The Enjoyment of Christ Solves All the Problems in the Church Life through the Cross

December 4, 2018 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

2 Cor. 11:3 But I fear lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your thoughts would be corrupted from the simplicity and the purity toward Christ.

In learning to shepherd one another according to God we need to enjoy Christ and bring one another into the enjoyment of Christ, for the enjoyment of the all-inclusive Christ solves the problems in the church through the work of the cross. First, we must see God’s desire, His good pleasure, which is to dispense […]

Ministering to the Lord not by Human Effort or Sweat but in God’s Rest and Blessing

October 18, 2017 by aGodMan 7 Comments

Linen garments signify a daily living and walk in the life-giving Spirit by the life of Christ; such a living and walk is pure, clean, and fine. Woolen garments would cause the priests to sweat (v. 18), a sign of fallen man laboring under God’s curse, without God’s blessing, by his own energy and strength (Gen. 3:19). The work that causes sweat is the work that comes out of human effort without the blessing from God the Father; everyone ministering to the Lord must do a work that causes no sweat, a work without human effort and fleshly strength - Isa. 30:15a. Crystallization-Study of Ezekiel (2), outline 9

According to Ezek. 44:17-18, those who minister to the Lord should not wear woolen but linen garments, so that they would not sweat; this means that as we serve the Lord we should do a work with no sweat, no human effort, a work under God’s blessing. We want to be those who minister to […]

Dwelling in our Spirit and in Christ, and being a Chaste Bride for the Lord Today

In the Lord Jesus, Satan as the ruler of the world had no ground, no chance, no hope, no possibility in anything....Here is a man of prayer who said that Satan, the ruler of the world, had nothing in Him [John 14:30]....Christ was a man of prayer, a man who is one with God, lives in the presence of God continuously, trusts in God in His suffering and persecution, and in whom Satan has nothing. W. Lee, The God-man Living, p. 90

Because the church in Pergamos entered into a union with the world, she dwelled where the throne of Satan is; we should not be in the place where Satan is and reigns but be those dwelling in our spirit and in Christ, the One in whom Satan has nothing! The Lord’s speaking to the church […]

Being Warned and Saved from the Apostasy of Dan by Repentance, Fellowship, and Blending

November 10, 2014 by aGodMan 1 Comment

In the zenith of his life, Jacob prophesied with blessing over each of his sons; his prophecies can and should be applied not only to the twelve tribes of Israel but to the church and to our Christian experience today. Whether negative or positive, whether warnings or blessings, Jacob’s prophesying with blessing concerning his sons […]

Let Us Return to the Lord: He will Enliven us, Bind us up, and Restore us!

Let Us Return to the Lord: He will Enliven us, Bind us up, and Restore us! [based on Hosea 6:1-2]

The aspiration for revival and restoration can be seen everywhere in the Bible, and especially in the Minor Prophets. On the one hand, Habakkuk prayed for revival (Hab. 3:2); on the other hand, Hosea speaks of, Let us return to Jehovah… on the third day He will raise us up and we will live in […]

What is life? John 14:6a says, Jesus said to him, I am the way and the reality and the life. Life is the source that causes us to realise Christ. This realisation causes us to be in reality which puts us on the way! What does this life do for us? John 4:14 says, But […]

There is a story in the Old Testament about Elijah the prophet and his disciple/continuation, Elisha. In 2 Kings 2:1-15, we see that Elijah was about to be raptured, so he told Elisha to stay in that place where they were because God called him to go to Gilgal. Elisha said, “As Jehovah lives and […]
