We need to Serve God according to God’s Appearing, His Command, and His Instructions

August 2, 2017 by aGodMan 6 Comments

Gen. 12:1, 7 Now Jehovah said to Abram, Go from your land And from your relatives And from your father's house To the land that I will show you....And Jehovah appeared to Abram and said, To your seed I will give this land. And there he built an altar to Jehovah who had appeared to him.

As believers in Christ we love the Lord and desire to serve Him, but we need to realize that our service has to be according to God’s appearing and command, following His instructions according to the pattern He shows us. Noah didn’t serve God out of his own zeal or opinions; he served God according […]

Don’t Commit the Iniquity of the Sanctuary: Let God Initiate the Work and Service

July 31, 2017 by aGodMan 10 Comments

Dan. 11:32 ...But the people who know their God will show strength and take action.

This week in our morning revival we come to a very serious matter – The Need for All Our Service to Be Initiated by God, and today in particular we want the Lord to shine on us that we may be saved from committing the iniquity of the sanctuary in our service to God. In […]

The Pathway of Life: Experiencing the Cross so that God’s Life is Lived out in us

July 29, 2017 by aGodMan 9 Comments

John 12:24 Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless the grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it abides alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.

As believers in Christ, we need to see the pathway of life – which is narrow and constricted, allow the discipline of the Holy Spirit to work in us, and see a vision of how the life of God can be lived out of us. Even though God’s life came into us at the time […]

Our Mind, Emotion, and Will are Subjective Obstacles to God’s Life being Lived in us

July 28, 2017 by aGodMan 8 Comments

Our person is truly an obstacle for the living out of God’s life; this is why we need to be broken and why we daily need to be strengthened into the inner man so that Christ can make His home in our heart, the main parts of which are the mind, will, and emotion (Eph. 3:16-17). Witness Lee

It is wonderful to realize that we as believers in Christ have God’s life in us, but we need to realize that our very person is an obstacle for the living out of God’s life; our mind, emotion, and will are subjective obstacles to God’s life in us. Our Christian life is a matter of […]

Dealing with our Rebellion and Natural Capability through the Cross by the Spirit

July 27, 2017 by aGodMan 11 Comments

There is one solution to all these obstacles in us—we must pass through the cross and let the cross break us; if we want Christ’s life to be unhindered in us, we must experience the breaking of the cross and allow these obstacles to be dealt with and removed (Matt. 16:24-25). Knowing Life and the Church, outline 2

The believers in Christ have God’s life in them, and this life wants to spread and increase; however, there are many obstacles to God’s life, such as our human concepts, hypocrisy, rebellion, and our natural capability. Almost everything inside us and outside us can be a problem to the divine life, hindering the flow, growth, […]

Taking care of the Living Christ in us and being Saved from Our Concepts and Hypocrisy

July 26, 2017 by aGodMan 9 Comments

Phil. 1:20-21 ...My earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I will be put to shame, but...as always, even now Christ will be magnified in my body, whether through life or through death. For to me, to live is Christ...

We need to see the obstacles that God’s life encounters in us, in particular the darkness of our human concepts and opinions and hypocrisy; we need to realize that the only thing that matters in our Christian life is how we take care of the living Christ in us. Our Christian life is actually a […]

Obeying the Inner Feeling from the Spirit, God’s Living Word, as we Read the Bible

July 25, 2017 by aGodMan 4 Comments

If we want to touch life, we need the word, the inner feeling given to us by the Spirit; such a feeling is the living word of God (v. 63; 1 Sam. 3:19-21). If the Spirit in us gives us a word or a feeling to open our mouth and praise the Lord, we should receive this word and open our mouth to praise the Lord; thus, we will have light within, and this light is life, the Spirit, Christ, and God. When we respond to this feeling and offer a prayer of praise to the Lord, we sense the satisfaction of life, the sweetness of Christ, the presence of God, and the moving of the Spirit. Knowing Life and the Church, outline 2

When Christ came, in Him was life, and the life was the light of the world; we as believers in Christ have Christ as life in us, and when we have the Lord’s living word within us, the inner feeling from the Spirit, we have God’s living word and we’re full of light and life. […]
