January 22, 2018 by aGodMan 7 Comments

John 12:1-2 Then Jesus...came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, whom Jesus had raised from the dead....They made Him a supper there; and Martha served, but Lazarus was one of the ones reclining at table with Him.

The gospel of John is a book on life and building; God comes to is in Christ to be our life, and this life is for God’s building – for Christ as life meets the need of every man’s case to build up the house of God. This week in our deeper study of what […]

The more we Grow in Life, the more we are Headed up in Christ by His Life and Light

January 20, 2018 by aGodMan 5 Comments

In order to be delivered from the heap of collapse in a practical way, we need to grow in life; the more we grow in life, the more we will be headed up and the more we will be rescued from the universal collapse (Eph. 4:15; Col. 2:19). Witness Lee

The heading up in Christ in the church life is by life and light; first God comes into us as life to swallow any death, then the light of life shines in us to dispel the darkness, and we are headed up in Christ, being under the light as we grow in life. Wow! It […]

We are Headed up in Christ through the Divine Dispensing which is Sweet and Intimate

January 19, 2018 by aGodMan 5 Comments

Our Father has a great house with a vast store of the unsearchable riches of Christ. This great house needs some administration, some management, to dispense all these riches into God’s people for the producing of the church as the corporate expression of the Triune God. God’s economy, therefore, is His household administration to dispense Himself in Christ into His chosen people so that He may have a house, a household, to express Himself, which household is the church, the Body of Christ. Witness Lee, The Conclusion of the New Testament, p. 258

In the church life we are being headed up through the divine dispensing in the divine economy, for God is working Himself into us through an administration that is a sweet dispensing, an intimate stewardship, and a comfortable household arrangement. When most Christians hear about the fact that God wants to head up all things […]

In the Church Life we Take the Lead to be Headed up in Christ by Growing in Life

January 18, 2018 by aGodMan 6 Comments

1 Cor. 11:3 But I want you to know that Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the head of the woman, and God is the head of Christ.

God’s eternal purpose is to head up all things in Christ through the church, and we as the church need to take the lead to be headed up in Christ, so that through the church God will be able to head up all things in Christ. In this universe there was a universal rebellion which […]

We need to realize that the Proper Church Life is a Life of being Headed up in Christ

January 17, 2018 by aGodMan 11 Comments

We all need to be delivered from the heap of collapse and headed up in Christ (Col. 1:12-13). The collapse of the universe caused by the rebellion of Satan and the fall of man gives God an excellent opportunity to manifest His wisdom (Eph. 1:8; 3:10; Rom. 11:33). According to the Bible, God’s salvation is to save us not only from our fallen, sinful condition but also from the heap of collapse (Eph. 2:1-8, 21-22). Witness Lee

The church is life is a life of being headed up in Christ, for we all need to be delivered from the heap of collapse caused by man’s fall, and to be headed up in Christ. God’s eternal purpose is for Him to gain a corporate expression in man, so that God in Christ through […]

God is Working to Liberate His Creation from Bondage by Heading up All things in Christ

January 16, 2018 by aGodMan 9 Comments

When Satan injected himself into man, he brought confusion to the whole creation. By this confusion the whole creation is under the bondage of corruption in vanity. This corruption came from darkness, the darkness came from death, and death came from Satan. So God has many problems. He has an enemy to deal with, and He has death, darkness, confusion, corruption, bondage, and vanity in His creation. Even today the whole creation is groaning because it is still in vanity and in the bondage of corruption. God must liberate His creation from bondage and bring it into the order of liberty by heading up all things under the headship of Christ. Witness Lee, God’s Purpose for the Church, pp. 24-25

Satan’s goal is to corrupt God’s creation and to cause confusion, and he did so by injecting himself into man at the fall; but God is working to liberate His creation from bondage by heading up all things in Christ. Hallelujah, God is operating to liberate the entire creation from under the slavery of sin […]

God’s Eternal Intention is to Head up All Things in Christ, the Head over All Things

January 15, 2018 by aGodMan 8 Comments

It is God’s eternal purpose that in the economy of the fullness of the times, He might head up all things in Christ (Eph. 1:10). Through the dispensations of God in all the ages, all things will be headed up in Christ in the new heaven and new earth; this will be God’s eternal administration and economy (Rev. 21:1-2). Witness Lee

In our seeking before the Lord concerning what is the genuine church life, we need to be realize that the church life is a life of being headed up in Christ, for God wants to head up all things in Christ. The church is the Body of Christ – this is not an allegory or […]
