we are joined to the Lord as one spirit, and now we live a life in our mingled spirit

January 31, 2012 by aGodMan 2 Comments

Just as the branches in the vine absorb all the riches of the vine and bear fruit, so we as branches in Christ the vine absorb all the riches of Christ! We have been rooted and grounded in Christ, we are one spirit with the Lord, and we need to remain here in this organic union absorbing all the riches of Christ into our being. In this organic union, in this eternal kiss between God and man in our mingled spirit, we are made one with God and we are blended together in life organically to be one spirit! God’s move is in man today, and the flow of life out of the house of God is for God’s glory

Athanasius said concerning Christ, He was made man that we might be made God, and he also said, The Word was made flesh… that we, partaking of His Spirit, might me deified. This is how God moves on earth – God moves in man and through man, doing nothing apart from man. God moves in man to deify man, making man the same as God in life and nature but not in the Godhead. Hallelujah, we are in this process of being deified as we allow God to move in us! [continue reading online]

Lord, restore to me the gladness of Your salvation, and sustain me with a willing spirit!

there is a connection here between the gladness of salvation and the willingness of spirit – when we are happy in the Lord and with the Lord, we also have a willing spirit! A willing spirit depends upon the joy of salvation – when we have the joy restored to us, we are happy and willing to go along with the Lord and do what He desires. We obey the Lord because we love Him and we are filled with the joy of our salvation!

I will declare Your name to My brothers; in the midst of the church I will sing hymns of praise to You

Praise the Lord for His church-producing resurrection! After passing through His redeeming death (Psa. 22:1-22), Christ entered into His church-producing resurrection (Psa. 22:22-31). The aspects emphasized in Psalms 22 are the church and the many brothers being produced in Christ’s resurrection. When the Lord Jesus was on the earth, He called His followers His disciples, […]

we need to be born of God with the divine life in order for us to be part of the kingdom of God

October 21, 2010 by aGodMan 1 Comment

It is not by our doing, our striving, or our behavior that we become part of the kingdom of God, and neither is it by our being affiliated to any of the “churches” that are out there. The only way we can become part of the kingdom of God or even see the kingdom of […]
