Let us pray for the saints to proclaim the glad tidings concerning Christ

June 10, 2021 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

To me, less than the least of all saints, was this grace given to announce to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ as the gospel. Eph. 3:8

Dear saints, let us pray that the saints would proclaim the glad tidings concerning the wonderful person of Christ and His unsearchable riches (Luke 2:10-11; Acts 5:42; Rom. 1:1-4; Eph. 3:8). Actually, you have to realize that [in Ephesians 3:8] to announce…as the gospel in Greek is just one word. This word is not the […]

Serving God by Burning in Spirit with the Fire of God’s Life, not with Strange Fire

December 17, 2015 by aGodMan 1 Comment

Our natural strength and ability need to be dealt with by the cross to become useful in resurrection for our service to the Lord. Witness Lee

As believers in Christ, we should live according to the principle of the tree of life, that is, we should depend on the Lord. In God’s eyes the greatest sin is independence; doing things for God or in God’s name yet without God’s living presence is declaring independence from God, and God does not appreciate […]

Living According to the Principle of the Tree of Life, the Principle of Dependence

December 16, 2015 by aGodMan 1 Comment

O Lord, we stand before You beseeching You to speak again. Man is empty and cannot do anything. We can only ask for Your grace to open our eyes. Every time we open our mouths or make decisions, cause us to come before You and ask if our decision is according to right and wrong or according to the inward leading of life. Lord, cause us to see the difference between what is spiritual and what is fleshly. Cause us to really see the difference between inward light and outward law. Lord, save us from the way of death. Lord, it is wrong for us to live by discerning right from wrong. May we see that discerning right from wrong is sin and death, because only those who live in death can do this. Those who live in life must be led by life. It must be the life that takes the lead. Lord, be among us so that we would see this clearly. We have said this many times, and we want to say it again: May Your Word not be spoken in vain. Cause us to know what life is and what law is. Bless these scattered utterances. Have mercy on us, and grace us. Lead us in the way before us. In the name of the Lord Jesus. Amen. Watchman Nee

It is good to be brought back to God’s original intention, what He desired to do and achieve from the very beginning: He wants to dispense Himself into us as life to be our life, life-supply, and everything, so that we may express Him corporately (see Gen. 2:9; 1:26). God’s intention is the same throughout […]

The Divine Life Flowing in the Divine Nature is our Unique Way in our Daily Life

December 15, 2015 by aGodMan 1 Comment

The divine life flows in the divine nature as the unique way for the daily life of God’s redeemed people. Whatever we do according to God’s nature, we immediately have the deep sensation of the flow of life watering us. Witness Lee

God is life, and eternal life is God Himself. Apart from God, there is no life, and all life depends on God. However, many times we think that when someone is pious, devoted, has a good behaviour, is moral and ethical, has a gift, is powerful, knows the Bible, is full of activities and zealous […]

The Way of the Lord’s Recovery is the Way of the Eternal Life; Life is God Himself

December 14, 2015 by aGodMan 1 Comment

Rev. 22:1-2 And he showed me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb in the middle of its street. And on this side and on that side of the river was the tree of life, producing twelve fruits, yielding its fruit each month; and the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.

The Lord’s recovery is not only a recovery of the truth but also of life. This week we are getting into the matter of the eternal life in a deeper way to see some important principles related to the application and experience of this life in our Christian life and service today. The Lord’s recovery […]

Eternal Life is the Triune God Dispensed into us to be our Life and to Live in us

Life is the Triune God dispensed into us and living in us

Life is mysterious because life is God Himself. Our human life is mysterious and we are not able to fully understand it. How much more the life of God? If we can barely grasp what our human life is about, what about the eternal life? Throughout the Bible we see many people who have experienced […]

Enjoying and Experiencing God as the Eternal One by Calling on the Name of the Lord

May 9, 2014 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

Before the mountains were brought forth, And before You gave birth to the earth and the world, Indeed from eternity to eternity, You are God. (Psa. 90:2)

Our God is one, yet He is the Triune God. He is one, yet He has many names depending on our experience and enjoyment of Him. He is called Jehovah in His relationship with man, in coming to be with man and caring for man, especially in the Old Testament. He is the Most High […]
