We enjoy Christ as our Husband by having a Private and Spiritual Relationship with Him

January 8, 2022 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

Draw me; we will run after you - The king has brought me into his chambers - / We will be glad and rejoice in you; / We will extol your love more than wine. / Rightly do they love you. Song of Songs 1:4

The romance in the Song of Songs portrays that our relationship with the Lord must be personal and affectionate, and it must also be private and spiritual; we need to develop our relationship with the Lord, our dear Husband, whom we love! Our relationship with God is not only of worshipping Him and revering Him […]

Seeing the Principle of Babylon and being Saved from Human Endeavor and Hypocrisy

Matt. 6:1-6 v. 1 But take care not to do your righteousness before men in order to be gazed at by them; otherwise, you have no reward with your Father who is in the heavens. v. 2 Therefore when you give alms, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be glorified by men. Truly I say to you, They have their reward in full. v. 3 But you, when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, v. 4 So that your alms may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will repay you. v. 5 And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites, because they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners, so that they may be seen by men. Truly I say to you, They have their reward in full. v. 6 But you, when you pray, enter into your private room, and shut your door and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will repay you.

This week in our deeper study of the recovery of the church we come the matter of the degradation of the church – the principle of Babylon and the way to overcome it. As those who have been shown mercy by the Lord to be in the Lord’s recovery today, we are not in Babylon, […]

entering into our private room and praying to the Father who is in secret

The Lord Jesus set a good pattern before us – He as the first God-man prayed to the Father much time in secret! Even after He fed the crowds by making a miracle, He went away and went up to the mountain to pray, and He spent the whole night in prayer alone with the […]
