Being Brought under the Ruling of God’s Authority through the Gospel of the Kingdom

May 4, 2016 by aGodMan 1 Comment

The fundamental problem in the universe is rebellion against the authority of God; when man fell, he rebelled against God, put God’s authority aside, denied God’s authority, and rejected God’s rule. Through the gospel of the kingdom, God brings people under the ruling of the heavenly authority so that they may become His kingdom, those who are ruled by His authority. Witness Lee

Our unique commission given by the Lord is that we preach the gospel; He as our Lord and Savior took the lead to preach the gospel of the kingdom, and now we as His disciples and believers need to follow Him and preach the gospel of the kingdom to the whole inhabited earth. The gospel […]

Knowing and Appreciating Christ in His Excellency and Supreme Preciousness

May 10, 2013 by aGodMan 2 Comments

Phil. 3:7-8 says, ...What things were gains to me, these I have counted as loss on account of Christ. But moreover I also count all things to be loss on account of the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, on account of whom I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as refuse that I may gain Christ.

We need to see a vision of the excellency of Christ. Paul saw it, and for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ he considered all other things (even good things) to be refuse, so that he may gain Christ (Phil. 3:7-8). We may still treasure and desire other things today, but when Christ is […]

being a Christian student on the campus: overflow from the students in London top enjoyment

December 8, 2011 by Christian Student 2 Comments

Recently we had a meeting with the Christian students in London, an overflow meeting, something like a end-of-term celebration meeting… “This semester my roommate got saved! This is the best thing that has ever happened to me!” “The best thing we can give the Lord is our time – and there’s no better way to spend our time than being with the Lord” [read more testimonies online]

don’t let a day go by without confessing your love for the Lord! (a student’s testimony)

May 28, 2011 by Christian Student 2 Comments

I have been in the church life for nearly 8 months now. The Lord mercifully “brought some saints my own way” and two mature saints have taught myself and another new brother about the word of God, the Triune God, the all-inclusive Christ, the life-giving Spirit, the Economy of God, the Body of Christ, and […]

Why this waste? Wasting ourselves upon the Lord…

Why this waste? Wasting ourselves upon the Lord...

This is the goal of the gospel – that loving the Lord Jesus with the first love we would pour out upon Him what is most precious to us – even our most costly and valuable spiritual treasures! Just wasting ourselves upon Him! We see this in Matthew 26:6-12 where the Lord Jesus was invited […]
