We Submit to God’s Authority when we Submit to the Delegated Authority He set over us

October 15, 2019 by aGodMan 1 Comment

It is easy today for man to submit to God’s direct authority, but it is not easy to submit to the delegated authority God has appointed. The reason for this is that you may not consider the delegated authority better or stronger than you are….When you come to a local church, the elders there may not have been saved as long ago as you were. They may not be as spiritual as you are, may not have received as much education as you have received, and may not be as capable as you are. But when you are there, you have to accept that delegated authority and submit to it. Witness Lee, The Elders’ Management of the Church, p. 141

In this universe only God is the supreme authority, and all other authorities are delegated authorities, deputy authorities, authorities appointed by God; when we submit to and obey the deputy authority, we obey and submit to God. God is the supreme authority; He has all authority, and He gives authority to particular persons in a […]

A Nazarite has a Submissive Spirit and is Absolutely Subject to the Lord’s Headship

March 20, 2019 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

Rom. 13:1-2a Let every person be subject to the authorities over him, for there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are ordained by God. So then he who resists the authority opposes God’s ordination...

Being a Nazarite means that we do not reject but are absolutely subject under the Lord’s headship as well as to all the deputy authorities appointed by God, as indicated by a Nazarite not shaving his head but letting his hair grow long. The first thing related to a Nazarite was that he had to […]

The Church is Heavenly: the Nature of the Church is to Submit to God’s Authority

August 9, 2017 by aGodMan 14 Comments

Matt. 6:10 Your kingdom come; Your will be done, as in heaven, so also on earth.

The nature of the church is heavenly, and the main significance of this is that the church is under Christ’s authority, submitting to no other person but Christ and His authority alone. It is vitally necessary for us as believers in Christ to know the nature of the church. According to the New Testament, the […]

The Authority in the Church is the Throne above the Clear Sky, God’s Ruling Presence

March 25, 2017 by aGodMan 7 Comments

If we have God’s throne above the clear sky, we will be in a heavenly situation, having the appearance of a sapphire stone with the heavenly situation, atmosphere, and condition of the Lord’s presence. Witness Lee

According to the Lord’s word in Matt 20 and 28 and based on Ezekiel 1, the only authority in the church is the throne above the clear sky, and when we are in subjection to God’s authority, we represent God, we have God’s ruling presence, and the throne in the heavens is transmitted to the earth […]

The Highest Point in our Spiritual Experience is having a Clear Sky with the Throne Above it

March 24, 2017 by aGodMan 7 Comments

According to our experience and in light of Ezekiel chapter one, the highest point in our spiritual experience is having a clear sky with the throne above it. We need to have the spiritual experiences depicted in Ezekiel 1, from the open heavens with God’s direct speaking to having a clear and expanding sky with […]

Being Brought under the Ruling of God’s Authority through the Gospel of the Kingdom

May 4, 2016 by aGodMan 1 Comment

The fundamental problem in the universe is rebellion against the authority of God; when man fell, he rebelled against God, put God’s authority aside, denied God’s authority, and rejected God’s rule. Through the gospel of the kingdom, God brings people under the ruling of the heavenly authority so that they may become His kingdom, those who are ruled by His authority. Witness Lee

Our unique commission given by the Lord is that we preach the gospel; He as our Lord and Savior took the lead to preach the gospel of the kingdom, and now we as His disciples and believers need to follow Him and preach the gospel of the kingdom to the whole inhabited earth. The gospel […]

Reigning in Life by Submitting to God’s Authority and by Being Ruled by His Life

December 11, 2013 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

Reigning in Life by Submitting to God's Authority and by Being Ruled by His Life! Rom. 8:37 But in all these things we more than conquer through Him who loved us

God’s desire is to make Himself the same as man is so that man may become the same as God is in life, nature, expression, and function, but not in the Godhead. This means that God wants man to rule with Him and through Him over all things. We need to see that our position […]
