Experiencing Jehovah as the Triune God – the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob

September 7, 2017 by aGodMan 17 Comments

Jesus is not merely a man — He is I Am. The name Jesus means “Jehovah the Savior” or “the salvation of Jehovah” (Matt. 1:21). The name Jesus includes the name Jehovah, which means “I am who I am” (Exo. 3:14). Jesus is Jehovah becoming our Savior and our salvation (Rom. 10:12-13; 5:10; cf. Phil. 1:19). The fact that Jesus is the great I Am implies that He is the eternal One (John 8:58). Jesus is Jehovah, the I Am; His name is I Am (vv. 24, 28). The One who was arrested in the garden was not merely a Nazarene; this One was the great I Am, the infinite, eternal God; the One who was arrested was Jehovah God (18:4-8). Crystallization-Study of Ezekiel (2), outline 3

The Bible reveals that Jehovah – the self-existing and ever-existing One – is the Triune God; He is the unique God, yet He is Triune – He’s the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, which correspond to God the Father, Son, and Spirit. Many believers and unbelievers alike are confused concerning the Divine Trinity and […]

The God of Abraham is the God of Changelessness and the Triune God of Provision

We need to experience the God of Abraham as the Almighty God with His Friendly Care, the God of Changelessness, the God with His Trial, the Triune God of Provision, the Triune God of Blessing, and the God of Friendship on the Human Level.

Who God is to us depends on how much of Him we experience in our daily living. If God is only the God of glory appearing to us, we will be attracted by Him to come out of anything of the old man to Himself in the new creation. If God is the One who […]

The God of Abraham is the God of All-Sufficiency and the God with His Human Friendship

Gen. 17:1-2 And when Abram was ninety-nine years old, Jehovah appeared to Abram and said to him, I am the All-sufficient God; Walk before Me, and be perfect. And I will make My covenant between Me and you, And I will multiply you exceedingly.

The God whom we worship, contact, enjoy, and serve calls Himself, the God of Abraham, the God of a person. What did Abraham experience of God so that God would call Himself as his God? Are we experiencing God as the God of Abraham today so that God would also call Himself, our God? Is […]

The God of Abraham is the God of Faithfulness, the God of Silence, Our Shield and Reward

The God of Abraham is the God of Shield and Great Reward, the God of Faithfulness, and the God of Silence

Is the God of Abraham YOUR God? Do you experience God in all the aspects that Abraham did? The reason God calls Himself, the God of Abraham, is because He was enjoyed and experienced by Abraham in many ways and for many years, and therefore He could work Himself into Abraham to become subjective to […]

The God of Abraham is the God of the Earth, the God of Comfort, and the Most High God

Genesis 22:17 I will surely bless you and will greatly multiply your seed like the stars of the heavens and like the sand which is on the seashore; and your seed shall possess the gate of his enemies.

Our God is the God of our father, the God of Abraham. He is the God of glory, the One who appeared to us and called us out unto Himself as the good land to walk in and enjoy. He is also the God who blesses us – He blesses us with God in Christ […]

The God of Abraham is the God of Blessing: He Blesses us and Makes us a Blessing

The God of Abraham is the God of Blessing, He Blesses us and Makes us a Blessing

As believers in Christ, our God is the God of Abraham. This means that we need to know and experience God as the God of Abraham in all His aspects. First of all, God is the One who calls us by appearing to us as the God of glory. His appearing attracts us, and He […]

The God of Abraham as Seen in His Dealings with Abraham is first the God of Glory

Acts 7:2-4 "...The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham while he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Haran, and said to him, “Come out from your land and from your relatives, and come into the land which I will show you.” Then he came forth from the land of the Chaldeans and dwelt in Haran. And from there, after his father died, He removed him into this land, in which you now dwell."

It is very significant that the God who all the three major religions in the world worship is the God of a single person, the God of Abraham. There are many edifices and tombs built for kings and great heroes in the history, but there is not even one edifice built for Abraham. This man, […]
