to abide in the Lord.
We learn to abide in Christ, this wonderful One who is Christ, the Lord, the Son, the Father, and God, by the teaching of the anointing of the Triune God.
When we contact the Lord through the exercise of our spirit, He as the divine paint is moving within us; this is the moving of the ointment, the anointing.
As the indwelling Spirit moves in us, we are made clear concerning what we should be, what we should say, whom should we contact, where should we go, and what we should do.
If we follow the teaching of the anointing, we will abide in the Lord; the anointing of the Triune God teaches us to abide in the Lord.
If we abide in the Lord, we will live according to the teaching of the anointing in all the affairs and details of our daily life.
If we heed the inner anointing of the Triune God, we will hear a lot of “No, don’t do this”, “No, don’t say that”, and “No, don’t go there”.
Many times the anointing tells us not to laugh that much, and if we obey the anointing of the Triune God within us, we will abide in the Lord.
The anointing teaches us concerning all things; the anointing teaches us to know the will of God, His heart’s desire, His very nature, and His being.
We abide in the divine fellowship of Christ by experiencing the cleansing of the Lord’s blood and the application of the anointing Spirit to our inner being (John 15:4-5; 1 John 1:5, 7; 2:20, 27).
First the blood, and then the ointment; first we confess our sins and apply the Lord’s blood, and then we have the anointing of the Triune God.
Christ as the Head is the anointed One and also the anointing One; we as His members enjoy Him as the inner anointing (2 Cor. 1:21-22).
The anointing anoints God into us so that we may be saturated with God, possess God, and understand the mind of God (Psa. 133; 1 Cor. 2:16; Rom. 8:6, 27).
The anointing, as the moving and working of the compound Spirit within us, communicates the mind of Christ by the inner sense, the inner consciousness of life.
The more we heed the inner anointing of the Triune God in our spirit, the more we have the mind of Christ, the inner consciousness of life.
The more we contact the Lord and heed the inner anointing, the more we are “painted” with the Triune God; coat by coat, we are painted and anointed with the Triune God, and all the ingredients of the all-inclusive, life-giving, compound Spirit are added to our being.
Sometimes we have the Lord’s inner speaking, but we don’t listen to it; even though we may not listen, the anointing still adds something of God into us. Sooner or later, we will obey because more of God has gotten into us.
The teaching of the anointing of the Spirit is an inner sense of life; there’s an inner sense that communicates to us directly what is the mind of God, the thought of God, and the feeling of God (see Acts 16:6-7; 2 Cor. 2:13).
It is difficult to describe what this sense is, but we sense the moving of the indwelling Spirit, mainly by telling us not to do something or to go along with what is being spoken, the leading within from the Lord.
There is an inner sense in us, something that comes from the anointing of the Triune God, that causes us to live in and with the Divine Trinity according to the leading of the anointing.
Hallelujah, in our spirit now the Triune God in Christ as the Spirit is moving, anointing, and operating! Amen, Lord, we open to You and we want to heed the inner anointing of the Triune God. We turn to our spirit and we exercise to speak with You and listen to what You are speaking to us. May there be a daily moving and operating of the Spirit in our being. We apply the blood to all our sins and trespasses, and we want to have the teaching of the anointing. Amen, Lord, may there be a constant inner anointing to anoint god into us so that we may be saturated with God and possess God! May there be an inner teaching of the anointing in us so that we may understand the mind of God and have the inner consciousness of life! We say Amen to Your inner anointing, and we open to Your operating, moving, and flowing in us.
Dealing with our Natural Life by the Cross, Submitting to the Headship of Christ, and Living in the Body Life to have the Spirit’s Anointing and Enjoy the Fellowship of the Body
Many times we have to admit that it seems that we don’t hear the Lord’s voice, the anointing of the Triune God within.
We know that Christ lives in us, we know that the Spirit is mingled with our spirit, and we know that we have the life and nature of our Father, but we don’t hear His inner voice, and we didn’t feel that He’s moving in us.
On one hand, we don’t need to “feel” something so that we know we have the anointing; on the other hand, if we didn’t sense the Lord’s inner anointing, we need to come to the Lord concerning this.
For us to have the anointing of the Triune God and sense the Lord’s leading, we first need to be dealt with in our natural life by the cross.
We can’t hear the Lord’s speaking and we don’t sense the inner anointing because our natural life is so wild, so prevailing, and so loud, and we live in our natural life.
We need to allow the cross to deal with our natural life and tame it, and we need to submit to the headship of Christ.
If we’re not under the Head, taking Christ as our Head and obeying His leading, we cannot follow the inner anointing.
Many believers do not receive any leading because they are not standing in the right place; they live in their natural life, and they do not submit to the authority of the Head.
Also, we need to live in the Body, that is, live the Body life (Eph. 3:3-6, 15-16).
When our natural life is dealt with by the cross, we submit under the headship of Christ and live the Body life, we will have the Spirit’s anointing and we will enjoy the fellowship of the Body.
The more we live in the fellowship of the Body, the more we enjoy the anointing of the Spirit.
The condition is that we allow the cross to deal with our flesh and our natural life in a thorough way.
When our natural life is thoroughly dealt with, when it is in ashes and is on the cross, we realize we’re not qualified to propose something or express our opinion, and we open to the Lord’s inner leading, the anointing of the Triune God.
May we allow Christ to have the absolute authority over everything, taking Him as our Lord in an absolute way.
May we submit to the headship of Christ and live the Body life so that we may have the Spirit’s anointing and enjoy the fellowship of the Body.
Our living in and with the Divine Trinity is a corporate living, not merely by ourselves; I live in the Divine Trinity and you live in the Divine Trinity, and together we live in the reality of the Body of Christ.
It is in the reality of the Body of Christ that we live in and with the Divine Trinity according to the teaching of the anointing of the Triune God.
Lord Jesus, we want to have and follow the inner anointing of the Triune God. We open to You, Lord, and we allow You to deal with our natural life by the cross. We acknowledge that we are not qualified to offer our opinion or say something; we open to Your speaking, Your leading, and Your anointing. We submit ourselves to Your headship, and we take You as our Lord and our Head. We want to live in the Body and for the Body so that we may live the Body life today. Amen, Lord, have a free way to live, move, anoint, and speak in us. May we be those who have the Spirit’s anointing and enjoy the fellowship of the Body!
