Ministering to the Lord by Giving Him the First Place and by Focusing only on Him

October 16, 2017 by aGodMan 10 Comments

Are we really ministering to the believers or to Him? Is the focus of our work really on the work or on the Lord? There is a great difference. Ministering to the house is extremely different from ministering to Jesus Christ. We can see many today ministering and serving, but they are only in the outer court. They have not come near to the table...The ministering that the Lord is after—the ministering that He is continually after—is to minister to Him. His desire is not for us to do His work. Laboring is certainly important, plowing the fields is important, and feeding the cattle is also important, but the Lord does not look at these things. Rather, He is after the ministering to God and the serving of God. He wants His slaves to minister to Him and to serve Him. Oh, how happy are those who are able to minister to Him. Watchman Nee, Ministering to the House or to God?

This week in our morning revival time with the Lord we come to the matters of Ministering to the Lord to enjoy Him as the hidden manna, the budding rod, and the law of life. We need to be those who minister not just to the house of God but minister to the Lord. We […]

Having a Proper Heart and Attitude toward the Lord to have His Shining in His Word

Prov. 20:27 The spirit of man is the lamp of Jehovah, Searching all the innermost parts of the inner being.

God is light and in Him there’s no darkness at all; when we meet God and see God, we are brought into His light and any darkness is exposed and removed. Outside of God, there is no light; God is the source of light, and Satan is the origin of darkness. Unless we meet God, […]

It is Crucial to Deal with our Heart and be Pure in Heart Loving the Lord! James 4:8, Draw near to God and He will draw near to you

The Lord Jesus as life came into our spirit, and He desires to spread into every part of our inward being so that He may make His home in us (Eph. 3:17). The key to allowing the Lord to grow in us is our heart – if we have problems in our heart or if […]

Arriving at the Oneness in Practicality by Growing in Life Unto Maturity

How can all the Christians on the earth be one? They should be one since they all believe into the same Lord Jesus, but somehow they “hold to different views”, treasuring specific doctrines, and they are all divided. But the Lord desires to recover the oneness of the Body of Christ in practicality by our […]

seeing Christ as the Only Begotten Son becoming the Firstborn Son of God!

“Hallelujah, we are happy Christians because in the Lord’s recovery we are being brought again and again to Christ!” (brother Dick Taylor). God called us into the fellowship of His son - the enjoyment of the all-inclusive Christ!

This morning I thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful verse that describes what God’s intention towards us is – 1 Cor. 1:9, God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. God called us into the fellowship of His Son – He called us to enjoy and partake […]
