Building the Church according to God’s Plan, “the Pattern Shown on the Mountain”

November 22, 2015 by aGodMan 2 Comments

The pattern of the tabernacle and all its furnishings is a full type of both the individual Christ and the corporate Christ as the Body, the church, including many details of the experience of Christ for the church life and a full picture of the church life with all its details (Heb. 9:4). ExoCS (2) msg 12

Though we cannot see God physically with our eyes, if we are pure in heart and have an unveiled face toward the Lord, we can see Him face to face and we can even behold Him and reflect Him like a mirror, and this causes us to be transformed into the same image as the […]

seeing the oneness practically portrayed in the gold rings in the tabernacle

July 16, 2012 by aGodMan 7 Comments

The oneness the Lord Jesus prayed for in John 17 is very deep and mysterious, needing a lot of portions in the Bible to explain, expound, and make clear. Humanly speaking, how can we perceive such a oneness – the Triune God in us and us in the Triune God, we being brought into the […]

the picture of the tabernacle shows us that God is enterable: we can enter into God!

February 28, 2012 by aGodMan 1 Comment

Before Christ came, God could only dwell among men, but after the process Christ passed through, by receiving Christ and experiencing Him as all the furnishing of the tabernacle, we can enter into God! The way we enter into God is by having all our problems solved (at the bronze altar) and by being washed to become the new creation (at the laver) – these qualify us to enter into the incarnated God (signified by the tabernacle). We enter further into God by enjoying Christ as our daily supply (at the showbread table), the light of life (at the lampstand), and at the incense altar being accepted by God and having intimate fellowship with God! college-age conference testimony – our enjoyment of Christ is for the building up of God’s dwelling place

October 27, 2010 by aGodMan 4 Comments

In this past college age conference in London I was impressed with the fact that our enjoyment of Christ is not for ourselves only, but for the building of God’s dwelling place! O Lord, save me from being limited in my small heart! Enlarge me to have Your heart and be one with You! I […]

college age conference testimony – practically consecrating our time to the Lord for His building

October 25, 2010 by aGodMan 1 Comment

This last College Age Conference really moved me and changed my entire perception towards God’s need today. In the book of Exodus we can see that God desires a building – the people of Israel journeyed from the crossing of the Red Sea until they had a unique building – the tabernacle. One of the brothers […]
